This video had to be made! The sequel, however, did not! Hahah.
The whole movie felt like it was an SNL soundstage parody sketch of Hocus Pocus.
Hand animated splines by a decently paid artist versus whatever happened in the sequel.
Seeing the difference in the effects between these films makes me want to compare the adjusted budget of these films.
The budget of the original is 28M (52M after inflation correction in 2021) and the second one has 40M budget. Not a gigantic difference, but it's more important to know where the budget went...
