I ordered a 4' and upgraded to an 8' back on 2/1. Is it possible to have you guys assemble and drop off since I am local, like I did with my mini and other obstacles?
Attempting to make one of these right now. The only thing I'm a little confused about is how they attached the bar to the 2x2, I dont see any holes in the bar.
I want one so bad but I’m worried it will warp from sitting in my Midwest garage. Does the Skate-lite hold up to the humidity better than the standard wood?
I know you guys are in the business to sell these ramps but do you sell plans? I’d like actually buy the supplies and build this myself. Jut needed the plans so I’d know what to buy.
4- 2x4s. 8' or 10' in length. (8' for 4'rail, 10' for 8') 1- 2×2. 8'-10' 1- 2" Galvanized Sch. 40 pipe 1- 4'×4' or (half sheet) of 3/4" plywood 1- full sheet (8'×4') of Birch (2) for 8' Always better to have more then mess up and have to run out again. Best of luck hope this helps🤘 OOOHHHHH😮😮AND SCREWS😂
I'm thinking of trying to set up a system with nuts, bolts and washers so I can attach and separate the two 4ft sections whenever I need, to make it more portable. Wondering if y'all gave that any thought, maybe for the future? Thanks~
@@jasonb993 It’s a lot to move around but It’s working. I like bringing it to certain spots and warming up on it! Takes 1-2 minutes to join them together. Thinking this will work until I find a permanent place for it.
Dear Keen ramps, Please, make a version of this with one of the side tapers cut off So it would be ths shape of a small kicker |°\ To simulate a 90° curb as well. I will buy one . Just don't like the pyramid shape /°\ Love the videos.
Oye. Love this obstacle but PLEASE (camera person) learn to pull focus if you're going to go crazy with shallow depth of field. It's not artistic to have the subject out of focus in an assembly video.
If you are buying the 8’ With skate-lite And you are an adult or even a child with a little common sense You take that $500 go to the hardware store and buy a drill and a saw Write down all the parts in this video buy them, and cut the wood… Take off your diaper, and slip on your big boy/ big girl pants and make it it yourself… Then you take that $200 dollars you have left over and send it to me… Thank Yaoundé bin advance
Look at all the people trying to DIY…. Hardly any have done a perfect job. The transition to it and craftsmanship on the floor side edges aren’t like your average ramp.
No, not really. Between buying and maintaining power tools, having a woodshop, material costs, labor to cut the pieces, packing time to ship and time for customer support here and there business needs to make money. Im sure they back their product as well. I understand why youd feel that way looking at it but it isnt worth it for a company to put something out for a measly 10%-20% profit. It just isnt sustainable. If they only had a $20 profit per 4' kit nobody is going to make these at that. Youd have to sell a TON of them.
Stoked on this. Mine is en route. Thanks for always putting out quality content. Informative, fun, to the point.
How did this work out for ya?
Love this older vid, to see how y'all have stayed genuine to Urselves and the industry! 👊
this thing looks really fun. i wish i had one back when i used to skate in my garage
I got enough skill to replicate this. Cheers from New Zealand
make a 6ft or 7ft wouldve been the sweet spot, long enough to grind but short enough to keep the cost down.
Imma get one as soon as the weather gets stably warm out here in Montana!!.. whoop 🙌.. 😝
Can’t wait to pick mine up next week! 😮💨😮💨

Hey keenramps, do you ship to Europe? Cuz dang this obstacle slaps, would suck if I had to build this myself
Cory you are an inspiration good shit
*thank you/ prayer emoji hands big time!
Can't wait

Drill holes through the coping near the ends at an angle
cant wait to get one
Super cool

Skatelite is 100% water/ weather proof. Best stuff on the market
i want one soo bad but the 8ft cost me half a months paycheck and the 4ft is useless!
Ya bro just go buy the wood at Home Depot it will prob cost like 50 bucks
It's been a year, have you saved enough money yet 💀

Slap Pad is 7" high though if I recall correctly.
🔥🔥🔥
Wait. So, what is a slap stick?
6:52 Me and my friends call that "wood persuasion"😅

Update: I used 2 3/8” bolts to attach the two sections and slid a 2” wood dowel inside the coping to pin them together.
@@jaycrum3727how’s it working out fam?

Can you please make a video of how to build a slap stick at home
what size pipe is the coping?
6.5 inch girth coping
2” inside diameter steel (schedule 40), so the outside diameter is 2.375”
why not bevel one side of the coping inside and the other side outside, so when you match two of these, the copings can be "inserted" into the other?

Love the videos.
I think it would tip over if you hit it from the tapered side.
Will tip over mate
Slap Pad has what you're looking for. Bigger and heavier though
I’m here for manifestation
