*This is an UNSPONSORED review. I purchased all of these products myself and am not affiliated with Olaplex in any way.*
In this video, I’m trying every single olaplex product (except for 1 and 2, those are not home-use). The amount of hype, whether warranted or unwarranted, behind this brand is on another level. I see people raving about these products all over RUclips, TikTok, Instagram…they’re EVERYWHERE. I used to use no 3, but stopped because I was using a billion things in my hair and it kinda just floated in the back of my haircare cabinet…and I forget about it, lol. But after seeing video after video of Olaplex on social media, I decided to try it out for myself. Make sure you watch the entire video to see my final thoughts on all of the products! Let me know in the comments, have you tried Olaplex? Which products do/don’t you like.

Hi guys! I've added subtitles from 4 languages to the video! Let me know if there's a language you think I should add that I missed. I hope you enjoyed the video!
That’s really awesome!! Much appreciate 🙏✌🏽❤️
arabic
Arabic yay
I love how u included Arabic! We love an international queen
As an Arab, it means the world to see u doing this
Hi French
I talked with my stylist and he said that it is good for damaged hair and should only be used up to 6 months (or until you see your desired results). After that he specifically said to not use it anymore! It’s not supposed to be used as an everyday shampoo or conditioner because it does contain excessive treatment chemicals salon professionals use when they are treating damaged hair. Just wanted to put out some helpful info out there!
Thanks for that info hun 😘
Does this apply to all products or just 1 & 2? Tinking about getting No. 3 and was just wondering how long I am supposed to use it!
@@kurowskysarah1999 what she says isn’t true.
I use them once a month..
do u think the styling oil could be for an everyday use?
No.4 & No.5 are for very damaged and colored hair ! I wish she would’ve said this in the video. That’s why it’s a holy grail for a lot of hairstylists and for damage control since dyed hair is SO DIFFERENT from natural hair. It has saved so many people with damaged hair !
So if i dyed my hair blonde then when a darker aubrun brown would that be a 5 or 4 I wouldnt consider my hair damage from that
do u have to use them both or is 5 alone fine?
Sorry I don't get why 4 and 5 would be 'holy grail' when 0+3 and 6+7 seem to be much more powerful combos?
@Road Rage olaplex is more for damaged hair, some people reported that their hair were dry after olaplex. But you can use the n8 for dry hair
thank you so much
I used to get oily hair from olaplex too (I generally have oily hair ) but I started using a less amount of the shampoo and now it works great for me! A little really goes a long way
While watching I was like OH NOOO. Definitely toooooo much product 😔
I feel like this shampoo is good for like weekly use or when your hairs dry it’s too oily for regular use (for most people )
@@BAMBEE87 same!! when she was applying them to her hand I was like “omg stop stop STOP!!” 😭💀
I did the same
It took me some time to adjust to the right amount, so I get what you mean. I used too much and didn't rinse enough. After using way less and rinsing more: voila! It really works :) My hair is bleached, so it needs help.
THIS is what the standard for reviews should be. Descriptive, informative, straightforward, and super in depth. Amazing!!
This is a very well done video review. However, I couldn’t see the difference in your hair after using them because your hair is very healthy. I’d like to see a similar review on a frizzy damaged hair
Me too ✋
Namiicho has a video on olaplex and she has dyed her hair quite a lot
There is no difference. And my hair is not even that damaged
Heidi has this kinda video on damaged frizzy hair
Me too
"Can't tonight, I'm washing my hair" is actually now going to be true.
Literally how I feel. I do all the steps together 0,3,4,5,6 & 8 and it takes aaaaages, but definitely worth it
It’s been true for 4c hair people
@@mickeyjay3127 from 3c to 4c actually
@@mickeyjay3127 I've got 3a hair and its true for me too
@@notch8716 yup. I've got 3A curls and my wash days take at bare minimum three hours, usually more
I have fully bleached hair and have for several years. Olaplex is a life saver! Not just hype (as I originally wondered). Wonderful review as always thank you!
totally agree!! and thank you! :)
WHICH products of the line are you using? That w/b useful to know LOL
@@darkkstar5647 🙏
WHAT DO U USE
Olaplex is specfically beneficial to people with bleached hair or damage from it. TBH it doesn't do miracles for normal (especially virgin) hair as its not intended for that type of hair
Holy crap, thank you for this! I'm sure this took SO much time to film, edit, etc, so thank you so much.
Thank you for this review, Audrey! Your hair looks amazing!! 🌟
thank you for your amazing products!
I used olaplex for 2 months and now I've got sore inflamed dry patches over my head, any idea why? I've stopped using it and it's clearing up but not what I expect after spending over £100 on haircare!
@@michelleuk4788 Could there be some ingredient you are allercig to?
@@TKopra possibly but I thought it was supposed to be the ultimate, you'd expect it to be hypo - allergenic for that price!
@@michelleuk4788 You can still have a reaction to a hypoallergenic product; it just means that the potential to cause such a reaction is less than in a non-H/A product.
You only need a pea size amount of the shampoo that’s why it’s making your hair oily. I have a really oily scalp and this shampoo works really well for me because I only use a tiny amount. It layers up really well so you don’t actually need loads anyway! X
thanks for the tip
thanks a lot does it even nw work for oily scalp? even i hv oily scalp
She’s using why too much of everything
@@neha.mahajank yes, it works for oily scalp as long as you use the correct amount, a small penny sized amount is perfect!
@@dray2882 HEY thanks a lot xx
No. 6 and 7 never disappoint me. They’re soooo concentrated too! I love everything from Olaplex. My hair is quite dry and damaged, so it really benefits from all their products.
yes! 6 and 7 are amazing
which one would you recommend more 6 or 7 if on its own?
@@amnaothman8352 that’s a hard one, but probably Olaplex 6 since it provides the most nourishment and moisture.
6 & 7 mixed for me is a game changer
Really? Tried but not quite impressed, I feel no differences at all before and after applied TT
As someone who’s used a lot of olaplex, with the oil you can gently knock on the bottom when putting it in the hand to get more control of the amount you get out :)
You don’t need to use a lot of product of the 4 and it spreads well, so next time you try start with a small quarter size in your hand and try to spread it. Only get more if you can’t get it all over the head. My bottle lasted a year
Olaplex has really conditioned my fine, dry, frizzy hair. I used 3, 4.5, and 6 several times. I even have received comments from the staff at work on how shiny and healthy my hair looks.
hi there! can you tell me which one was your favorite?
Is using the 0 before the 3 an absolute must
I loved to see your review in healthy hair. I know it works in damaged hair but I always wondered if it did anything on natural hair! Thank you! Very well done video!
I’ve been using these and just realised I completely used no.8 wrong and hadn’t been able to apply no. 0 fully, can’t wait to try them the way you’ve done. Thank you 😊
This is the best video I’ve seen, that covers everything there is to know about olaplex.
thank you so much !! my editor and I worked hard
Excellent job, Chica! Precisely the knowledge needed to become an informed consumer.
Olaplex 3, 6 & 7 are the best things i’ve ever introduced into my hair routine!
Wich one is good for hair keratin traitement
Nice review and thanks for showing how you're actually using the products.
You have absolutely gorgeous hair too x
I literally just received my Olaplex products. Your review came at the perfect time! Thank you for your detailed video 🥰
I love all the Olaplex products! I already had super healthy hair but once I started using Olaplex I definitely noticed a difference and that my hair was (and is) getting healthier and healthier so I totally get where you are coming from. It really makes a difference for all sorts of damage and all degrees of damage.💗
Hello, I have the same hair situation in having healthy hair but want to try this. Which one did you go for?
@@sabrinanatasha7868 hey! I use no. 3, no. 4, no. 5, no. 6, no. 7, and no. 8. I use all of these together once a week (first no. 3, then no. 4 then no. 5 and no.8 mixed but if you don’t want to mix then just use no. 8 and then I follow up using no. 6 and no. 7) and then if I want to do another day where I just wash my hair with no. 4 and no. 5 then I follow up with no. 6 and no. 7. I’m not too good at explaining but I hope this makes sense!
yep, the olaplex system is amazing, even on already healthy hair
BEST VIDEO! Well done! Better than any I've seen and now I feel like I know what to try & buy! Thank you!
Your hair is beautiful and this is such a great video! Thank you!
Thanks for making this video for people with untreated, thick, straighter hair! Since oil goes through our hair type much faster, I'm always cautious of anything that will make my hair more oily. And air-styling untreated hair is something not too many people do videos on when reviewing hair products - so thanks again!!!
She is using too much of everything… that’s why it’s oily. I love this stuff and I have naturally oily hair and it doesn’t ever look oily after I use it!
I'm sure it also depends on how fine/coarse it is and its porosity
you probably have thin/fine hair if oil goes through your hair type faster
i watched all olaplex reviews befor ordering it on amazon and this was hands down the best one. i really love your chanel .Greetings from frankfurt germany
Perfect timing! I just bought #3 but haven't used it yet.
Needed this review as I've been meaning to buy but didn't know where to start. Thank you, Victoria. 💜
yay! i really hope it was helpful.
LIVING FOR YOUR HAIR TIPSSS💕!
Audrey you're the bestttt honestly your videos are amazing I can't stop watching them 💕
thank you so so much 😭!!
Wow I’m so glad I found this, I had been using 0 and 3 not together, I literally ran to my bathroom and used them together and MIND BLOWN 🤯 my hair is DESTROYED from bleaching at home drunk one time and I left it too long and it’s been so bad and olaplex has saved it. I bought the home set but I also go to the salon twice a month for the treatment there. But you saved me from wasting anymore of the 0 and 3.
You only need a tiny bit of the no 3, it spreads easily. And same for the shampoo. I like to mix my regular, more lightweight shampoo with a small dollop of the Olaplex shampoo. It works better that way, for my fine hair. I only use the Olaplex shampoo like once a week, if even. Really whenever I feel I need it.
Thank you SO much for this! I have been wondering if I should buy olaplex's products, and this video was rlly helpful :)
yay! this video came at a good time!
Out of all the olaplex products, I like 3 and 6 the best. I have the new clarifying shampoo as I use a lot of styling products, and also mix the 6 and 7 together which I find gives a smooth straight blow dry with the heat protection from the oil . Most hair oils are too heavy for me, so I love this oil
Awesome video! Thank you! I wanted to try Oleoplex but didn't know which ones or how too apply so this video was super helpful and you did an amazing job! I can't wait to try this on my heavily damaged hair! Thank you so much!
Explained so well, no repetition and a pleasant voice. Very honest too Based upon Your hair. Which leaves it up to everyone to try them all, just like you and see what works. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
So nice of you, thank you for your kind words!
I love your credibility and trust your opinion and thank you for opening an Arabic translation love you from Kuwait 🇰🇼💗
I have long and straight fine hair and it is super damaged just from brushing and everyday activity. I try my best to protect it (no hair ties, even silk scrunchies and hair sticks hurt my hair, I use a ton of conditioner, hair protecting leave-ins, expensive silk bonnet at night, don't use a towel on it, don't use heat) but I still have a lot of fly-aways and split ends. Many hairdressers have told me how damaged my hair is, how many split ends I have... I know! If I could not touch it I wouldn't! Right now I'm even trying to wash it way less and it's been a greasy experience. I've been waiting for a video this informative on Olaplex and it's really tempting me to try it! I think all my past hairdressers would agree, hahaha. Thank you for all of your simple, extremely helpful tips for hair care and styling. I can't wait to try something new.
I just ordered the kit, and I was concerned that I would be confused about which ones to use and how to use it, but your video was extremely helpful!
This is an awesome video - I’ve been using olaplex for about a year , the way I use the shampoo and conditioner thought is by shampooing twice ; the first wash will clean the second wash is to actually get the product to work the way it is intended - this is how we are taught in cosmetology school to wash hair including our own !
*hint - put zero in a spray bottle and use that way...It's so much easier to use. I leave #3 in my hair for several hours at a time; 10 minutes doesn't seem like enough for me. Olaplex is the only products that prevents my fine hair from getting split ends, and my highlights no longer look frazzled. I LOVE Olaplex!!
According to Olaplex experts, the product stops working after 10 mins so anything after that isn’t doing you any extra benefit.
@@bearsm0m I haven't found anything that says it stops after 10 minutes...can you share sources please?
@@EmiliaJay I heard it only work till it is dry but not sure if it’s correct
@@bearsm0m It keeps working as long as the hair is damp which is why they say you can sleep in it IF wearing a plastic shower cap trapping the moisture in and not drying the hair for as long as possible. It stops working once hair is dry.
There not supposed to be air born according to Abbey Yung
Thank you very much for the detailed explanation of using Olaplex on your own experience.
This is the video I was looking for!!! Thank you
Can I first say that you have some of the most gorgeous hair I've ever seen?! Wow.
This was such an informative video! Thank you for saving me a lot of money. I've been wanting to try Olaplex products but I can't afford to buy them all and I had no idea which ones to start with or what they were supposed to do, I just saw all these numbers and was totally confused. So thank you for clearing that up for me.
My wallet was crying watching her dump those products out in the beginning 🤣
I audibly screamed at her lol "what are you doing!!"
This entire line can easily cost you a whole grand! And she's just dumping it right out!
@@frickfrack7075 a whole grand? i thought they were selling for around $30 each at sephora
@@aishwaryaiyer7796 I got the whole set for $350 but separately it would be well over $500, if she had the 500ml shampoo and conditioners it would be near $1000

Great video! I appreciate the fact that you used the product multiple times and broke down how each set worked best or didn’t for you hair type. I have dyed curly hair and was thinking about only getting #0 and #3, your video solidified my decision
Great video! Very informative, thank you!!
Thank you so much for making this video, it really helped me understand the different versions of these Olaplex products. I blow dry my hair a lot and the hair styling oil is something I really want to try in the near future!
Thanks 4 the review🥰Olaplex #3 is 🏆 wonderful! It does work well on chemically treated hair! 🥰Over time I've seen less breakage!!
Thanks for the vid! I was always confused with olaplex products til now! Purchasing 0 and 3 now ^^
No. 6 and 7 are my favorite. I’m natural but prefer to wear my hair straight. I can do one pass and get great results! I’ll probably keep the other products in my routine to use once a month, it is hard to tell how much of a difference they actually make.
The only way to get rid of split ends is to get them trimmed. Unfortunately even products that claim to prevent split ends or that seal the ends are only a temporary fix
it’s not the only way, you can also twist your hair and cut off the smaller pieces that sticks out. it works great !!
@@lilybuonaiuto4017 that’s cutting them off too though
yes sadly :( will balding my hair helps though? like to 100% prevent it??
Yes but Olaplex will help a lot if u don't want to get it trimmed... thats kind of the point.
Olaplex doesn’t claim to fix split ends. It claims to prevent cystic acid being created in the hair. Which is what causes brittle dry and spit ends. So it prevents them. The hair lasts longer before they appear.
thank you for all your hard work and very clear and honest review.
My hair is exactly like yours and this has helped me so much. I'm so happy I came across your page. TYSM ❤❤
Omg! You’ve used so much shampoo! I only use less than the size of a nickel. I also double wash my hair, and the second time, the foaming is always so incredible!!
No. 6 and 7 r seriously amazing ive been using it forever and my hair looks so gorgeous and healthy
Thanks for this in-depth review. Just order my first no.0 and 3. I have damaged hair! Thanks again
You did a great job in explaining every products thank you
I love this video! Super detailed! Love ittt!! But I felt a twinge of jealously when you said it only takes you 15 minutes to dry your hair!! I got thick 3b hair and this shit takes a good half hour at least lol
Olaplex has been in my rotation for a few years, each time they bring out a new product I try it. I won't buy another of no 0 or no 7 but I will always buy no 3 and no 6. Sometimes I will swap out the shampoo and conditioner for NAK which is a great alternative that is better on the budget and still cruelty-free.
I had brightly coloured hair for years and then when I went blonde (using olaplex in salon) my hair all slowly snapped off from excess straightening and not using good products. Flash forward to regular at home olaplex use and my hair has grown insanely long which has never happened before. Its expensive but it has done wonders for me. I have very thick, curly, very dry, damaged hair.
I am bleach blonde been for years but now out of the blue this year my hair started snapping I've been using olaplex since April/May but not seeing much results, I found it made my hair worse. I started using only no3 once a week and got the Moroccan oil moisture intense moisture. What was your process? Please and thank you
Did your hair gets growing than before ?
This is the first video I watch from you and omg your hair is gorgeous
Thank You! I love the way you actually show how to use the products individually and together! Your hair is beautiful!
I have highlighted hair transitioning to grey. I need all the help I can get. I have been using bumble & bumble repair line. It seems to help but I will try some of the tips you gave. Any suggestions for my specific hair type? Thanks Again!!!
I really enjoyed all your information on olaplaex. You were professional, you didn’t swear and act all immature like some tutorials I just basically turn them off because it’s so irritating! Yours was great! Thank you 😊
yes its all about calling attention to themselves and turn you into an audience for their cutesy cuteness, so irritating and juvenile, even older presenters do it, plus hype it up with music ... so irritating a pet peeve of mine when I just want to learn.
I have used Weedborn CBD products for treatment and I'm finally healthy.
Very informative vid. I always wondered about Olaplex products.
Your hair looks so shiny and soft!
I swear on 0,3,6,7. They are my favorite. I also used the 1 and 2, but they are only professional, and these two are amazing ✨
Would you say if someone only bought two for bleached hair 6+7 would be a better choice? It seems to offer better moisturizing properties...
I use the olaplex no 4 myself and there have been times where it's left my hair oily at the roots but I think that I also noticed that the shampoo is much thicker than usual shampoos and you need to use less because you can kind of water it down as you massage a little bit through your hair. I think this is the one shampoo where I can actually use a "quarter size" and it can cover my entire head but if you use more than that it's too much and leaves a residue. So I've had mixed results depending on how I apply it, but when I use less I have liked how long my hair has remained damage-free.
Right - I have an oily scalp and use a different shampoo on my scalp - oily scalp but tons of curly/wavy hair. I use a gentle clarifying shampoo on my scalp and then Brad Mondo's shampoos and conditioners for the rest of my hair (XMondo) and other similar curly-girl products. :)
Thank you for the detailed review. Made it easy to understand each product
I just had olaplex treatment for my hair and now u posted the video 😩 lots of love
My hair is fine and dense and prone to breakage. I tried No.3 on my relaxed hair and have noticed such an improvement in my hair after 2 uses. I am going to try adding No.6 and No.7 next. 🙂

Great video! I've only tried N.3 and my hair loved it, I would leave it in over night most times before washing and that extra time did make a difference for my very fine, long and knotty hair, BUT... The whole range is so expensive! Which was my only complaint for an otherwise fantastic product.
do you recommend number 3 for thin hair? or number 6?
@@zinabenjelloun9290 I haven't tried N.6 yet but N.3 was really great for my thin hair, I had less breakage and fallout while using it once a week.

Omg thank you🙏💓 i purchased the whole set on friday and was like ig ill find out but this video is so informative
I use 0 and 3 and my hair doesn't look thicker but it definitely looks healthier. I also noticed that my styling doesn't hold (waves) but my goal was treatment and make sure my hair is healthy. I think I'll buy a product that might help to hold the styling.
The shampoo is very concentrated so try using way less. This will decrease the oiliness you felt afterwards. The same thing happened to me and now I love it. Also use less conditioner.

This Olaplex system is amazing!!! I'm so here for it!
Olaplex needs a two wash shampoo to actually feel/be clean (like a lot of professional shampoo do) but some people do tend to get buildup so alternating between two shampoo can be beneficial:)
hi Audrey! I have a video suggestion
If you haven't yet, could you possibly make a guide about different shampoos and how they'll help your hair? You could just put a list of shampoo and discuss what they're good for. For example, one for curly hair, one for puffy hair, one for flyaways etc. I've been trying to find the right shampoo for my hair but I can't find anything that works. Hopefully you see this comment and I don't sound stupid
