No. 0 & No. 3 made the most drastic difference in my hair. Even though I don't heat style, my hair still gets UV damage. I have virgin hair, sleep with a silk pillowcase, hardly ever wear my hair in a tight ponytail...but I still get split ends like a mofo. Just saying, it's not only for those who bleach or use heat tools. It's a miracle for ANYONE with damaged hair!!!
Hey I had chemical rebonding done & thermal damage too , will these products prevent hair breakage ? Also are they chemical laden , will that not effect in long run ?
I'm happy to read this. I don't color or style my hair with heat so you'd think it would be healthy, but I have split ends up to my ears! I refuse to chop off all my hair, though. (It's waist length.) So I bought No. 0 and No. 3 to see if it helps any. It was so hard to convince myself to spend $60 on something that I wasn't sure would help. This makes me feel a little better.
Olaplex is extra confusing when someone posts (usually on Instagram or TikTok) their tip/hack that is polar opposite to what the bottle says and olaplex comments something like “Yes! 🥰 ✨ we love this hack” and it’s like what
Excellent explanation/presentation. I too realize I was using #0 and #3 wrong. I love the suggestion for ##6,7 curly hair if wearing straight or if pref. curly. Thank for posting 🥰
I have afro hair, combination 3/4 bc, and have been using olaplex since I had heat damage from silk pressess. I have noticed minimal shedding which I'm grateful for. I love the hack about pre shampooing, especially for afro hair to remove product build up to get max benefits. I also use a medicated shampoo so this have enables me to use both without stripping my hair after applying number 0 and 3. Ps loving your earrings and top.
Olaplex has literally reformed my hair. Ive been doing my own bleaching for years and my hair is no longer dry or brittle. Instant change after my first applications!! I will splurge on these products to keep my hair this soft and pretty! ❤️❤️
Okay now I get it with why to use these products yet only if I do a bayalage hair coloring for blonde bc I am a level 3 so no problems unless I use bleach then I start having an issue with dryness. Thanks for your opinion 😃
Hey I had chemical rebonding done & thermal damage too , will these products prevent hair breakage ? Also are they chemical laden , will that not effect in long run ?
I used the Olaplex # 6 in my hair and let it air dry and i was amazed! I have a a bit of a waive in my hair , so when i used this product it kept the shape of the wave intact with no frizz. I highly recommend if you air dry your hair and do not want it straight.
I have been wanting to buy the whole entire treatment and things to this video I brought it today I have used a couple of their products and I love them so thank you so much for the information!!
Thanks so much for putting this out! This helped a literal time. Olaplex products can be confusing and they don't explain all of this on the box or bottles 😍👍
I am gonna consider these tbh. Primarily for the UV damage, because I am trying to age gracefully, hair included ❤ THAT NAIL COLOR THO. It's everything 😍
I just purchased and used 0 and 3 yesterday. I wish I had seen your video. I applied it wrong. According to the directions it says to apply 0 to dry hair. I used half of the bottle! Then I waited 10 minutes and applied 3 and left on over an hour. I then washed and conditioned my already dry hair. My hair looked worse. Flyaways and frizz! Thanks to your video I will first wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo and follow your instructions. Hopefully I will have better results. Thanks so much for your video👌👍😚
Put your hair in a bun on top of your hair and then place the nozzle of #0 into your bun. Squeeze the bottle and your bun so that it begins to saturate the hair. This is the best way to distribute it throughout the hair.
I followed your advice on #0 and #3 since you posted your last Olaplex video and it really worked on my bleached hair.. But this is a perfect summary video!
I bought 6 and 7 a couple days ago and I was speechless. I used very little product, and im talking VERY. LITTLE. Yet the result was WONDERFUL. I still cant believe it.
My short, super (professionally) bleached hair can take on 6 drops of the oil. So, listen to your hair. If your hair is oily, use less. If your hair seems thirsty, use more. You’ll find the right amount for you.
I love this video so much. I have the whole line of Olaplex, I realized I’ve been using 0 & 3 totally wrong. I will try these suggestions for better results 🥰
I use the shower cap method, but I wash my hair in the morning, use number 0 leave 10 min, then number 3, then I leave the number 3 in my hair form morning till as late as night as possible every 1,5 weeks, my hair feels and looks amazing, super shiny and healthy Oh and I always use number 6 and 7 together after every shower!
Hey Audrey I love u so much plz post another hair video soon ik ur posting shorts but I’m dying here I love ur hair vids xx much love from England 🏴 ❤️
Tips are good. If you shampoo your hair prior to using 0 and 3 you should wait until you hair is fully dry. If your hair is wet then 0 may not fully penetrate your strands because of the water. Apply 0, put on a plastic cap, wait at least 10 minutes, apply 3, then put the plastic cap back on.. proceed as normal
A curly girl here! Just a note about the olaplex 7 dupes Olaplex 7 uses silicone that are water soluble, if im not mistaken, so they don't build up, but the ogx oil uses insoluble silicone which can develop dry brittle hair over long time use and hair loss.
Your videos are so great, especially this one, you really explained every product so well, thank you so much, because of you I will know what product to buy for my hair😍❣️🤗
Thank you so much👍you look so nice in that top. I appreciate the dupes, l can’t afford these but I did buy #2 or #3 a couple years ago. I don’t think I used it right . If anyone knows how to stop hair loss and or balding please lmk 😊I have to wear a hat or scarf because I’m so embarrassed by the bald spots. I’m pretty sure it’s not alopecia. Thank you again everyone🫶 Also if you can’t afford the clarifying shampoo vinegar & baking soda mix with a mild shampoo works great. 👍😊
I have yet to try the olaplex # 6 and 7 but I have definitely tried the ogx penetrating oil & I absolutely love it after learning how to use it. Not only does it smell great. I love applying it to my hair & my hair is adapting to it really well ❤ It has been part of my holy grail. I have tried the shampoo & conditioner of olaplex before I just wished I knew more about this back then 😢 Thank u so much for all the info I have not tried the elvive but I have been trying the ogx tea tree mint shampoo & conditioner & it has been amazing on my hair. I was supposedly trying to buy the aveeno greens blend but we were out of those in the store so I tried ogx instead. Either way it worked out regardless
Olaplex can be confusing for starters like me 😢but you be put it so clearly a bigggg help What’s great is your voice which makes it enjoyable , Most of th em are sooo nasal
Hi, thanks for this super helpful video! I noticed the neutrogena anti-residue shampoo is now discontinued. Do you have any alternatives you would recommend?
@@shatemawhite9365 Hi! N°.0 can be used on cleansed hair, this allows OLAPLEX to have a fresh canvas to work on! We do recommend applying N°.0 onto dry hair and then following up with N°.3!
Thank you, great video ! How often in a week do we use the #0 and #3 and also #6 and #7. PS: I wash my hair every morning as it is very thin and when I wake I literally look like a cockatiel ! lol

Maybe try using heat protection! Even the sun can damage your hair ❤

Just a note about the olaplex 7 dupes Olaplex 7 uses silicone that are water soluble, if im not mistaken, so they don't build up, but the ogx oil uses insoluble silicone which can develop dry brittle hair over long time use and hair loss.
Which oil? The Ogx Moroccan Argan oil?
@@tf2348 yea that one
That's not the only reason silicone is "bad" - silicone can build up on the scalp and clog follicles which can stunt growth.
@@LillyBunnyBoo yes but that can be avoided with a good clarifying routine
I really don't understand... Just wash your hair with a good shampoo
