    Update* just used this morning and OMG my hair is so soft and looks awesome! Like I said I’ve been gradually going blonde and my hair started feeling dry and brittle. With just one use there is such a big difference. Can’t wait to see more improvement. No frizz and no fly always. Thanks again! ❤️

    Hallelujah! This was the perfect video. It was precise, succinct, informative and entertaining-and the last 2 don't always come hand in hand. And thank you for not having anything in the background distracting the viewer from the focal point. You were articulate and MATURE, with no evidence of ignorance about this product. You were so direct and straight to the point while relaying a bucket of details. And thank you for summarizing the product sequence during application. I subscribed to your channel specifically for your use of both verbal and visual demonstration and the actual directions written to the left and right of your reenactment of the process. I treated myself to to these products as an early birthday gift and was not confident in execution of any of these products until coming across your video. Well done, and thank you!

    Please don't ever sleep with the product on your hair this is how you will get hair breakage and olaplex advices against this as well. Please follow directions if you want the best outcome for your hair and skin remember all products are chemicals. Wet hair is fragile hair. ❤

    I have severely damaged my hair in the last month using the Dyson Airwrap😫 (Due to user-error I’m sure!) After deciding to accept my defeat, I returned the Airwrap and purchased the Supersonic instead. I came across this video and decided to purchase the Olaplex products you recommended. Yesterday, I put the baby down for a nap and followed your step by step guide pausing and rewinding throughout. This was perfect for an extreme novice when it comes to anything hair! You are amazing! After following your instructions, I went to your blow-out video and you helped me in so many ways there as well! I definitely need some practice but my hair is bouncy and the Olaplex process gave me some amazing results. My before and after photos are pretty amazing! Thank you so much for your detailed explanations and easy to follow guides!

    The number of applications: I wash my hair once every 5-10 days; this would mean if I had very damaged hair, I’d be using Olaplex EVERYTIME I WASH! In addition, my medium density waist-length would go thru a bottle of #0 and #3 in two-three applications! Sometimes I can make #8 last 3 washes…. I loved your vid! But I wish you’d clarify between times per week vs. times per wash sessions. Us long, thick-ish gals usually don’t wash frequently…. If we have healthy/ color-treated hair 😂 I use Olaplex about once every 2 months. Yes, it is a pain in the ass 😂 But you’re right about 6! My level 1 hair turns bouncy and voluminous as f*ck…. And I LOVE the UV protection and feel of my hair after 7! But 1,3, & 8 run out SO QUICKLY!
    Thank you for this vid! But I’d LOVE to see a demo on long hair. If you need a volunteer…. 😂

    Great video. I have hair similar to yours and have been using the 4 and 5 but the day after washing my hair it seems like it’s coated in something - do you think it’s because of what you said about the shampoo being too heavy for finer hair?

    • @StylesBySummer
      @StylesBySummer  3 года назад +2

      Possibly! I would opt to only use both 4 and 5 on a weekly to twice a week basis. Not sure how often you wash your hair. I do my Olaplex run through usually on Sunday nights bc I'm off on Mondays, so any possible heaviness I might get is not an issue.

    Hey there. Your vedio popped up in my RUclips feed. Could you please help me out with choosing the right products? My hair is natural. No color, no bleach. My natural hair type 1C low porosity. I do have to blow dry some and I do curl it some times. It is dry. I don't want to use silicones that are not water soulutable. Do you know of anything that would be good for my hair? Which would be best out of living proof or oplax? I've heard that some people have trouble with their hair being more dry and falling out with oplax. If you would help me out here I would highly appreciate your expert advice. Thanks

      It's very important to use #8 with the other Olaplex products. Olaplex is mostly made of of strengthening/repairing products that often will not leave your hair feeling soft as much as others. That's why #8 is important to add in because it is more moisturizing and will balance out the repairing aspect of the other products. Olaplex is going to be a better choice if you're looking to repair your hair. If you are looking for more moisture I am not really familiar with any of living proofs moisturizing products. But Olaplex 8 you can not go wrong with!

    Can it help hair loss?(never bleached my hair)

    • @StylesBySummer
      @StylesBySummer  3 года назад

      It's not that it will stop hair loss, but the products will build strength and help prevent breakage which would help with less hair lost. But if you've never bleached you hair you are probably not experiencing as much breakage as one who lightens their hair on a more regular basis.

      I would try prepping with a clarifying shampoo if you have not done one before? I like Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2 or Kristin Ess Clarifying. Both aren't to harsh. And I would recommend using something a touch more moisturizing than Olaplex. It is a great line but those who need desperate moisture it can lack. Redken Allsoft is great for moisture, Moroccan Oils Hydrate as well. Pravana's Polish and Reunite is one of my fav styling products to for manageability!

    do you also use the 6 and 7 the time you use 8? or is that not necessary?
