Hi! We love seeing your feedback! You are absolutely right, No.3 is not a conditioner. No.3 is a repair and strengthening treatment to be used prior to shampooing! No.8 is our Intense Moisture Mask for those needing a deep conditioner! Thank you so much for sharing! Your support means the world to us!
Thank you so much! Do you all have a PR contact? I have a few product questions that I would love your feedback with. My email is ulovemegzbusiness@gmail.com
That'll be me! This product review vs others, has convinced me to try this asap. My hair is cotton soft and fine and is thinning so much. I want to invest in products that will help me strengthen my hair.
#0 and #3 pretty much serve to replace #1 and #2, which are only to be used by professionals (can’t by purchased by unlicensed consumers). 0 acts as a primer for #3. Technically you can use #3 on its own, but if you’ve never had #1 and 2 done in the salon I highly recommend doing 0 with it. #3 was originally made for people to maintain the effects of #1 and 2 at home; hence the number order. Hope this helps!
I have natural 4c hair that had gotten very brittle and was breaking from using hair gels that causes drying and damage because of alcohol in it. I got all of the Olaplex products except for the oil. Here’s my feedback. No 0 isn’t a protein based product it’s like a primer to help No 3 to be even more effective. No 3 is the hair repair treatment that intensely repairs hair damage. I followed the instructions and did not deviate and after the first use I started to see less breakage. I have been using it now on a weakly basis for three weeks and my breakage has been reduced unbelievably. For extras conditioning if needed even after the Olaplex leave in conditioner I will use a conditioner design for my hair porosity but add a few drops of lemon juice in it to improve the ph level that my 4c hair needs. My understanding is that the active ingredient in Olaplex line is bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate which is a form of acid used to repair damage done to the hair. Olaplex has a small amount of protein but isn’t a protein treatment. It’s an acid bonding treatment and with acids you need to follow instructions on proper use. I recommend Olaplex…. It hasn’t made my 4c curls curlier or more bouncy but has drastically and dramatically improved the strength of my hair and stopped hair breakage which will allow for growth and length. Yes it’s pricey but I am not skimping on the price as my hair needs it. I highly recommend Olaplex for my 4c sisters
I think some misunderstand the 0 and 3. You have to use the 0 first leave in for 10 minutes. After it’s been 10 minutes then apply the 3 on top of it without rinsing the 0 out. Leave that on for 10 minutes. After that 10 minutes your hair/curls are popping. Then you use your 4 and 5. 0 and 3 are always before washing.
@@jennalud4748 you should definitely detangle your hair first 0 and 3 are not detanglers. I don’t have 4C hair (3C) but the conditioner or mask (5 and 8) could help with detangling. But again you really should try to detangle as much as possible before wetting/washing your hair. Your hair is weakest when it’s wet.
Last year I watched this video trying to figure out if I should buy it. The video ended up giving me the push. My hair is thriving because of this brand! Thanks Meg!!
Olaplex uses a patented technology throughout the range; it is not protein. Numbers 0 and 3 work together as part of the at-home range. You apply number 3 ten minutes after applying number 0. Do not rinse 0 from your hair before applying 3. Apply 3 with 0 still in your hair. They work together as a pre-shampoo stand alone treatment. They are the home versions of the professional number 1 and 2 treatments used at the salon. Of all the home based products, number 3 has the highest concentration of the technology. Olaplex recently made the home version of number 1, which is number 0, available for home use. Number 1 has the highest percentage of the technology in the salon. It is used as a pre-shampoo treatment with number 2 by salon professionals. The oil also has the technology, but less of it. There's no real need to add it to number 3. Just like the professional number 2, at-home version number 3 can be used alone to mitigate damage from relaxers or color jobs. or other hair processes that could potentially damage hair. There is lots of information about how the Olaplex system works online, especially the stand-alone treatment.
Olaplex is the GOAT. It saved my hair years ago after colouring (I am relaxed and the bleach took out my whole crown area). Sigh. My hairdresser at the time used 2 (only professionals can purchase) and the difference was immediate and significant. That's when I started using 3 (available to all). It is a staple in my arsenal. Never seen anything like it. Wasn't impressed with 0, 4 or 5. Getting to know 6. I also love Keracare Humecto.
They say 0 and 3 should be used together as a two-step treatment. What didn't you like about 0? I literally purchased everything except the shampoo and conditioner (4 and 5) My $4 Tresemme from Target will do 😭💛
@@Ashley-og9ti I found that the complete system made my hair more stronger much more to control and less breakage!! My relax hair was severely over processed 😡
Hi. I love Olaplex No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5. I use them 1 week post relaxer. Also, if I can't get Olaplex, I use the Creame of Nature Plex Breakage Defense System. It's a bond builder system as well. It's cheaper and it's for relaxed hair.
Hey, boo! With 0, I pair it with No.3, the difference is night and day when they’re used together for me! My curls are more vibrant after my styling process!
@@samanthan3740 I just layer 0 and 3 together. I wet my hair, coat my hair with 3 then spray 0 in and left it sit for like 15 minutes then wash my hair
No. 0 isn't for stand-alone use, from what I read before I used it. No. 0 is to be used before No. 3 if you want to boost the No. 3. No. 3 can be used alone, but No. 0 shouldn't be used alone. I think I can do without the No. 0, also., because my hair isn't damaged. That shampoo? LAWD that is AMAZING. It is crazy how a little dot of it explodes into so much suds and slip!
I should add that I have been using No 0, 3, 4, and 5 (about three times in the last three months). Background info: I am natural and I used henna (and indigo) over the past four to five years for strength and shine (indigo to not look like Bozo the Clown...lol). But my gray hair is becoming more prominent and I want to rock it, so I needed to find something that would do what the lawsone in henna does for my hair. Olaplex was my first try at something to accomplish my mini-hair goal. I think it's going to be a permanent part of my hair regimen, reducing my "stash" to very few, but very effective products.
@@lblack1961 May I ask you for your opinion? Do you think henna and olaplex achieve the same effect on the hair? Or would you say that one performs better than the other? Thanks in advance.

No. 0 has the highest dose of the patented Olaplex molecule (higher than no. 3 even). It's best to use it together with no.3 So after applying no.0 and waiting 10 minutes, apply no.3 :)
I loooove, love the Olaplex system! I’m natural but I use heat weekly. My hair is so healthy. Yes, it’s pricey, but it works very well. In regards to 0, I spray my hair with water first and then add 0.
@@StephiOQ Hi, when I originally started using Olaplex, my hair was damaged. I didn’t want another big chop, so I slowly cut my hair and used the products twice a week. The full line was used along with Keracare dry itchy scalp shampoo and conditioner. Currently, I have no damage. I will trim without hesitation. On wash day, I spritz my hair with warm water and put a plastic cap on. I basically revert back to a curly state. This allows me to see my curls. After 10mins or so, I apply #0.. I wait 10mins and apply #3. I typically go from 10mins or longer depending how busy I am. I shower and use keracare dry itchy shampoo and conditioner. I leave the conditioner on for a while, but at least 30. Then rinse, I apply Enjoy leave in. It serves as a heat protectant for me. Then I mix Olaplex #6 and the oil and apply all over. I detangle and separate. Blow dry in sections. I allow my hair to cool off between sections. Once blow dried, I wrap in a satin scarf and curl within a day or so. I typically wash weekly, but if needed, I will wash twice a week. No more.
Thank you for the information on number 3. I’m using it on my daughter’s hair and my own. This morning my daughter’s hair looked beautiful she didn’t notice but I noticed a difference.
See for me, #0 is my hero. I use it alone. Totally corrects my porosity problem, volumizes my fine stands and stops breakage....O is a staple for life!!!!!!!! Add it to my color, no breakage or brittleness. It's the bomb for me. Since zero works soooooo well, for me I'll try the full line one day. It's just so pricy, pricy but I'm worth it, right? LOL!!
I think it’s crazy how you just posted this I just got a relaxer yesterday and I was looking into all the Oaplex and you came right up! The timing could not have been more perfect. I think I’m going to pick up 0,3,6 and 8
The 0 is very good, it works better when you put the 3 over it. After the total of 20mins, your hair becomes soft and smooth, it just melts in perfectly. Number 8 is crazy moisture. I think my staple is 0,3,4,8,6, and 7. I love olaplex because it detangles my hair, every one of their products melts in sooo well.
Listen, Amazon sent me no 4 and 5 in error. They were like keep it or throw it away. My word I forgot I had it. And it's the bigger bottles too. 8.5 OZ's each!!! I'm going to try it.
This was a great thorough review. I’ve been seeing a lot of people talk about this brand but wasn’t sure if it was worth it. I will now consider testing some of the products.
I have been using Olympics for 2 years yes you're right it's saved my hair also I have a relaxer with Grey hair my hair is so healthy that I can't keep people hands out of my hair.. I have the hold line
This is a really good review. I picked up 0,3, and 4 today and used them. I am very happy with the results! Definitely going back for the rest of the line.
Olaplex 0 with Number 3 works on a microscopic level. This is not a protein treatment. I advise getting in contact with a representative from Olaplex in order to better understand what role each step plays.
I was just in Sephora and was staring at the products, but it was the price that turned me away lol. After watching your review, I’m going back for them 😂 I AM SOLD!
Number 0 is a primer for 3, it's not meant to be used alone.. for me, 3 works better with 0. I notice a difference in my hair when I used them both together, although 3 can be used on it's own. Number 8 is cool but it's not moisturizing enough for me, but I do feel like it makes my hair strong. I use 8 once a month when needed..
Oh wow! I didn't expect to hear your thoughts on this from a Fine Naturals perspective. I wasn't really thinking of using the line before but I'm definitely going to give it a try now. Thank you for your amazing review! 🙌🏾
Hi Megz! Looking great as usual. Ive been relaxed for almost 2 weeks after being natural for almost 5 yrs. Thanks to you I am now on Sephora looking to buy Olaplex products. Love your videos!
I love olaplex but bc I'm on a tight budget, I haven't repurchased since it ran out and honestly can tell a huge difference from stopping, my hair is so dry. P.S. I think number 0 works really well and even enhances number 3!
Great video! I was at Sephora last Friday to purchase olaplex number 3, when the associate asked me if I had tried zero. I told her I had, but I had bad luck as it seemed to dry my hair out. She told me to wet my hair and try again. So, I clarified my hair then I put olaplex 0 for 10 minutes and olaplex 3 for another 10 minutes. Let me tell you, my hair feels wonderful! I had totally given up on zero, and now I am back to using it. Your hair looks great! Those are my goals! ❤🙋🏽♀️
I brought the No. 0 and 3 last month and I didn't notice any changes when I used them together. I kinda felt disappointed. I did reach out to customer service to ask questions and I am going to give Olaplex another chance. This time I am going to use the No. 3 alone and purchase the other products you mentioned in the video. I did make the decision to relaxed my hair after being natural for 7 years (I needed a change!). My hair just needs some moisture and strengthening. Thank you for uploading your honest review of Olaplex.
Yea me too! I didn’t see or feel a difference to where I would purchase 0 again even with using it as a system. yes change is needed sometimes! Congratulations on your new hair journey!
0 is meant to be used with number 3. 0 goes first, you don't wash it out after it's process time, you go right in with number 3 and have sit for the time set, and then rinse and shampoo out. It is like the professional version of 1-2. So that is probably why you felt like 0 was doing nothing for you. And no number 3 isn't a conditioner, so it should not be used after you wash your hair like you would with a mask. Nor is it a protein treatment for those that think that's what she means by strengthening. It's relinking bonds. Not just filling in gaps like proteins are known for.
I’ve been using this for my bleached hair and it’s protected it from breaking off. My coworkers compliment how “fast” my hair has grown. It’s really just not breaking off now
You are so cute and sweet and honest, thank you SO MUCH for this review! I just got heavy highlights and I’m looking into taking the plunge with this line😁
Back when Olaplex first came out I use to think it was for blondes only smh… boy was I wrong! 😅 Just ordered the kit from Sephora because I need my relaxed hair to grow chile! Lmao
I started with just Olaplex #3 and it is was a miracle worker for me after the first use. If you don’t buy anything else buy #3 and use it before you shampoo. I have also incorporated Olaplex #6 as it’s a leave in bond smoother and Olaplex #7 the bonding oil into my routine. I only use #3 once a week.
Olaplex said heat is NOT necessary it doesn't hurt but it doesn't help the process any better by going under a dryer, just put plastic cap on for the suggested time. #0 have the highest concentration of their patented product. They suggest if you could only get a few step use #0 and 3.
Yes No 3 is all that. I have thin hair plus it was damaged from color and relaxer. The first time I used this, I felt a small difference and after 3 I could tell it was really working. The price is crazy, but it is worth it. I am thinking about adding some more from line so thank you for this share.
I am a natural and I have been using some of olaplex hair products. I notice a change in my hair that I love. I will definitely try some other products after I watch the video. You look so so beautiful.
So glad I popped on here. I just got Olaplex 3,4,5&7. Sittin in no.3 now so excited for this wash. Thank you for the review was so helpful❤️ and now I know I need 6&8 🤣🤷🏼♀️
Be careful using the conditioner for longer than it says. You’re over processing your hair when you do that. If the gives a certain timeframe it’s for a reason. Also, Olaplex is not a protein treatment. This is a bond treatment which works on the bonds that literally on the inside of the hair strands. Aphogee is a protein treatment which only works on the outside of your hair strands. Sorry nerd over here.
Hello, hope you are well. I’m new to relaxers (3 weeks). I noticed after week 2 my hair started shedding/breaking without even having to comb it. Someone suggested Aphogee 2 step treatment for protein. Do you know if that‘s a good idea or if Olaplex would be a better option. Thank you.
@@bijaii oh geez. I’ve heard of that once with my friend before. The hairdresser didn’t wash it out on throughly. I’m not saying that for sure with you hair but anything could be the culprit. It could’ve been too strong for your hair too. Idk you may need to see a doc or prof hairdresser but Olaplex can’t hurt but protein could if that’s not what your hair needs. Protein could cause it to become more brittle and break.
@@21cherice thank you. I think I’d try Olaplex first before trying protein. I just noticed all the products I’m currently using has some sort of protein in it, so it might be the issue. I’ll switch them and observe. Thank you for responding. I appreciate it.

No more.
@@dadmomand3 thanks for taking the time!
No. 0 and No. 3 together works better as an intensive reparative treatment. You put on wet hair and you put no. 3 on top of no. 0 for better results.
Thank you for the information on number 3. I’m using it on my daughter’s hair and my own. This morning my daughter’s hair looked beautiful she didn’t notice but I noticed a difference.
Yesss with consistency the results really show up beautifully!
Started using olaplex 3 to stop excessive shedding. Amazing from day 1! I am relaxed. I agree 0 was not a neccesity.
Do you feel like it has stopped the shedding for you?
Good question. Does it stop breakage and shedding for you?
The no. 0 has to be used in combination with no.3. It works amazing together!
I didn’t see a big difference at all 🥴😂
@@ulovemegz Nothing really funny here For Differnt people can be different results ✌🏽
It’s so good! You won’t regret it
I have been using Olympics for 2 years yes you're right it's saved my hair also I have a relaxer with Grey hair my hair is so healthy that I can't keep people hands out of my hair.. I have the hold line
This is a really good review. I picked up 0,3, and 4 today and used them. I am very happy with the results! Definitely going back for the rest of the line.
I’m definitely going to be buying the entire line for myself and my mom who is natural and I’m relaxed. I needed this review
Olaplex 0 with Number 3 works on a microscopic level. This is not a protein treatment. I advise getting in contact with a representative from Olaplex in order to better understand what role each step plays.
this is the best review of Olaplex I've seen so far ❣❣❣
I think it's the cut that really did the trick. U always take care of ur hair but a good cut will thicken things right up
I have followed your channel for years. Your product suggestions have helped me grow my hair. This review is sooo helpful. Thank you Meg!!
I was just in Sephora and was staring at the products, but it was the price that turned me away lol. After watching your review, I’m going back for them 😂 I AM SOLD!
Same was going to do it then after 2 mins of this video I changed my mind 😅
😂😂😂
Dont its a waste
I love the way Olaplex smells.. it has a nice fresh scent. I wish ALL hair products smelled like that!
This is one of the best reviews I’ve watched definitely going to pick up some
I love this brand and I'm hoping their formula never changes or gets discontinued because everytime I find something that works it gets discontinued.
All facts! I feel the same way when I find something I like for hair, skin care etc.
I mix the oil with the leave in #6. The smell is divine but not overwhelming.
Yessss I loveeee the smell also.
I gotta try that!
@@hiimniasha A few drops of oil, goes a long way! And it’s not heavy or greasy.
Oh wow! I didn't expect to hear your thoughts on this from a Fine Naturals perspective. I wasn't really thinking of using the line before but I'm definitely going to give it a try now. Thank you for your amazing review! 🙌🏾
Hi Meg,
Usually I mix the #6 with a drop of rosehip oil. LIFE CHANGING!!!!!!!! If anyone has relaxed hair they should use Olaplex...my opinion!!!!
Hi Megz! Looking great as usual. Ive been relaxed for almost 2 weeks after being natural for almost 5 yrs. Thanks to you I am now on Sephora looking to buy Olaplex products. Love your videos!
Oooh niceee. Congratulations on your new hair journey! Yes olaplex will have you right!
You won’t regret it! It’s been great for me as a relaxed person who was formerly natural. My daughter is natural and uses Olaplex too.
I just purchased No. 0 and No. 3 but was a little leary of using. Your video was very helpful.
Great review. I will definitely be trying. Hair is shedding and edges thin.
I’ve had issues with some shedding also because my hair gets super dry. Olaplex saved my hair many of times!
I saw it in ULTA today & decided to research it more before buying. After this video I went and bought 3, 4 & 5. Great video!!
Yes!! Zero is used right before 3! 💙
Wow I'm first for once. Watching since your first video. Love olaplex!
Thank you so mucccch!
I miss the vlogs you use to do with your sister.. they were so funny
Thank youuuu
@@ulovemegz OG's remember ASHLEE
Those were great and funny! Loved how they bonded (pun intended) and how Ashlee helped with Meg's relaxer!
I just wanted to say you left the best review. I’m so glad I stumbled across your page. You’re awesome, cute and funny! Thanks the tips!
I’ve been using this for my bleached hair and it’s protected it from breaking off. My coworkers compliment how “fast” my hair has grown. It’s really just not breaking off now
You’re looking beautiful and your hair looks thicker❤️
Just ordered mine! I’ve tried it before but not continuously, so I’m going to start using it every wash and see what happens
You are so cute and sweet and honest, thank you SO MUCH for this review! I just got heavy highlights and I’m looking into taking the plunge with this line😁
Sis! Olaplex is the truthhh!!🤍🖤 Glad you love it, too.
Thank youuuu 🤗
Omg!! I love you relaxed creators supporting each other!!
Back when Olaplex first came out I use to think it was for blondes only smh… boy was I wrong! 😅 Just ordered the kit from Sephora because I need my relaxed hair to grow chile! Lmao
You and prettywitty77 could pass for sisters 😍
Hi, I was just wondering what you thought of olaplex for hair growth. Did it work for you? ❤️
I’ve been influenced, I will be buying the entire line.
I'll be trying this asap! Sending to my mum too.
Great review! Can we please get a makeup tutorial on this look?!
with the moisture mask i use another deep conditioner on my roots and use these indian hair oils and aloe powder in a bottle on my roots and ends
Meg I was hypnotized by your jewelry the whole video. What brand is it?
Ana Luisa
Olaplex is the truth!!! I just started using this product once a week and my hair is extremely healthy now. It’s totally worth it.
Did you buy all of it or certain numbers?
I started with just Olaplex #3 and it is was a miracle worker for me after the first use. If you don’t buy anything else buy #3 and use it before you shampoo. I have also incorporated Olaplex #6 as it’s a leave in bond smoother and Olaplex #7 the bonding oil into my routine. I only use #3 once a week.
Your hair is coming along beautifully, and l keep seeing this product pop up so am grateful for your review, if l ever decided to grow my hair 💖
Aw thank you so much! Yes, this product is sooo good.
Aw thank youuuu and thank you for sharing!
As a natural, what products do you recommend from them as the most useful
So glad I popped on here. I just got Olaplex 3,4,5&7. Sittin in no.3 now so excited for this wash. Thank you for the review was so helpful❤️ and now I know I need 6&8 🤣🤷🏼♀️
Hows the 3 working for you? Any noticeable difference?
I think you need to apply the #0 whit the #3 both together as a pre poo.
Could you tell us what oils you’d recommend to mix with conditioners 🙏🏾
This is a great video! I love the cut always for the close ups of the products! Would love a makeup video on this look!
Don’t apologize. We love science.
Thank youuuu! That is very true! For myself I noticed the best results extending the time five through ten minutes.
The number 0 opens the hair cuticles and prep the hair for the #3. I don't use #3 without out using #0, water don't work as well.
You’re supposed to use 0 and 3 together love to get the best results
Meg we need an updated makeup routine pleaseee ❤
Can we talk about the quality of the video?
I was just thinking about getting this line. This video is my sign. Lol
Thank youuuu! 🤗 yesss give it a try
Wow people still get relaxers, but I will definitely try Olaplex now that I’ve watched this video. I’ve always been curious to how it works on African American hair.
My stylist just recommended this since I have color on my natural hair. I picked this up today and I can't wait to try it. Thanks for the video, Meg!
What did you use to lay your hair down on this video? I’m looking for a product that actually slicks my hair back.
Olaplex is a game changer for me. Hands down!
Great video. I was thinking of picking this up to try. I'm sold!
Thanks for your suggestions; I will give them a try!
I've been wanting to try these for the longest! Thanks for reviewing the entire line.
I was just on the Sephora website wondering if I should try this out! Perfecting timing, thanks for the review! I am natural now.
Niceeee! It works great on natural hair
Excellent review. I just purchased 3,4, 5. After your review, I need to get 6 and 7. Can you share if you use edge control? Thank you.
My hair is natural (uncoloured/un-relaxed) but fragile due to various factors. I'm slowly becoming an Olaplex Stan.
I was just on Sephora’s website looking at these products after seeing them on TikTok, abs today your review popped up 😱 Thank you for sharing your feedback!
I bought the line from Sephora and I had bought it 3 or 4 months ago and I just used last week. After I used I put a black rinse in my hair and my hair feel soft and strong. I love it but I haven’t used the oil yet
WOOOOOW I never knew you went back to relaxing 😭😭😭😭 let me catch up omg !!
Omg thank you first and foremost you are gorgeous and the bomb for your honesty. I’ve watched other videos and they seem like they are being paid. I just started using olaplex n I too was conflicted with the small bottles and price tags as I am use to Paul Mitchell kera care etc bigger bottles. I do have a question how do u feel about #9??
