You are on point about these Joico hair products. I have alopecia and was looking for a trichologist in the NYS area who specializes in black hair loss. I found a black trichologist in NYC and when I went to her website, she had a list of hair products that she recommends that will help people with alopecia and other hair issues and the Joico products you are currently using are the ones that she recommends for her clients. I haven't gone to her yet as I live in upstate NY and have to move around getting time off from work but happy she suggested products for people to use.
Oh wow! That's so awesome! I'm happy to hear that you're on your way to finding solutions for your hair and to have a trichologist who knows their stuff!!!!
As a fellow fine haired relaxed gal I’ve switched to using the Joico defy damage shampoo and conditioner then DC with the Joico moisture balm. I’ve fought with my relaxed hair a lot but came to realize that due to me being relaxed my hair is automatically damaged no matter how healthy I treat it. Using the defy damage line has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced my breakage (which I foolishly thought was shedding), my hair is much healthier too
JOICO IS THAT GIRL. They’re not extremely expensive, but the quality!!!! Definitely there!! I love their shampoo (moisture recovery)! the moisture recovery conditioner is a blessing too! Though I didn’t love it for my curly natural hair as it could do with a be more slip, but once I get into my straight natural back it’ll deffo be my conditioner of choice! It’s lightweight and moisturising which is perfect for a straight natural routine without having to use olaplex
Another soldier lost to the creamy crack. Yes, y'all, I had to turn back to the crack. My natural hair was fun; I learned a lot about hair and its needs, what my hair likes and doesn't like. Having natural hair was a learning experience, and one I'm grateful for. But now it's time to move on, which brings me to Meg and learning more about taking care of my relaxed hair and getting tips and hair care product recommendations. So I will most definitely try out Joico and see how my hair reacts to it. Meg, your hair is looking good, so whatever you're doing is working. Thank you for always sharing.
Meg I’m starting a hair growth journey in 2025. I was in tears discouraged but I’ve watched your older videos when you had a bob and I am feeling encouraged.ill be using your hair care regimens on my journey and the protective styles you recommend. Thank you for being transparent about your journey. Here is to healthy hair in 2025 Blessings to you . ❤️
I love the hairstyle today and the beat, you are always beautiful ❤ I’m a fan of Joico too. I currently use Defy Damage and K-Pak previously. It makes my hair feel like butter.
I was using the Joico RECONSTRUCTOR not reconstrucTING and bought the latter by mistake. I was going to return the conditioner, however this video popped up and it's given me more inspo to give it a try. Joico has never done me wrong. I might try the shampoos one day.
Great video I love those products. I’m not consistent at all but when I use them, they really come in as a hero product. I only could imagine if I was smart consistent what the results would be
You are absolutely right about the KeraCare Humecto condition ever since I used it. I noticed my hair grows and has a great shine. It gives me absolutely great slip.💯✊🏿🔥😎
Thank u so much frthe indent review...weneedsto no...lol..and dear, u look so pretty and I wud like a video on that style u are rocking...merry Christmas...❤
Protein sensitive folks, beware. The keratin in these products make my hair VERY hard and feel like straw, even when I use my most moisturizing conditioners with no protein afterwards. I can only use Joico when I am in moisture overload. I can tolerate most other proteins, but the hydrolyzed keratin in Joico products is very strong and effective. (Used kpak as well as moisture recovery on different occasions, same result)
Yes I have actually been looking into getting salon quality products for my hair. I was using miche beauty detox shampoo and the deep conditioner. Recently I wanted to get into salon quality products. I got design essentials shampoos mostly for now. I have the joico treatment balm and I use it as a deep conditioner as well. It’s good makes your hair soft and manageable since I am natural. I’m happy to try a new product that helps my hair.
Yessssss, those salon quality products really are different in a good kind of way. I know I complain about the price sometimes but its totally worth in the long run!!!

My hair is fine and does not like a lot of protein. My hair is always dry and breaking. I would love to try Joico
Heeeeey! I''m the same way and discovered I had to start balancing/following up with moisture on protein days.

Hi Megz, I have fine hair just like you. Do you apply your conditoners only mid-lenghts to ends or are you a root to tip person?
I apply from root to end due to my new growth so it makes everything much more manageable
@@ulovemegz Thank you! ❤

I’m in the UK and I found the shampoo at a TK Max for half of the price I usually get it for, love love loveee
Yes, I go into my TJ MAXX here just to check for deals because it really is worth it when you find it for a nice savings!
Please does the joico recovery balm come in bigger sizes cos I have extremely thick and and this tube might get finished in two washes
A little product goes a really long way so you may be able to get more uses
