Still can't be believe how underrated these guys are. They literally have it all. One of the best bands I've ever heard.
This definetely is the best rock/metal music i've heard in a decade. They have elements of all genres of rock/metal which combines in one piece. That's what i call art.
More than anything, this band is necessary. Pure genius.

Just seen those guys in vienna and it was fucking mind blowing!! Tbh i wasn‘t expecting an perfect audio and live performance but this was just one hell of an outstanding and atmospheric vibe. Even the vocal performance was on point, just wow.

6:58 is a whole bunch of feels
It is kind of a “basic” chord progression there and yea it hits you right in your guts! And then the guitar comes in with a prog-ish thing that fits so well with the “basic” background. These guys know how to compose a masterpiece and that’s the demonstration of it. There’s plenty of prog rock/metal bands that think simple riffs are bad and make just complex boring stuff. If it’s easy to play doesn’t mean it is not expressive enough.

What a small world. I was today in Bremen xD (yeah, I know that the concert was not today).
I was supposed to see them live, but it's been postponed and I can't go to see it anymore... So disappointed. What a massive band, they never failed to release incredible music in over 15 years.
While I love the new stuff, Precambrian and aeolian are still my favs
Gotta go with Precambrian/Phan. 1 and 2. Those 3 albums are probably because of bias to geologic stuff, but, still, I love em. Precambrian did so amazing with Rhyacian and Ectasian.

This does not sound like a live record
The instruments are recorded live from a mixer not from microphones(besides singer). They are then mixed afterwards and matched to the live video the concert the instruments are recorded from.
So many concerts now are using spotlights behind the band shining directly into the audience. That's a bummer if you're stoned. I guess the bands like it.
