@@Syphon_Drummer calling them masterminds is a strong term they're ok definitely deserve to be as famous as Leprous and Leprous as famous as Pink Floyd
To me this is one of the greatest songs ever written. Total masterpiece.
Watching them perform this track live changes you down to the molecular level. I still have dreams about Loic jumping on the crowd mercilessly. Also, major props to the guys in Ghost City Recordings for a pitch perfect live production work \m/

Just got back into The Ocean after listening to Heliocentric and Mesopelagic religiously. The couple of albums I've missed are incredible.

Would love to see artists like Leprous, The Contortionist, Agent Fresco, Spiritbox, Katatonia, Swallow the Sun, and even more Karnivool would be a treat!
Karnivool and the ocean are my 2 favourite bands so more from them would be great but if not a session with either klone, soilwork, meshuggah, gojira, vildhjarta or sikth would be great

gageless sadly I agree with this. It’s not an issue of their latest song not being heavy or whatever it’s just so generic and by the numbers metal; on the other hand The Ocean always feel like they’re pushing sonic boundaries with every release.

The Ocean is love
Nobody, and I can't emphasize that enough, NObody sounds like this band. Loved The Ocean (Ocean Collective) for many years now.. grateful for the only time I've seen them (Summer Slaughter Tour, in Philly.. can't remember the year, but my daughter was maybe 13/14? Luc signed some sticks that he gave to her 😉).
In Michigan now.. would travel at least 2 states to see them again.

CureEclipse11 to me this sounds like metalcore. The singer though doesn’t have melody in his singing in the beginning and it sounds awkward.

I mean, I'd say their most "tame" song is Catharsis of a Heretic or Ptolemy was Wrong, but Loic doesnt do the vocals on that one.
