Weihrauch HW95K (Beeman R9) is one of the best medium weight springers in the world. Once tuned its just got to be shot to believed. Great show mate. Si.
This is one of the best airguns, 400 dollars good price for the r9. I have this rifle, the only springer over my all PCP’S. I have a review shutting this sucker and boy let me tell you. Super accurate. Nice review guy.
Great review. I did notice one small detail that may interest some people. It is an odd system, but Weihrauch made rifle's safeties can be re-applied. You simply break the barrel fully open again as if cocking the gun. You can also decock them by fully breaking the barrel, HOLDING IT, clicking off the safety, pressing the trigger, and closing the barrel once more. Thanks for a well made video!
Another great review Paul. I have just re-viewed all your Beeman R series rifles and they are dadgum tack drivers. You have me sold. I'm online withe Pyramid right now making a order. Thanks, TonynTexas
Hehe, finally someone that pronounces Weihrauch correctly! Most English ppl pronounce it like "Varak" or something. Nice review. The record trigger really is the best one on the market!
$659.99 right now.. I'm thinking of it Sir, i don't have one brake barel , my was HW 97 , actually i bought it from your store 2 1/2 yrs ago.. 🤓... i really want buy this combo ..
I bought my R9 20cal 10years ago it came w/ iron sights & hardwood, but the muzzle brake & the scope base/rings were extra, buy a decent scope I have an range finding scope calibrated to 20cal. Ive killed pdogs and pigeons out to 75yards w/ no issues. Only thing is i can't buy 20cal pellets locally.
Sweet vid! I just picked up a used r9, the limited edition series. Still trying to get use to the light hold...it does make a WORLD of difference ive discovered! Wat is the sandbag/rest your using in this vid? Thanks...Im loving this rifle!
I found the 177 to be louder in my R1 for some reason. Maybe because it was coming out of the barrel at over 1000 fps. I could actually hear a crack of the shot out of the barrel.
Trying to decide on just the right gun for me and I am curious as to how the R9 compares to the techforce 89 contender series in terms of shear power and accuracy??
no. just the 20 cal. the truth. beeman R 7. get 177 cal. beeman R 9. get 20 cal. a real beeman kodiac 25 cal. and do not get. a side lever. or under lever gun. but the good news if I had to pick one. it would be R 9 in 177 cal like you have now . more pellets per $ more fps . but if you fall in love with your beeman ( like I know you will) over time you will have them all
I have .177 and .22. Both have been tuned. The .177 14ftlbs and the .22 18.3ftlbs. Out of thirty air rifles my two best. I actually like the .22 best. It stacks five pellets through the same hole, not enlarged. Better than any of my under levers even my TX200.
You would love the 20 cal .you can shoot lite 11 gr pellet or 14 + gr pellet in this video 20 cal a new one out of the box 700 fps my old one 20+ years old 730 fps . But I would like a 177 for the 900+ fps.
@@paula7061 Please sir.I can only have open sights, we are not allowed to use scopes in Greece. Which one should I get, the HW 95 or the HW 80? I know these work better in 22 cal. at least that's what I most people opinions are about these 2 Weihrauch models. Which 1 should be the best, if you could only have 1? Im 39 y old, 6 ft tall, should the 95 fit me better? unfortunately, I can only get the 80 from my local official Weihrauch dealer, but I can still get the 95 from other dealers. I would really appricate your opinion.
I am torn between getting a Beeman R9 and and air arms TX200. I understand how refined the TX200 is but is it really worth the extra $100+ that i would pay to get it as opposed to the Beeman? I need your help on this, you have the final say. Also regarding pellets i have settled on the RWS Superpoint Extra, Crosman Premier Hollowpoint, Air Arms Falcon and JSB Diabolo. Are these good choices??
@pyramydair Oh, I did not call dealer of Beeman but I complaint to BIG 5 manager, not sure my complaints go any further for QUALITY CONTROL OF BEEMAN or not? - If Beeman see these words from customers probably little HELP!
Hi Paul.... Can I use this rifle for Field Target?, between this Rifle (R9) and the Diana RWS 48, both in .177cal., which of these two rifles is a better idea for Field Target?, Hunter Class?
I am curious about the RWS 350 magnum. It seems to be right up there with the Beeman and with what seems to be +250 FPS. How would you rank the three between Beeman R9, RWS 34 and RWS 350 Magnum
I own the RWS 350 magnum and the AA TX200Mk3... the 350 is a great option for small hunting, you can take down pigeons 60 yards away with no problem. Lot of power but you need to spent in a very good scope, like the SWFA or Vortex ($300-$400) to take the big recoil. And the TX200 is like the R9, a lot of accuracy, with some practice you can hit a dime 40 yards away. Not too much recoil, you can put a cheaper scope to take the recoil like de Leapers in 30mm tube. So, the RWS350 is more to the power side and the TX or R9 is more for the accuracy side. Regards.
A pellet moves much-more slowly than a firearm bullet, so the barrel position when the fire-cycle begins and ends is more important, to maintain any form of accuracy. A spring gun - due to it’s spring violently uncoiling and coming to a stop, will move right, left, up, down and around during the firing cycle. It will STILL move in those directions - by degrees - no-matter how hard you hold it. Most people will not hold any rifle when it’s discharged exactly the same way - every single time. There will always be less pressure at the grip ...or on the shoulder, ...or on the hand position on the stock, so, the gun will actually move differently every-time when you try to hold spring powered air rifle while firing it. As the gun is moving when the pellet leaves the barrel, that means the barrel will be in a different position every time when you pull the trigger while holding an air rifle tightly. Not good. You want the barrel to be in the same position every-time you fire. SO. If you don’t hold the gun much at all (the artillery hold), then the gun will move the same - every-single time! THAT is what you are looking for. The gun is going to move, you just want it to move exactly the same way - always. To achieve that with a pellet rifle you don’t really hold the gun at all. You let the gun do it’s thing. You let it dance it's jig. Because at the end of the tune, the rifle comes to a stop in exactly the same position that way. You just rest and balance the gun on your palm, aim, and pull the trigger. You don’t grip it much at all. Because the more you try to grip and control a spring powered air-rife during the firing cycle - usually - the worse your shot-groups will be.
RWS P34 mastershootze pro compact with wood stock t06,177call with H&N baracuda 10.65gr, amazingly acurate rifle, even at 75 yards and beyond, got it from UmarexUSA
bushnell dusk to dawn this is the scope. R.R. Beeman. picked for this line. beeman R9 goldfinger scoped combo. note. this gun has no sights on it. thay will not work on this gun. there is a secret to this gun. that will let it shoot 20 yards. - 60 yards flat. and out 100 yards with. small hold over.
Hows come you dont shoot through chrony for accuracy and test sound levels at the same time. Would leave you more time for salesmanship and more interesting outdoor shots.
that doesnt actually reset the safety by doing that. That releases the spring by disengaging the sear and allowing the barrel to return under control by user. To reset the safety simply cock it again all the way and the safety will pop back out

Hello! What type of tuning kit?
I have the Beeman R10 .20 cal and want to know what is the difference between the Weirauch?
Why are they so similar?
This is one of the best airguns, 400 dollars good price for the r9. I have this rifle, the only springer over my all PCP’S. I have a review shutting this sucker and boy let me tell you. Super accurate. Nice review guy.
Looking at this rifle and the Benjamin Maximus as my first serious small game hunting air rifle. Which is best in the $400 budget I have.
Great review. I did notice one small detail that may interest some people. It is an odd system, but Weihrauch made rifle's safeties can be re-applied. My R10 .20 cal is rated at 850 feet per second and is still putting holes clean through lap top screens.

This gun is awesome and so is your videos

Thanks for the informative review. Would you say this gun in a .177 would be quieter than the .20?
I found the 177 to be louder in my R1 for some reason. Maybe because it was coming out of the barrel at over 1000 fps.

I have an air soft gun and it's very old, I was hoping maybe you could help me identify it and possibly give me tips on how to improve it
I think it might be a beeman rifle
I have the .177 has anyone owned or shot the HW95 or beeman R9 in .22 or .25 call .

Hi Paul! Can u do a review of Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk?
@pyramydair Oh, I did not call dealer of Beeman but I complaint to BIG 5 manager, not sure my complaints go any further for QUALITY CONTROL OF BEEMAN or not?

Can you do a review for the Beeman Elite X2
@elbarto138 He is with "Umarex" now right? What hapen between pyramyd and him?

isn't the cocking effort of the r9 40lbs compared to the 34lbs of the r1? and btw, which has more recoil?
I was just shooting mine today! .177cal. Any more info on this holding position, and why it's the best for spring powered air rifles?

Does the twang from the spring settle down after a while?
Lots if you get it tuned. Untuned not really.
Is this rifle the HW-95K (or equivalent)?
The R9 is a magnum powered air gun?
RWS P34 mastershootze pro compact with wood stock t06,177call with H&N baracuda 10.65gr, amazingly acurate rifle, even at 75 yards and beyond, got it from UmarexUSA
what is better, r1 or the r9?
Muito bom, gostei.
What scope is on that one

Beeman R9 treager or RWS Diana t06?
beeman r9 all the way
600.00 dollars, and you can’t put it back on safe, whoa!
I did buy It for $300!!
Hows come you dont shoot through chrony for accuracy and test sound levels at the same time. Would leave you more time for salesmanship and more interesting outdoor shots.
Cock the barrel, release the safety, then pull the trigger while holding onto the barrel. This resets the safety.
that doesnt actually reset the safety by doing that. That releases the spring by disengaging the sear and allowing the barrel to return under control by user. To reset the safety simply cock it again all the way and the safety will pop back out

At last.... Weirauch pronounced correctly.
v y rock
No iron sights. Sucks.

$500 air rifle? Might as well buy a Remington .308 SPS Series rifle.
I am a fixed sight shooter. I would never buy this piece of garbage.
