Great plans! Great results! A suggestion. I know I sometimes use "second generation stamping". Knowing how the 2nd stamping looks next to full strength and other 2nd stamping, can make my choices for stamping much faster and less wasteful. I think I would put that colour on my swatch cards too. Just a thought. There are a couple of ideas I will implement. I already have many of the discs to make my own water colour books for art journaling. I'm also in the process of doing a major purge in my craft room. When I get tired of deciding if I want this or that, I'll organize my 8x11 to take a break. Sandi from BC Canada
A second generation swatch is a great idea! I don't do much second generation stamping so not necessary for me. Good luck on your purge. I need to do one too! I have a whole laundry basket full of things I need to giveaway already and I need to make room for more!
Thanks for Another great inspiring video. You have motivated me to get on the ball with organizing all of my card stock, ink, dies, stamps, etc. Thank you so much for sharing. I will be ordering the waffle flower swatching items that I do not currently have.
I know it is a bit of work, but I think you will be so happy with swatched and organized supplies! If you are looking for more organization videos, I have a whole playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLk4tRUVuI1Jpsp_6119WuCqGA2X-xORYA
Thanks for the paper storage tips! One thing to think about is cutting out a piece of white paper from the smaller rectangular die and stamping the ink on that to adhere to the colored paper swatch roll. You'll save having to have 2 different rolls.
This is such a great video and an excellent storage idea! I really like the idea of swatching my paper so I can see what I have instead of rummaging around.
Well, my floor is a disaster lol, but everything else that I have organized in this and in previous videos has pretty much stayed organized so far. My problem is putting things away after a project when I am busy I tend to make piles and then those piles get out of control! LOL
Thanks! LOL, I know how that is....I have a pile of supplies on my floor from the last 10 videos I've filmed that need to be put away. Finding anything in there is next to impossible.
I love paper and I love organisation, and I definitely have an addiction, so I will say this video is like cocaine to me. Soooo good! If I had as much paper as you, I could definitely die happy. And it looked so good once you had finished reorganising. Thank you so much for sharing, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Take care and stay safe. Side note; My brother is in Colorado at the moment sending us all pictures and videos of hiking and basball and basketball games. He is making me so jealous! He said it is definately warmer than we are over here. Have a great day and thanks again
Sounds like your brother is having a great trip! We are supposed to hit 117 this week so I am definitely NOT looking forward to that. But on a positive note, the pool has finally warmed up lol!
Neat document folders! BTW, I’ve found - well Jennifer McGuire found! - that there’s good stability if the job ticket holders are in a magazine holder with the magazine holder set so there’s no lip in the front. I’d guess that can be done with the project folders you’re using. I’d need to continue that since my cardstock is all in magazine holders on top of Alex units. Like Jennifer, I trimmed off the strip with holes on the job ticket holder. There’s no side wall.
Wow! You are really organized! I need to do this...you have inspired me. By the way, the Christmas trees are ready to go. I will put some up on Instagram next weekend for all to see!
I organize tiny spots at a time. My floor is still unfortunately a disaster. It looks like a hurricane blew all the supplies from the last 10 videos on the floor! lol Can't wait to see your trees!
I use the job ticket holders also but I either stand them with the "top at the top", or I put them in backwards so the top is toward the back of the cabinet. That way I can clearly see what color I need. I like the idea of swatching though and just might have to do that!
I think it got to be an aesthetic thing for me. I was tired at looking at the edges of the tickets holders and love seeing the rainbow clearly on display. Silly I know, but I have a teeny space and I want every inch of it to look pretty AND be functional.
@@BeverlyLeeCreates Totally get it! I try to get most of my filming done on the weekend because my husband and I share the office during the week, but I never get nearly enough done!

I definitely love these because they are closed in the back, but I can see the colors just looking at the shelf and from the front and back as I am flipping through too! I bought extra so I will have some if I get more colors because I like them so much!
So these folders come flat packed so they look like they can't hold much, but the bottom is super flexible and so I am able to fit definitely 25 sheets of heavy cardstock easily and it still looks neat and organized.
Generally I just put a pack of cardstock in one which is usally about 24 sheets, but I do have one folder filled with 50 sheets and it holds those fine as well.
For a while I kept them all together just by color, but now that so many cardmaking companies have full sets of cardstock colors, I do separate them out by company. But that's mainly because when I am designing for a particular company, I like to use their colors when I have them available. :)
@@RebeccaKeppel thanks for taking time to reply! I don’t design for anyone so I may just keep mine together by color. Right now I just have TE and C9. But I want GinaK and SSS too. 😬 Love you and your videos!💗

Super great ideas!! I like that you have a small piece of cardstock on the ink swatches.
Thank you! This is my first time incorporating that into my swatch book, but I really like it too!

I love this. What do you do for 12 x 12 paper ?
I use these We R stackable trays: • Amazon.com : We R Memory Keepers 4 Piece 12 x 13 Inch Stackable Trays...
--- amzn.to/3y4laBm [ Amazon US ]
File folders is what I use - because I couldn't find job ticket holders
I definitely love these because they are closed in the back, but I can see the colors just looking at the shelf and from the front and back as I am flipping through too! I bought extra so I will have some if I get more colors because I like them so much!
What is the difference between cardstock and cardstocks
How to make it in the plural form
How many pieces of paper fit into the foroffice paper holder you switched over to?
So these folders come flat packed so they look like they can't hold much, but the bottom is super flexible and so I am able to fit definitely 25 sheets of heavy cardstock easily and it still looks neat and organized.
How many sheets of card stock will fit into each pocket?
Generally I just put a pack of cardstock in one which is usally about 24 sheets, but I do have one folder filled with 50 sheets and it holds those fine as well.
Do u know how to get the brother to stop wasting tape??
If you change the label to CHAIN rather than single it will allow you to keep printing labels without all the additional wasted tape.
Isnt A2 bigger than A4?
Do you keep your cardstock together by color or so you separate each company?
For a while I kept them all together just by color, but now that so many cardmaking companies have full sets of cardstock colors, I do separate them out by company. But that's mainly because when I am designing for a particular company, I like to use their colors when I have them available. :)
