@@NobbyOnCars My apologies. I think I may have been misunderstood. "Keep walking Nobbs" was in reference to Johnny Walker's tagline, which I think is cool. It was meant to be a compliment. Sorry :(
Love this channel, keep up the great work! As someone who has been fortunate to have had BMWs and Mercedes, right now I wouldn’t buy either new until they define their On Demand Subscriptions. At this end of the market, paying extra per month for fitted items such as heated seats (in certain markets) is price gouging.
I just don't understand the spec of this car. The Germans are falling behind the Koreans and others in terms of base spec.... but so strange to have extras like heated/cooled/massage seats, deployable towbar and pan roof etc...... and then not have radar cruise or blind spot assist, which, in my opinion, are table stakes for cars in this bracket
I was overtaking a new Suzuki Swift the other day and it had blind spot monitoring! Even if I won the Euromillions I wouldn't buy this! Simply ridiculous at this price!
Mark. Yet again another proper review! Not BMW's finest " hour". Ugly. BIG! MASSIVE. OTT. Range Rover has no worries... leagues ahead. Probably eye watering depreciation. Just buy an X5 or a Range Rover... Sport! Or be sensible instead.
You say to be sensible and then inform people to buy the Range Rover Sport, and that it probably has eye watering depreciation. So I guess the other vehicles you mentioned don’t suffer from the same depreciation problem.
Nice review, Nobbs. Keep 'em comin'. Great job !
And you stay classy !
Nice car but crazy price
Why shouldn't they ask him to review their products. As long as he stays impartial I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Great review. Love your style. Keep it going!
thank you!
Great backdrop. Great review Nobby
Cheers Robbie
It’s a beast of a car. The spec is a bit strange with missing features but that’s a BMW thing 😏
This is a straight six and nota V6 which you suggest
Yes and I’ve owned about 6 of them, made a mistake and didn’t notice
If you had to choose between the X7 40 D and the GLS 450 D, both with full options and all black, which would you choose?
BMW
Sir..which has great driving pleasure & ride quality x740i or x7 40d,im planning to buy one..
I think they’re both fantastic engines. If you want the slightly lower fuel bills, maybe the diesel
It’s a straight six rather than a V6
Strange that no plugin hybrid option. Would be easier to fit a battery to this than X5.
Would really help the price in Ireland
@@NobbyOnCars same in Finland. We have CO2 based car tax.

its price gouging at any end of the market.
Thanks Phil
Agreed, if you buy the car with hardware installed you shouldn't have to pay to use it!

Quite odd to not have some of the bits as standard
It’s a straight six not a V six

Turn up in that and everyone will just think you’re a w##ker. At least in a Range Rover everyone will think you’re a rich w##ker 😂
🤣

Hideous looking from the side, no blind spot and adaptive cruise control is beyond laughable.
The X7 is a direct competitor to the Range Rover. But now that Ranges have BMW engines, the X7 will never catch up
It’s only the Top of line V8’s that are BMW engines the lesser engines are LR.
BMW's are getting UGLIER by the day.
