Right. The X7 looks aggressive, while the RR is understated. It really comes down to if you want something that will get attention vs fly under the radar.
My P530 is as quiet as my Continental GT and S8 (more quiet than the Bentley) before, as you can expect it from a Range Rover. I've heard about that issue a few times. Maybe pre-series vehicles used as demo cars? I've had Range Rovers since 2007, 322s and 405s, no problems at all, always the petrol V8.
I used to drive multiple previous gen Range Rover sports over 8 years and they were completely fine. I’m not sure id go so far to call it a ‘deal breaker’ but I’m a fan that you own an X7👌
X7 is the sportier drive. Has an updated engine and is better suited for the 99% of the time used for on-road driving rather than off - road 😁 IDrive 8 needs some time for accommodation, but the interior is looking a little bit more premium with it... of course, depending on the personal taste and needs, can't go wrong with either... ✌
I don't mind the look of the X7 at all. Yes the RR looks inoffensive, but its styling is essentially just a slightly smoothed over copy of same again look of the previous version. The X7 is at least daring and tries something different.
I am admittedly a BMW fan and have owned them since 1998… Currently own a 2022 X5. The Range Rover is fabulous but I’m not a fan of Tata so objectively I would take the X7!
I definitely choose Range Rover because it's a two in one package compared to the BMW. It also looks more fancier and luxurious than the BMW. Thanks for sharing! It was awesome to watch

The Range Rover still lags behind BMW in the infotainment department and most certainly the reliability department. Also, the engine in the X7 is a true "M" engine, whereas the engine in the RR is not.

Nice review - as to aesthetics - why is everyone raging at the X7 grill when the Range's back is the ugliest thing since the 60's - It is like a London cab of old - saw one live the other day with lights on. Interior of Range indeed screams luxury and minimalist, better than the X7 - I have the old X7 in Le Mans blue (very rare) and thought I should have bought the Range (but wait for it for 9 months) - after i saw the back I knew the choice was right. Enjoy your drives whatever they are!

I smoked both previous versions of these 2 cars. Nimble like an elephant. As per reviewing the engine noise, please keep in mind the cabin speakers are playing it.
I went for the X7 because it can do both calm wafty driving and somewhat sporty/engaging driving. The 7-seat implementation is the best there is... an actually usable 3rd row! The S68 engine is an absolute force of nature, it will do 4.3's 0-60 all day. They've improved most of the unintuitive iDrive features with v8.5 so thankfully its much more user-friendly now. Range Rover looks hideous. Same as previous gen..but even more bland...what the hell is that rear end? 30k for a worse car with less seats. X7 wins easy I don't know why people cry about the X7 front end...it looks good
So the BMW had a fault. Range Rover is much less reliable let alone insurable. Sure agree about distance setting. I prefer the BMW monolithic or Bauhaus design also. For me it is no contest. I would not take a JLR car into the Australian bush.

The infotainment on BMW is better than Range Rover because it's from Herman International. Range Rover one is from Visteon Corporation and Herman makes better Infotainment than Visteon. Also the Range Rover is cleaner in design and BMW can attract mixed feelings.
Good review
Range Rover looks hideous. Same as previous gen..but even more bland...what the hell is that rear end? 30k for a worse car with less seats. X7 wins easy
I don't know why people cry about the X7 front end...it looks good
Whilst the BMW is way better in some respect,Its not a grand as the range rover in my opinion. RR all the way babe!
I'll keep the $30000 and it's the X7 all day long for me
Test drove both. Got the X7. X7 allllll the way and it’s not even close.
I drive software? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 did you mention range rover is in the shop every other day? I had 1 😢😢😢😢 I take the bmw x7 any day over the fail rover
So the BMW had a fault. Range Rover is much less reliable let alone insurable. Sure agree about distance setting. I prefer the BMW monolithic or Bauhaus design also. For me it is no contest. I would not take a JLR car into the Australian bush.
RANGE ROVER 🔥❤️👑
