Yo CK, I just bought the Watch 6 Classic. I work out a lot and tend to sweat. What watch band do you recommend for me to use while I'm working out? Thanks in advance.
After watching you battery tips for the watch 6 classic I changed the heart rate from every 10 mins. to manual and it has made a huge difference. I normally sleep with my watch at night and in the morning I would have about 23%, but now I have around 53 %.
Better than doing a one and done. It's always good to see someone talking about a product as they use it, considering most products are released and then updated. @@CKidM
I bought two of the Galaxy watch 6 classic LTE my wife has the 43 mm in silver and I have the 47 mm in silver I have the LTE settings Auto in I get 2 days out of my not sure of my wife settings but she's getting roughly a day and a quarter out of hers the only time my LTE is used is when I leave my phone 👊👍
That's good to hear. Mines is coming in the mail soon and I'm upgrading from the s3 frontier to the LTE 47 mm. I keep reading these negative comments about the battery and started getting nervous
I switched to the 6 classic because I missed the rotating bezel. I still have my watch 5 pro but I was considering selling it on eBay. But after a week I am missing the battery life of the watch 5 Pro. It's hard choice
My GWC6 battery is better now with LTE in Always Off mode. I figured Auto would do the same but it's not the case. They may have a new CPU but I honestly don't see much difference in performance or battery life. I still love the watch but I did expect more with the new hardware. Hopefully future updates will tweak things better like the Pixel Watch updates did.
Yea Id say only turn it on when you feel like you need LTE on when you're away from your phone. Yea we will see what Samsung do with update support and possibly new features. I'll keep you guys posted.
In terms of the battery life, the 6 classic LTE is great. Let me explain .... What I learned is that darker faces on your watch will increase battery life. Also and the most important thing, I literally toggle the mobile data, Bluetooth, wifi, all connections off, when I sleeping, working out, or when my phone is nearby. Of course there are additional settings I can toggle on and off, but turning off all mobile connections and implementing a darker face is enough for me. With these settings, my 6 Classic LTE went from 100% to 96% in one day. Yep.
Great video, CKid! I prefer the Watch 6 Classic( I have the Silver and love it) over any of the Watch 5 series. I had the Watch 4 Classic before and love it also. I love the rotating bezel and I'm very happy that Samsung brought it back. No LTE for me.
@Ckid, call me cheap also. I have not done LTE on the Galaxy watches since 2018, where the speaker was good but not that great and I rarely used it except a few times in the gym. The speaker to me has not been that great so I find myself popping in my earbuds to talk. To me, that speaker is a weak point to that watch from Tizen to WearOS I know that is software but since the OS changed I would have thought they would have done better with the internals. I agree with you on the upgrade from the Goat (G5Pro) to the G6 is just the look of the watch is better overall. Ok, see you on the next vid. Peace
It took 2 weeks for my GW6C 47mm LTE battery to fully optimize. I now get 60 - 68 hours from 100% to 15%. I just keep LTE off when I am not using it and I just use when I go walking or working out where I will be out of range. I have it so my elderly mom can get in touch if she has an emergency while I am out for a walk or something. Wear OS seems to be a battery hog and One UI on top seems to suck at power and memory management. If i did not need Wear OS, I would have another Amazfit or Garmin..
as far LTE goes... you don't have to turn it off if you are connected to your phone through BT, it is done automatically. The truth is that once it is disconnected, both LTE and Wi-Fi are on almost immediately. So the battery drain is quite tremendous. I use LTE for my outdoor workouts, but then I have that and BT working non-stop which increases battery drain even more - about 25% in 45 minutes, only because I actually stream my music. I use 5 PRO LTE but since I started using it outside, it will only last a day. To mitigate this, I throw it back on the charger in the morning for about half hour to replenish, If you are not using LTE, then yes, it will last about 2+ days, I can vouch for that. .
Have you noticed on google messages that notifications on the watch will never include prior message replies? It will only show the other person’s thread but not include the messages you sent? Is this just me? Great review nonetheless!
Got the 6 classic 47mm silver best smart watch I've ever owned i like it better than the 5 pro. I get a day and a half on max brightness and always on display.
I'm amazed at the complaints on the battery. I have the watch 6 LTE version and it's fine. Do I charge everyday yes. It charges fast though. I put it on the charger in the morning while I'm in the shower. When I get home I put it on the charger if necessary. I love having LTE in case I walk away from my phone or I want to workout and stay Spotify. I may get board with my downloaded play list. I'm just saying.
I have had every Samsung watch except 5 series... right even have camera watch! I'm already subbed to your channel. I agree with you #💯 on the LTE is a waste. I only used my one on the watch 4. Wasted money over the years. What else can I do to help? Thank you 👑
I love my samsung galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm with LTE I had it for a week battery life is ok I get a day and a half but I keep the power saver on. I been used the samsung galaxy watch 3 45mm for the last 3 year and it was time for a upgrade
The 5 pro has the track back feature. Hi, that's what they needed to keep! I can get lost on a walk now with the 6. Comon Samsung... Hate the 5 without a bezel, and the battery just perfection 🎉.
CKid, before I can watch these watch videos I have to find a great presenter/creator. That's you. Much appreciate all the info you're putting out, specifically, I'm looking at the 6 Classic. Not a fan of what I'm hearing on the battery life but I love everything else about it. Respects!!
Appreciate the kind words fam! Means a lot. When it comes to the battery life it really all depends on how you use it...if used right you can possibly get 1.5-2 days out of it.
I love the looks of the new Galaxy 6 Classic, and they definitely nailed it this time. But I also appreciate long battery life on a smartwatch, and believe it or not, I'm still using the Galaxy 2018 version which gives me INSANE 4+ days of battery life on a single charge! I'm definitely in the market for an upgraded smartwatch, but it just hurts me to think I'd have to charge my smartwatch every single day like my phone. I think I'll just wait for the new model. Hopefully they’ll put a bigger battery to get (at least) 2 full days on a single charge. Any less than that is just unacceptable for me at this point. As for LTE, I have it on my (2018) model, and yes, having it enabled drains the battery massively. But I only use it once in a while when I don't want to carry my phone with me, which happens like a couple of times per month. Maybe it doesn’t even make any sense I'm wondering. But ok, it's there. As long as LTE is disabled the battery is just fine.
Been really torn on getting a smartwatch for a while now and have been looking at this one, for someone that does not own a smartwatch would you recommend this? Keeping in mind that would get very minimal use out of the fitness features, and would be mostly using it as an extension of my phone and periodically using the health features. My worry is just not getting enough use out of it to justify the cost which has held me back on getting one for so long, but at the same time I do really want to get one. I understand that worth is subjective, just looking for an opinion based on the usage I stated. Thanks in advance!
If you are on Android then this is 100% the smartwatch to get. The reason I said Android because the Galaxy Watch no longer works with Apple devices anymore. They stopped that with the GW5 series. If you are using it as an extension with your Android smartphone then it's definitely a W for sure. I say try it and if you don't like it you can always return it. But make sure you get you a nice watch band and watch face to match so that way you can get the full look out of it. But let me ask...are you a watch person in general?
@CKidM not so much in recent years no, but it is something I want to get back into, and yea I am on Android, s23U and on the go a lot, it was always just a matter of how much use I'd get out of it using it as an extension of my phone with periodic use of the health features that made me torn, but as you said, doesn't hurt to try it out and return it if I don't like it. Thanks for your input!
@villaxus1878 like you said cost is subjective. I bought a cheaper Garmin smart watch and used it for a few months. I just bought the 6 classic and am a convert now. Maybe start with one that's not 400 to see if you enjoy it's use then save for a more spendy one. I think you won't really know if you'll like a smart watch until you personally wear one for a while.
I'm not a smart watch person either (other than for counting steps). However, after seeing how beautiful this watch is, I had to own it. It's actually on sale now. Which is why I jumped at the chance. I ended up paying $288 in total. My first quality smart watch.
I'm addicted to any tech device that minimizes my carbon footprint (I was here) and / or reveals my ID, hence the latest Watch 6 Classic (rotating bezel), unlike my current Watch 5 Pro The Watch 5 Pro screen when fingerprinted, leaves an oily residue from my hands that leaves the screen almost unreadable. It's like venturing outside on a foggy day.
Gotta appreciate the honesty. Still i have gw4 and i do see lot of owner gw 4 and 5 is reluctant to upgrade coz oni style. The battery on old watch last just about 1 day and new 1 and half day....i go out door with tis i going crazy d bcoz b4 night fall all battery dry up...i mean its happening 2 years ago....and now samsung
Seriously it broke my heart when i see the battery life they offer. I appreciate the ecg, bp and rotating bezel. It is so "delicate" watch to be use as even leisure watch for simple weekend hiking, daily water sport. Tho ppl wanna call it apple killer but its a laughing stock to do anything else with it . A 500 mah might do great changes but instead we been told its great with sleep tracking and great style in a world where other wearable last days and i have all the to say bcoz my trex 2.5 year old did more activities tracking...longer....dear old samsung
You got me hooked after seeing the whole wrist band selections. I collect watches, and not the cheap kind lol, and after having the 6 classic, it's now my daily wear. Saves me money in the long run, haha. Thanks again, for the awesome informative videos!
Appreciate that...yea I love me some good watch bands and smartwatches. The 6 Classic is so good and the look of it with the right watch band and watch face is 🔥
Man the battery on my 6 is BAD, like bad bad. Over 2.5 hrs, mine dropped 31%. With everything off except bluetooth. Should I return mine? Battery just seems WAY too short for me. When im at work i often use it for music, calls, and texting often (I work on 18 wheelers and we have a big lot to walk often.)
No matter what, you are charging the watch every day if it is a watch5 pro or 6. Watch 5 pro is too high, too big and weigh too much. I choose 6 because it's lightened and smaller.
Battery is usually never a problem imo. The way I see it, it’ll never die if you shower daily lol. I’ve had just about every watch under the sun, even the pixel watch and Apple Watch ultra (currently) and never had any of them die by simply charging it while I shower 😂
Damn! that face with that strap looks amazing. I am planning to exchange my apple watch to a Galaxy watch, I use a Samsung phone so it makes sense to have the galaxy watch
This Watch 6 Classic is SICK: Much larger screen size Google Maps, and the selection of more and improved Watch Faces done knocked me out!! I just got my Watch only an hour ago! Wow!!
Stop asking people to like the video and start making people like the video. It's not just a statistic, we are human, we like things and we don't like things. If i see something I like then I might hit the like button. Let's see in 12 minutes if I do hit the like button, I hope so.
I appreciate your opinion bro I got watch 5 pro bluetooth version battery life is great but miss my watch 4 classic even though the battery was trash 😂 but I want 6 classic I'm still debating bro
Yea that Watch 4 series battery was terrible 🤣. Honestly I think if you can live with having at least 1.5-2 days battery life then the Watch 6 Classic is fine...but just know that it's not on the Watch 5 Pro battery life level
Theres a biological scientist on youtube testing every smartwatch out there and he is doing that with proffesional equipment and testing accuracy and he is max level when it comes to these watches and testing them. Extremely detailed and 100% waterproof testing. As a 47mm classic lte owner and not a Apple fan i hate to say this but these watches are not accurate when it comes to sporttracking, sleeptracking amd gps. I hope Samsung will fix this with updates or this is a big L for Samsung
I have purchased watch 6 44mm LTE instead of classsic 47mm after watching your video i am thinking in plan to cancel that i feel like why did i buy LTE instead of BT
Unless you really need the LTE version and willing to purchase another phone plan for your watch then I would steer clear of it if you usually have your phone nearby
Yea it's tough for a watch to be able to handle that type of processing...which is another reason why I don't get the LTE version...they would have to increase the size of the watch and provide better airflow for the heat build up.
Ok, I switched. I gave up the Watch 5 Pro for Watch 6 Classic. It isn't better just because of the battery, but the 5 Pro suits my active lifestyle. That GPS and GPX... However, I missed the rotating bezel and the traditional watch style of the Watch 6 Classic. The battery is improved enough. The Watch 6 Classic is What the Watch 4 Classic should have been.
Just fast forward a few times, it's fast, easy and you can even get through stuff they are slinging. Soon you will be a master of fast forward and it will be second nature.
@CKidM honestly mate this is respect to ya no reply needed I know ya massively busy but had to say thanks for quick reply again never expecting it but massive thanks for shout out to kids they loved it our luca's already on WhatsApp with mates from school telling them about ya reply and sending them links to subscribe 👍 😉 again no need to reply mate I don't like getting in way of a much loved respected generous salt of the earth kind soul that is ya man 👊👊👊🫶
If you're a Active User then I think you will like the Watch 6. I think you will like the more flatter design over the dome shape of the Active 2. I say try it out and if you don't like it return it. But I think it's best if you pair it with some of the dope watch bands from my watch band videos.
If you are happy with the Watch 4...then I say keep it...but if you want to upgrade then I'd say sell it on a site like Swappa and get a solid amount for it and upgrade. But I wouldn't upgrade from the Watch 4 to the Watch 6...but if you're going the Watch 6 Classic or Watch 5 Pro route then there is a definitely notice in battery life increase you will experience.
So just to tell you what happens when you hit the subscribe button, nothing really, I subscribed, nothing happened so I thought maybe hitting it twice might do something so I hit it again, nothing happened, then I left
I got 6 Classic BT since 3 days before release date (Samsung ship it out early) and battery life doesn't bother me because I don't have Always On Display, my face watch display is simple and not fancy/flashy, I do make call and send or receive text and get notifications but not very often. I have my watch on when I go to work so at 7am-5pm and when I get home I set it on charger and it will use about between 30%-40% of battery
The watch 6 is not worth it. I would honestly skip this watch and wait for the 7. For a 6th generation smartwatch, it's a complete disappointment. I would suggest people to look for reviewers that actually do metrics that compare with other watches. The data is what matter, not just opinion.
Let me ask...what is disappointing about it? What else are you expecting it to do? What data on it is not correct? And when you compare it to other watches as you say....how are you sure that data is more accurate than the GW? Serious question.
I always say when it comes to these smartwatches I would only take a lot of the health data with a grain of salt because it's only able to monitor so much...and if you feel off then I would recommend you go seek professional assistance from a doctor.
@@CKidM the sleep tracking is not accurate and Samsung touts it as their specialty. GPS isn't accurate. HR isn't accurate. BTW, what happened to Fitbit Integration? We STILL haven't seen it yet. I'm just saying for this to be a 6th generation, besides looks, Samsung should be working more on accuracy of metrics otherwise, what's the point? Why buy a smartwatch that doesn't deliver as promised? Samsung has managed to play it safe for too long. The Apple watch X is coming next year and I KNOW Samsung cannot afford to play it safe next year. I just my opinion is all.

I am getting 2 days 20 hours on GW6 Classic 47mm BT version
Me too
Yea I get day and a half...I'm sure if I didn't use Google maps a lot I would get more.
@@CKidM True I don't generally use Google maps on my watch on a regular basis
If you go into device care and free up memory. Its a known bug. If you do that or there is an update soon, youll get 48 hours
The 6 Classic is so good and the look of it with the right watch band and watch face is 🔥
I just subscribed because of your Classically Trained Nintendo T-shirt!
lol...welcome to the squad!
Where is the link to purchase the stainless steel bans ?
Definitely subscribed already. Sticking with the 5 pro.
My guy 💪🏾
Can you still use other 40mm watch bands??
No matter what, you are charging the watch every day if it is a watch5 pro or 6. Watch 5 pro is too high, too big and weigh too much. I choose 6 because it's lightened and smaller.
I want this!
Did you cop? Links above
I have the galaxy watch 4. I’ll wait for the galaxy watch 8. Until body composition and other features are improved.
Where you get from your watch face's please?
I break that down in this video here ruclips.net/video/ygfHluGp67A/видео.html
@@CKidM what a quick response 👏. Thanks man
What is the watch face you are using the first 5 mins of the video, thats really sweet looking!
I break it down in this video right there - ruclips.net/video/ygfHluGp67A/видео.html
Battery is usually never a problem imo. The way I see it, it’ll never die if you shower daily lol. I’ve had just about every watch under the sun, even the pixel watch and Apple Watch ultra (currently) and never had any of them die by simply charging it while I shower 😂
Can water get under the screen protector?
Damn! that face with that strap looks amazing. I am planning to exchange my apple watch to a Galaxy watch, I use a Samsung phone so it makes sense to have the galaxy watch
Got this watch last Friday... used it this morning took it off the charger at 100% and it died within 3.5 hrs off usage
Make sure to hit that like button after the 12 minutes 🤣
Ckid videos are always interesting
🙏🏾
Which one would be best for stricly useing lte gw5 or gw6 classic 47 mm and how much less batt life on that especially gw6 classic 47mm
gw6 classic 47mm. Battery life is decent on the watch 6 classic...definitely better than just the normal Watch 5 in my opion.
@@CKidM I ment pro vs gw6 classic 47mm
You can program the button
Teach me your ways...you can't program the short press...but if you can teach me lol
@@CKidM you're right, went back to try didn't work, you can map the power button but not the short press lol
I appreciate your opinion bro I got watch 5 pro bluetooth version battery life is great but miss my watch 4 classic even though the battery was trash 😂 but I want 6 classic I'm still debating bro
Yea that Watch 4 series battery was terrible 🤣. Honestly I think if you can live with having at least 1.5-2 days battery life then the Watch 6 Classic is fine...but just know that it's not on the Watch 5 Pro battery life level
my lte gets over 30 hours always on and almost 48 hours always on off
got watch 6 classic 47mm
Theres a biological scientist on youtube testing every smartwatch out there and he is doing that with proffesional equipment and testing accuracy and he is max level when it comes to these watches and testing them.
Extremely detailed and 100% waterproof testing.
As a 47mm classic lte owner and not a Apple fan i hate to say this but these watches are not accurate when it comes to sporttracking, sleeptracking amd gps.
I hope Samsung will fix this with updates or this is a big L for Samsung
I have purchased watch 6 44mm LTE instead of classsic 47mm
after watching your video i am thinking in plan to cancel that
i feel like why did i buy LTE instead of BT
should i go for wathch 6 44mm LTE I haven't ever used gwWatch so you are saying LTE will not last more than One day 😒
Unless you really need the LTE version and willing to purchase another phone plan for your watch then I would steer clear of it if you usually have your phone nearby
In India we don't need to pay separately for LTE
why we don't need LTE
@@CKidM
Well Unfortunately the LTE version still Sucks!!!!! same problem as the 4 and the 5. Over heats after 15 seconds of call time on LTE!
Watch 5 pro is titanium and bulit better with bettter battery whihc is why i bought watch 5 pro instead of 6 classic ❤
You can reprogram the buttons
When it comes to the short press on the back button it only gives you two options...unless you found something else...teach me your ways lol

How do I turn off the LTE?
Go to Settings | Connections | Mobile Network and turn it off in there.
@@CKidM Thank you so much
What is your opinion on upgrading from the active2 to the 6??
If you're a Active User then I think you will like the Watch 6. I think you will like the more flatter design over the dome shape of the Active 2. I say try it out and if you don't like it return it. But I think it's best if you pair it with some of the dope watch bands from my watch band videos.
@@CKidM thank you! I'll let you know what I do. :)
Dont charge it overnight, charge it while you shower. It still gets back up to 💯
how long do you shower?? Lmao
I was legit about to ask this same question lmao
You must take extra long showers 🤣
@CKidM yeah it takes like an hour to charge from what I've heard, I'm still trying to justify buying it.
Bluetooth or WiFi witch needs more juice.
I would like to upgrade but I have the Galaxy watch 4 I've had it less than a year so I don't want to spend that extra money
@@CKidM I'm a bigger dude so I would love that 47 mm on that watch six classic.
I get 2 days on my 6 classic
💪🏾
I need to chill out using Google Maps...because that drains the hell out of my watch lol
I should say, 2 days with light use.
Can you do a video on face makers? How to change the weather from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
You can program the buttons!!! 😂
Im getting almost 3 days on 6 classic 47mm lte
You da GOAT! lol
What is the names of those watch faces
Check out this video with all of the watch faces ruclips.net/video/ygfHluGp67A/видео.html

Zelda watch face source plz?
In the Facer app if you search Zelda it will pop up.
@@CKidM Do you like the facer watch faces ? I find they use google fit more than native samsung. Does it not annoy you?
I got 6 Classic BT since 3 days before release date (Samsung ship it out early) and battery life doesn't bother me because I don't have Always On Display, my face watch display is simple and not fancy/flashy, I do make call and send or receive text and get notifications but not very often. I have my watch on when I go to work so at 7am-5pm and when I get home I set it on charger and it will use about between 30%-40% of battery
It also charges to 100% so quickly it's really not been a factor for me. I don't sleep with my 6 classic so can't speak on that.
@@Hrizzzz same here, I don't have it on when I go to sleep it just feel uncomfortable for me
I would have subscribed but already am.
Then you are already THE GOAT lol. Appreciate the love!
I'm from UK wot does lte mean
Literally...
Super crap this watch! It stopped monitoring my sleep without any reasons!
Well you can turn that off...but the sleep monitoring is actually pretty good
Any watch that has a 2 day battery life sucks!!!!
Ouch...tell us how you really feel 🤣
Am i the only one who likes the looks of the 5 pro more 😂?
I can get easily 3 days on the galaxy 6 classic 47 mm BT version
👀
@@CKidM I can share a screenshot of the usage from last charge
