On my 6 I wake up the next morning with 50-55% battery life. That's with wifi, gps and sleep tracking on. I can get 2 days but thats pushing it to its limits. It's never died on me though. Also, make sure to wear it consistently for the first 3 or 4 days. As it learns your patterns the battery life does improve.
I'm still rocking the Watch Active 2! Digital bezel and all, but most definitely behind the wrist bone y'all- behind the wrist bone. Battery life is still great! I can get through a marathon, 5 hours plus, using GPS and running apps, with no problem.

Do you keep AOD on? how long does it last for you? Does the 300 mah smaller display have the same battery life as the 425 mah larger display?
Yes I keep AOD on and I get over 24hrs close to two days depending on my usage throughout the day. I find the larger watch to be better in battery life overall but the 43mm is doable and I was able to get through a day on it as well
I have galaxy 4 classic but I might worn it maybe few times because something about a watch being digital just doesn't cut it for me. There is something about seeing the mechanical drives of watch, just a beauty to admire but I gotta say 6 classic silver does look pretty decent.
No one has ever commented on my digital watch unlike other time pieces I have. Its something about those mechanical drives, and watching the second hand move smoothly across the watch face. Time doesn't tick tock, but flows in one direction as physics would say.
The watch community and smart watch community is a completely different thing.

Can you show us what third party wireless chargers work with the watch 6? I hate using the one that's included it's super inconvenient and almost makes me not want to use my watch having to charge it with that. So I bought a really well reviewed 3 in 1 charger on amazon and it wont charge my watch 6. Every time I put it on the charger it charges for a minute then stops saying "charging paused". But it works perfectly with my 5 pro and charges all the way to full without stopping.

I've had mine about a week and I have been getting almost two days on a charge, I could get even more with turning off the AOD.
5:50 I can not agree here. I barely got 24 hours of batterylife on my GW4 classic, while on my GW6 classic I easily get 48+ hours, using it the exact same way.

Was that always the same? I only ask because at this point the battery on that watch 4 is 2 years old.
This is a prime example of usage can very by user. I get 48hrs on my gw4 classic and i use always on display when im at work(8-9 hours both days). For me, the watch face is what made the major difference.

What is the difference between the 43 mm and 47 mm battery? Could you give some stats like how much is the difference in the backup between the watch 6 classic 43mm version and the 47mm version based on usage?
From what I've heard, the battery should last around the same on both sizes. The 43mm has a smaller screen so obviously uses less power. I believe even though the battery sizes are different, they are relative to the watch sizes. That's the theory anyway.
@@MIA-ow2js That's correct and makes sense but seems most users going for the 47mm is because of the battery. I was wondering if the ~100mah difference is significant to the screen difference of just .2 inch
I was hoping if @CJKnowsTECH could provide the real feedback based on similar usage on the two versions.
@@suvadipdutta8082 I'll hand it over to the maestro to confirm 😁. I feel most will lean towards the 47mm just for that extra bit of real estate on the wrist. If the word got out that the battery life was the same on both models perhaps more people would go 43mm as it probably suits the average size wrist a bit nicer.

at first i was afraid i had a faulty one, that is a galaxy watch 4 classic in my case, but my dad also has one and it's the same story on his one.
Contemplating trading in my 5 pro for the 6 classic. My biggest concern though is durability. I work outside all day long and the watch every now and then can take a bit of an impact. I plan on putting a Spigen cover on it like I do every watch. One thing I am overly concerned about is the environment I live in is agricultural based and there is a lot of dust in the air all the time. How will that affect potentially getting underneath the rotating bezel. Any thoughts?

You can buy a screen and bezel protector really cheap
The rotating bezel doesn't have mechanical parts underneath, i believe. It supposedly uses a magnetic sensor

You cannot backup your watch 6 on a Pixel as of now. They took away manually backing up your watch

Battery life is still pretty poor compared to other smartwatches (Garmin, Amazfit, Huawei Watch GT). And the accuracy of health and - the most important for me - sleep tracking is not good. My phone is the S22 Ultra and I have bought Samsung watches in the past (Watch 3, Watch 4), but they still lag behind Apple Watches when it comes to sensors... Sadly.
My 6 picks up my naps. My garmin tactix has never! Picked up a nap and i hate that it counts steps when im not even walking

What I didn't like about the watch 6 classic is that you cannot get the silver one with a black band. At least I don't see the option.

I only use always on display when I'm going out and want to flex my watch face. If I'm working or at home I trun It off

i leave mine on all the time, since it's a watch, i expect to be able to look at it and see the time. 😀. Also, if I'm home, the battery isn't really an issue since i can charge it any time.
People cry over the battery I could care less long as I can make it home🤣🤣

I have Samsung galaxy watch 46mm (2018 version). For the water resistant, I think it is doing great. I washed my watch with dish soap and toothbrush regularly like every month or 2 months and it is still working fine until now (it's 4 years old now).
Why is nobody talking about real problems in this devices? LTE versions are overheating when using LTE data. My do with in 20-30 sec after i turn on LTE. Some people watches last longer but all of them overheating.
I don't have a LTE version I always get Bluetooth

@@cezarymalinowski1730 huh? I have 4 Galaxy Watch 6 models. 2 Classics both sizes and 2 regular 6's both sizes. I never review LTE models a lot of people don't. Also LTE models have a history of overheating I'll mention it in the upcoming videos tho
@CJKnowsTECH hmmm. I had 5 pro lte and 4 classic lte and never had a problem with overheating. Just 6 lte for me have a problem.

most of the sensors are not accurate at all so what is the point of the rotating bezel? just the feel and the look? useless. I regret buying this watch

are there people who are in the market for both? because neither works great outside of the ecosystem, I'd think you'd use apple if you're an Apple user and Samsung if you're an Android user.

Yeah the fact that Samsung only allows ECG, and Blood Pressure to people that buy one of their phones is lame. Having that life saving health feature only available to people who buy one of their phones is really a low move by Samsung...but it's all good. I like my G6 Classic 47mm and G6 44mm they are both nice. But still think it's lame of Samsung though.
Really sad to see Samsung does not have AWU alternative .... i am no longer Apple user... i switched my 14 pro and watch ultra for s23 ultra and GW5 pro.... theni got myself z fold 5 ... now i love the fold and the .s23 ultra and i like them way more than my iphone .... but Samsung watches.... no matter which model are not even close to AWU... sensors are absolute trash in comparrison and they are so far away of accurate ita not even funny. Basisally they can measure even more things than Apple ,but it does not matter when data is so far away from reallity.
