They are both fantastic watches. The Apple is very solid. However, I feel like the 6 Classic is nicer looking and fun to use with the rotating bezel. That being said - I’ve had to restart my Galaxy Watch Classic a couple of times due to the screen going out. Some kinda glitch. No issues ever with Ultra.

Samsung fan boy here, buuuuut....... have to accept that Apple watches are currently better, even though the Watch 5 Pro from Samsung has an amazing battery life.
I have booth and hands down the samsung watch is better sleep heart oxygen health is way better the apple apple you have to pay for apps to even get close to samsung now with crash detection the depth meter and the alarm is better then samsung but for the price samsung is way better plus it's customizable.
I just bought one and icl.... just no. Android phone > iPhone sure, but the apple watch in my eyes will always outshine the classic 6. My 4 year old apple watch was smoother with better battery than the 43mm 6 classic.

That being said, the Apple watch overall better watch, Samsung watches have always been a helper device, not a primary use device. On a side note, Samsung watch just have a more grown-up feel in my opinion
One looks like a watch and one looks like a tablet with a watch band strapped to it. Apple needs to come around to a traditional watch with a round form factor. I have the G6 Classic and have retired my apple watch simply because one looks like a watch and one does not

In my opinion the ultra is for more of the rugged look but the square is getting old in my opinion but the classic looks classy and more professional but both watches are great. I have had both watches and the ultra I will say is a smoother experience but the classic has the rotating bezel and I like that a lot. Can not go wrong with either.

@@hummerchine I dunno what to tell you, but I'm looking at dozens of Google searches on watch forums and other uses and they all say titanium scratches more easily, but it's much easier to recover. it doesn't chip away like steel does. Titanium is also more resistant to breaking under weight.

For that price and things they offer, I take Classic 6 any day, any night. Yes Apple has better OS in iOS and better accuracy in some cases, but for a casual user like me, I'll take 6 Classic. I am quite disappointed with the new Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. It fails in one of the key reasons to get one of these watches... sleep tracking. There are a ton of threads on Samsung message boards talking about how sleep tracking is just bad, often reporting 0-5 minutes of deep sleep, a problem that does not exist with earlier Galaxy watches.
Thought to get the classic for the bezel, but it's much more expensive and bulky for my small wrists. I had a Huawei gt 2 pro (got water damage after swimming), but I got the galaxy watch 6 for the lightness and it's amazing with how the screen looks and still looks stylish.
I'm glad Samsung is working with a certain company I don't remember the name of the company they're partnering with but hopefully soon Samsung will make the accuracy way better. I think I got the info here on RUclips but I can't remember.
Well on my Samsung watch classic 6 I'm getting up 4 days battery life after 2 weeks owning always connected to my Pixel Fold plus working 16 hours days some days I forgot to charge no worries.
I prefer GW classic as I prefer traditional watch look it just looks more professional and besides I won't use those outdoor features of the apple watch ultra and it's like 300 bucks more expensive
My weekly rotation is the AW 7 and the GW 6 Classic. Apple watch still has the edge in terms of integration with all apps. I do like the watch face customization with Samsung. Apple gets the nod here.
The cost factor is also worth considering. The watch ultra will only ever get that academic discount, while Samsung does aggressively discount their smartwatches. We've seen 50% off the MSRP often. The cost of entry into the best of Samsung ecosystem as such is much lower. Keep in mind that Smartwatches don't hold their value at all as disposable tech.

I think this is something that usually goes unnoticed, and being the primary way the watch gets your attention, I feel it makes a difference. Looks are subjective to everyone. Which watch actually gives accurate health information? Emergency response features, etc? Which watch does more stuff accurately? I have had both apple and galaxy watches. Apple watches have been more precise in all of its features that i mentioned above than galaxy watches. I have been an apple and samsung guy for a long time now. Apple phones just stay the same. I guess " if it's not broken, then don't fix it." Has been apple's motto. When it comes to phones that is. But samsung is just killing them with innovation. The ease of the keyboard and doing things on a daily basis is just better on a samsung. The apple watch is so much superior to Galaxy, which is why i still prefer to rock my iPhone. So samsung, please get with the program and come out with a watch that is accurate in health information, steps, etc so i can rock my s24 the more superior phone imo. Apple please make a new phone, add a pen, change the keyboard, etc. Or just merge the two companies and make something great for humanity.

I prefer the round face of the Samsung and the brightness of stainless steel over titanium, plus you could always put a titanium strap on the Samsung. The only reasons I'd pay more for the Apple watch would be the battery life and supposed accuracy of readings.

I got both and I love them both. I see it as my samsung is my daily driver and casual wear. If I am going in for like a meeting or something professional or important, I'd take my apple watch. I sleep with both cause I like seeing how they compare.
This was a great video. I really really want to like the apple watches but they just look horrible in my opinion. Functionality is obviously way better with an Apple watch but the shape and watch face offerings (look like digital cartoons) are just so ugly. The solution is definitely, Apple need to make a round watch! Apple watch is 800 bucks double the price of galaxy watch classic. It better have longer battery life and made of a stronger material. But considering the price the galaxy watch is a better deal, plus you can use the galaxy watch on any android phone compare to the Apple watch your stuck on only the iPhone.

Im glad to know with the Apple watch if I fall off a ship and sink down 70 or 80 meters the Apple watch will still work. The Galaxy watch will have issues once I sink past 50 meters. There's really no need for an Apple Watch to be as large as it is at (49mm) when compared to Samsung's Watch that comes in at (47mm) when Samsung offers Zoom in and out features for us visually impaired RUclips content creators and their entertained subscribers, ( no pun intended to those of us who can't see a damn thing w/o our prescription glasses - like myself). 😅
Although I have a lot of Apple devices, I chose Samsung Gear S3 on my last watch. I liked it in the beginning but over time, many of its features stopped working. Now that watch is RIP. I'm shopping for a new watch and I'm between Apple, Samsung and Garmin. They each have different advantages. I like Apple for its support & features, Samsung for price and Garmin for the look.

Im a Samsung. I recently tried to switch. I found the Iphone keyboard ridiculously more complicated. Iphone keyboard hit twice for a period? Also I use my watch for workouts and steps. Apple does not count steps unles I tap, tap, tap..... Samsung has steps on the face( i chose the workout face) Apple watch I had to download an app to get step counter on the face. Really?? I traded all apple in and got my Samsung.
I own both for me the Samsung beats the Apple out of the box. 1) Easier to read the watch face. Apple have very small design complications and text 2) Louder internal speakers with Samsung when running its hard to hear the Apple Watch 3) Ultra catches on clothing as its much taller 4) Samsung has the Samsung browser, Apple has no browser experience 5) Samsung has Whatsapp built in 6) Samsung watch is 70% cheaper 7) Apple have better watch faces wayfinder and the watch just looks better 8) Apps are expensive to buy with iPhone. 9) Apple pay is brilliant, Samsung Pay does work everywhere 10) Sleeping with an Ultra on is difficult, Samsung is the best here.
Watch ultra should be compared to galaxy watch 5 pro. Classic is really going against apple watch 8 stainless version. iPhone 12 pro max user w/ lastest watch se & Galazy Z Fold 5 user w/ galazy watch 6 classic
Lol why does the Galaxy Watch second hand jump around like that? It just pauses in place when you put the watch "down" and then jumps to the correct position when you "wake" the watch. Samsung could have done better with the animations like if the second hand just faded away when you put the watch "down" and then it fades back in in the correct position when you "wake" the watch. It's graphical design stuff like that that really makes me dislike Samsungs design. OneUI 6 has improved their design but a lot of their UI still looks like it comes from the early 2010's.

Can't imagine paying more than twice as much for an AWU. It looks worse (yes objectively), has fewer customization options, very niche advantages in some areas (such as the rated depth) and even disadvantages in others. That apple tax is brutal.
The apple watch is a better tech gadget, it is more fluid, precise and consistent, but the Galaxy 6 Classic and any previous versions of it, are absolutely way better watches. They look like actual watches, real good looking watches. You put on an analog watch face and people can even think it is a classic analog watch. All Apple Watches look like some Spy kids tech device. It works very well, but I don't think it is something an adult person should be using on the wrist on daily basis, like working or attending to formal or casual events with it. It looks kind of childish for me.

Apple is technically much better in a variety of small ways and has some niche features that may be important to a few people. The Samsung is good enough that most people would never notice the difference but is by far the better-looking watch due to the classy design and choice of watchfaces. In the end, there is not enough difference for a watch to be the deciding factor between the Apple and Samsung ecosystems.
I went from a AWU to a galaxy 5 pro and the galaxy felt like a toy compared to the ultra. If someone never had an Apple Watch maybe theyll never notice idk

Not if you’re relying on these things to monitor your health. The 6 doesn’t even come close to the ultra.

Samsung galaxy w5 LTE version is my go to I'm more of a round watch than a square I'm still waiting for the 1ui update 5 on my galaxy watch tho

I have had both apple and galaxy watches. Apple watches have been more precise in all of its features that i mentioned above than galaxy watches. I have been an apple and samsung guy for a long time now. Apple phones just stay the same. I guess " if it's not broken, then don't fix it." Has been apple's motto. When it comes to phones that is. But samsung is just killing them with innovation. The ease of the keyboard and doing things on a daily basis is just better on a samsung. The apple watch is so much superior to Galaxy, which is why i still prefer to rock my iPhone.
So samsung, please get with the program and come out with a watch that is accurate in health information, steps, etc so i can rock my s24 the more superior phone imo. Apple please make a new phone, add a pen, change the keyboard, etc. Or just merge the two companies and make something great for humanity.

AWU is king but tbh this should be compared to something like GW5P considering those 2 aware in a more of the same category. Imo AWU looks ugly. GW5P looks ugly. But my preference is all rugged watches look ugly lol. That's just my. I have GW6 Classic which don't look rugged but more classy. Great video as always sir

I prefer the round face of the Samsung and the brightness of stainless steel over titanium, plus you could always put a titanium strap on the Samsung. The only reasons I'd pay more for the Apple watch would be the battery life and supposed accuracy of readings.

@dangerous8333 ye if accuracy was really important to me I wouldn't get a Samsung watch. Since I have a galaxy phone it's worth getting the watch to go with it, and i do like it in general, but samsung needs to up their game.

I got both and I love them both. I see it as my samsung is my daily driver and casual wear. If I am going in for like a meeting or something professional or important, I'd take my apple watch. I sleep with both cause I like seeing how they compare.

I really really want to like the apple watches but they just look horrible in my opinion. Functionality is obviously way better with an Apple watch but the shape and watch face offerings (look like digital cartoons) are just so ugly.
The solution is definitely, Apple need to make a round watch!
Also it would be great to be able to use an Apple watch with any phone (I know they won't do this but there were a lot of rumours regarding this) as they would then really dominate the smartwatch market.

Apple watch is 800 bucks double the price of galaxy watch classic. It better have longer battery life and made of a stronger material. But considering the price the galaxy watch is a better deal, plus you can use the galaxy watch on any android phone compare to the Apple watch your stuck on only the iPhone.

I hate the square on the apple. You know it's an apple watch when you see it. But my classic when i randomly pay with it. You get that hey! That's nice! I thought it was a real watch. I am getting a iPhone 15 max this year though and keeping my watch 6 classic. I don't care about the health stuff. It's just for calls and text for me.

Im glad to know with the Apple watch if I fall off a ship and sink down 70 or 80 meters the Apple watch will still work. The Galaxy watch will have issues once I sink past 50 meters. Knowing that fact makes all the difference. 😂

There's really no need for an Apple Watch to be as large as it is at (49mm) when compared to Samsung's Watch that comes in at (47mm) when Samsung offers Zoom in and out features for us visually impaired RUclips content creators and their entertained subscribers, ( no pun intended to those of us who can't see a damn thing w/o our prescription glasses - like myself). 😅
Although I have a lot of Apple devices, I chose Samsung Gear S3 on my last watch. I liked it in the beginning but over time, many of its features stopped working. Now that watch is RIP. I'm shopping for a new watch and I'm between Apple, Samsung and Garmin. They each have different advantages. I like Apple for its support & features, Samsung for price and Garmin for the look.
Correction: I thought Samsung would work with my iPhone as the S3 did. Now, it looks like, as said in the video, it's only with Android. I think, Samsung is out of the running. Now, it's down to Apple or Garmin.

Im a Samsung. I recently tried to switch. I found the Iphone keyboard ridiculously more complicated. Iphone keyboard hit twice for a period? Also I use my watch for workouts and steps. Apple does not count steps unles I tap, tap, tap..... Samsung has steps on the face( i chose the workout face) Apple watch I had to download an app to get step counter on the face. Really?? I traded all apple in and got my Samsung.
I own both for me the Samsung beats the Apple out of the box.
1) Easier to read the watch face. Apple have very small design complications and text
2) Louder internal speakers with Samsung when running its hard to hear the Apple Watch
3) Ultra catches on clothing as its much taller
4) Samsung has the Samsung browser, Apple has no browser experience
5) Samsung has Whatsapp built in
6) Samsung watch is 70% cheaper
7) Apple have better watch faces wayfinder and the watch just looks better
8) Apps are expensive to buy with iPhone.
9) Apple pay is brilliant, Samsung Pay does work everywhere
10) Sleeping with an Ultra on is difficult, Samsung is the best here.
Watch ultra should be compared to galaxy watch 5 pro. Classic is really going against apple watch 8 stainless version.

Lol why does the Galaxy Watch second hand jump around like that? It just pauses in place when you put the watch "down" and then jumps to the correct position when you "wake" the watch. Samsung could have done better with the animations like if the second hand just faded away when you put the watch "down" and then it fades back in in the correct position when you "wake" the watch. It's graphical design stuff like that that really makes me dislike Samsungs design. OneUI 6 has improved their design but a lot of their UI still looks like it comes from the early 2010's.
I feel like this is kind of a un fair video. The Apple Watch Ultra is built and made for hiking and to be dealt with rough sporting things compared to the galaxy watch 6 is ur basic classic smart watch
Can't imagine paying more than twice as much for an AWU. It looks worse (yes objectively), has fewer customization options, very niche advantages in some areas (such as the rated depth) and even disadvantages in others. That apple tax is brutal.

The apple watch is a better tech gadget, it is more fluid, precise and consistent, but the Galaxy 6 Classic and any previous versions of it, are absolutely way better watches.
They look like actual watches, real good looking watches. You put on an analog watch face and people can even think it is a classic analog watch.
All Apple Watches look like some Spy kids tech device. It works very well, but I don't think it is something an adult person should be using on the wrist on daily basis, like working or attending to formal or casual events with it. It looks kind of childish for me.

AWU is not as smart as the GW6C. When I stop running or moving, my SGW6C will pause. The AWU does not. SGW6C is easily the superior watch.
AW does the same, you just need to enable it for some reason. The older AW all had it turned on by default so idk what happened there.

For the price of one apple smartwatch, you can get two Android smartwatch. With every penny counts, save money for tomorrow. Period
Apple is technically much better in a variety of small ways and has some niche features that may be important to a few people. The Samsung is good enough that most people would never notice the difference but is by far the better-looking watch due to the classy design and choice of watchfaces. In the end, there is not enough difference for a watch to be the deciding factor between the Apple and Samsung ecosystems.
I went from a AWU to a galaxy 5 pro and the galaxy felt like a toy compared to the ultra. If someone never had an Apple Watch maybe theyll never notice idk
