Hi .Need your help.I used snap camera for a few years , and even though they shut it down , i had it installed on my mac os and i could still use it.I was using it with obs too , putting the filters in obs .but as of last night , the obs doesnt see the snap camera anymore. sources/video capture device/create new one ,and is everything there but not the snap camera anymore.what can i do ?
I already have this installed but, as usual, I've learned a bunch of tips from you that will make it easy to actually use. Thanks!

Imma give this a shot today, but wondering if these can be used as channel point redemptions. I have a ton of different channel points that allow the viewer to control some OBS scenes and light features so adding this should be fun.

You can hotkey them so I am sure you can integrate them into the channel points system.
Yes, through third party plugins. You essentially map channel points redemptions to specific hotkeys for your masks.
Personally though, snap’s framerate is a little all over the place and I ended up ditching this gimmick
@@WDWRM yup, I set it up and did a stream with it and although it was fun, it was seriously taxing on performance and cpu. Glitchy and really only worked 80% of the time.
Its kinda like the voice changer mod. Its fun for a few….then wore out.
I ditched it right after my stream.
@@Slufooted Interesting about the reliability. I wonder if there's a way to use this, or something else, to post-process a recording so that I can maybe record cam video while streaming but not have it in the stream, then process it afterward to be overlaid for later posting to RUclips.
Alternately, assuming I can beef up my computer sufficiently, a setting to only output video when the app is successfully applying the face mod would be nice. Or maybe freeze-frame the last successfully modded frame.
The one effective technique I use is staying in touch with a financial coach for guidance, it might soft basic or generic, but getting in

oh this is awesome... So I operate the camera and control OBS for our Live streams and my Wife is the Talent... she won't have a clue what is going on.. i'm going to have some fun with this one lol.
Thanks for the video! I will definitely be adding this to my stream. I'm wondering if there is a way that chat can use channel points to trigger this, if so how would I set that up? I currently use Lioranboard for all my other Twitch Triggers and I'm sure I could create another scene but if I want to use a bunch of faces I don't want to have to create a bunch of new scenes. If you have any insight that would be amazing.

Nice Video. I have my snap cam set up to auto trigger for 3 minutes and then auto switch back. Chat activates them using channel points. Took a bit to figure out but is a lot of fun

Tried it out and it works (Using SLOBS, not OBS) but it seems like I can use my camlink as a normal cam and the face filters. Would keep it on, but there is an obvious cam delay while it goes through the face filters. Appreciate the video though, keep up the great work!
