  • I'm revisiting the camera I started my channel out with! The 70d is an enticing choice today, and it's incredibly practical when compared to cameras around its current 300 dollar price tag. Sure, 4k isn't available, nor is in body stabilization, but the things it does do, it simply does well.
    Thanks for viewing!

I used to own a 70D and that got me started on a lot of things with youtube and whatnot. This camera holds a special place in my heart despite all its shortcomings. Sadly, mine retired and was forced to upgrade. Every now and then, I just hold the camera and all the feelings flood back

Just bought one to replace my 600D/Rebel t3i . I always considered the 5D mark ii as the absolute budget multi-tool, but i finally took the 70D for its videos and foldable screen with digitizer.
I don't regret it all ! Fantastic budget device !

I have a 70D which I bought new and a couple other DSLRs. The 70D is magical, IMO.... that's great to come back to on occasion. It has a 'look' to its photos... Just make sure that there's enough light to capture the image.

solid take. I am retiring my 20d with a 70d prob next week and it looks like a great shooter plus I can still use my EF lenses. Also looks great for b-roll video footage.

I still use a Canon 70D. For an amateur, it is a great camera. If you need something 4K, there are programs to make that happen from 1080. So of all the cameras out there in the used world, it is a fantastic choice.

I got mine for $350 today with 4 lenses and a backpack! No charger tho, but it can with a 55mm lense, 18-135mm, 70-300mm, and 10-18mm lense (all canon lenses). I’m blown away by it so far since I started with the canon rebel XTI

reliable A.F. A.F. yes indeed. great vid. keep those Foundational devices alive. (was gonna liquidate mine at K.E.H.) however, this video saved it from the used graveyard. I just couldn't let it go. all my sigma lenses for the 70d cropped sensor won't work on my 6d MkII (the auto focus is cropped A.F.) so I still use em on the 50D and 70D. thanks. keep these vids coming.

You've got a great setup between that 70d and 6dii! I've been debating on snagging the 6dii, but if I do so, I'd have to sell the 70d for it lol. I'm just looking for good AF with my native canon lenses. I no longer have any awesome crop Canon lenses, and the 6dii is looking like a good option!

Hi I'm sorry I took so long to reply to this! I took a little break from RUclips and didn't see this until now lol.
I moved and cannot find mine, but the reader I have is the Olympus brand "XD" card reader. Furthermore, I believe you should be alright if you get a "USB 1.0" card reader (this should just be an older looking one) as this is what I have. I also use a PC not Mac for my photo stuff. I hope this helps and holler it ya need!
