    I do realize that this video will be very boring to some but I’ve had a lot of requests for this since I always show the loading and unloading sped up in a time lapse. Enjoy! 👍

      It was a little boring to watch but nice vehicles! and I would have pushed that beetle to get it over the spot up front you spent more time on that beat all than the other two cars

      Lol that thing just didn’t want to get over that hinge. It has to sit in a small cradle though. If it overshot it then the front bumper would’ve crushed the hood. That’s why it took so long lol

      I enjoyed the video showing the process like this. The time lapses do help speed the process up but for anybody looking to get Into this line of work I feel like its more beneficial to watch.

Now my question is can I move cars during the day starting 7am in the morning and still be home by 7pm. From your experience how much can I bring home a day.

    Thank you for your continuous posts! I enjoy watching them! I am very happy to see you enjoying the fruits of your labor. I do have a question for you. Why would you get a three-car wedge instead of a four or five car? Is it just the sheer expense or that you would need a bigger license or truck? I'm not sure if there would be different laws that would apply. I'm sure you have it all factored in, but I would think more cars is more money.
    BTW, out of all the videos posted by hotshot drivers you're the only one that I enjoy watching. Keep up the good work!

      Hey thanks for that man. 3 seems to really be the magic number based on some very successful people I’ve talked to and from what I’ve gathered myself. It’s really hard to make more appointments than 3 picks and 3 drops and have enough time to execute everything in 1 business day. The time it takes to load and unload factored in with the locations along you’re route seem to really fit 3 vehicles well. If I had 4 or 5 it would take too much time loading and unloading and hitting 4 or 5 different locations. Also consider a route. It’s rare that multiple cars go or pick up from the same location. So even though I could generate more revenue with more cars I’d also be driving out of route more based on the final destination. 3 checks all the boxes for me personally. Plus the towing capacity of the truck wouldn’t handle more than 3.

      @@LoadMizer Now that makes perfect sense! Thank you for taking the time to give me the explanation. Seems like a lot of shady characters out there in the HS trucking industry. As of now it seems like HS may be my next business venture in a few years. Not sure yet if I will go that route because I'm locked up down here in S. Florida for quite a while. You seem to me like a really stand up guy. Keep up the good work and don't forget to work to live, not live to work. Seems like yesterday I was in my twenties. Now I'm 51. Life passes you by quickly. Enjoy every minute you can. Find the balance that works for you. Please keep posting Rick. I'm really bad with names so forgive me if I'm wrong. LOL

    How are you able to run that trailer with the truck bed? Isn’t 65’ the max length you can legally be with a bed?

    • @LoadMizer
      @LoadMizer  2 года назад +1

      Haven’t had any issues other than 1 bored trooper on a weekend in Missouri. The 65’ law was made in the 70’s. I have no control over how long manufacturers make trucks 50 years later.

    • @LoadMizer
      @LoadMizer  2 года назад +1

      If you don’t want to exclusively haul cars then most definitely go with a flatbed. You don’t be able to haul more than 2 on it though. Just keep that in mind. 👍

    • @LoadMizer
      @LoadMizer  2 года назад

      Yes, your combined GVWR can’t exceed 26k if you’re non cdl. So you would have to derate the trailer to 12k in order to be legal.

    Why not place a chalk on the trailer equal distance between the front tire and the rear bumper of the vehicle in front of it? That’s what we were taught in the military…hit at the same spot every time…just an observation.
