In the next 2 updates, they plan to make the dark sea actually have content in it and it won’t just 1 shot you anymore, there will be legendary ships and ship wrecks carrying legendary chests and massive creatures in the dark sea that make white eyes look like a goldfish

I've glitched into the Dark Sea with none of the screen Vfx when a Sky Boat I was on flinged me into it without having any side effects, it has extremely dark clouds and high waters.

Same here, I was afk making a long sail and got absolutely l a u n c h e d into the Dark Sea. The skies were dark and misty with purple clouds/fog obscuring everything, there were constant red lightning strikes aswell, along with the sea being pretty wild.

@@starsilverinfinity yeah, I went in there with a ship that doesn't take damage from rough waters and saw nearly nothing due to insanity 5... other than red lightning, ever so often, and rough water that went like 30% past my keth in height
Im surprised no one else has discovered this already, but if you go into the secret pit with t5 insanity in Akursius, and touch the skeletons in the correct order, your insanity should drop to t1. Once this happens, there should be several grey areas left by the t5 insanity that should eventually fade out, except for one in the dark sea. If you sail towards it, you will find that it is located in the dark sea. If you’ve done the secret, and dont hop servers, you should be able to navigate the dark sea with only t1 insanity. The island is pretty far, but once you get there you will find Mimhere island. I don’t want to spoil too much about the island so you guys can explore yourselves, but you should eventually come across an exotic rarity item the “Mimhere Relic”. The item is exotic rarity and does not seem to be tradeable
This is true! I got to mimhere island and got some op item like "the crown of the mimhere king" which give 50 power, 25 intesity, 75 attack size, and 250 defense .

Yoooo you mentioned our guild member (SpbSerega). Idk how he found that glitch, but it was fun to explore dark sea with him until our ship sunk. We actually lasted for around 20 minutes in a dark sea due to higher stability and constant repair of the ship.

3:56 I think lost and ancient magics are different from the sea curses, sea curses are basically devil fruits in lore.
They also talk about each one of them separately in-game
sea curses are completely different, you are correct
there can only be one (1) user of a curse at a time, as there's only one of each curse
meanwhile the amount of lost and ancient magic scrolls is more than 1

@@warmwater9509 there can be more than one sea curse wielders. In Cirrus Island at Mad Matthew it talks about a person who had multiple sea curses.
@@kiryukazuma7960 you can only use one curse unless you're super lucky and manage to absorb multiple at the exact same time.
the "multiple sea curses in possession" thing refers to kingdoms collecting many curses for the purpose of giving them to their military leaders.
there is still only ONE curse of each type, and the only way to get a specific curse that someone already owns is to kill the person and find the curse again.
@@warmwater9509 it clearly states “The man with multiple sea curses”. It’s specified it down to a single man who is being told to have more than one sea curse. No kingdom was written in Mad Matthew’s journal at Cirrus Island.

There is actually an NPC in Sailor's Lodge that tells you a bit about the dark sea and 'magic pollution', I forgot about it but it was really interesting
It was the guy talking about the epicenter, an endless desert, an obsidian ocean, etc.
One is called Ambanes
And some big ass humanoid opening the sea and yeeting their ship back into Bronze Sea, maybe Poseidon?

Once, i "got" in to the dark seas.
I was going towards a pirate ship (which was at sandfall isle), that got flinged, and came back, when it did, i got everything from being in the dark seas : insanity appearing instantly, change of color of the screen and a huge blast of 1k damage right on my face. The effects calmed down after a few seconds tho

my favorite part of the dark sea is that eventually, insanity will send you messages from yourself and it's very creepy

@@pillrat no we do know. Vetex and tech have confirmed that they do not work in the build system they have designed for the game.
Curses would completely throw a wrench in weapons and fighting style routes and are massively important to the lore allowing a player to affect that is not gonna happen.

I had a gunpowder barrel and placed it on the front of a pirate ship which launched me into the dark sea. I went flying and died in 10 seconds.
I really hope that you must have certain items unlocked by certain levels to be able to explore the dark sea, maybe like a potion where it basically makes you immune to insanity and actually see things in the dark sea. There might even be large creatures though soooo be careful out there
Spoiler for the planned concept of dark sea:
In the future (when the player is around lvl 500), there will be an enchantment that will counter insanity. However, insanity should only be strong when you're really REALLY deep into the dark sea. The dark sea will be having unique items, ghost ships, fruits, sea monsters, and magic weather. There will also be randomized islands there, as well as strong af bosses/npcs. The further you go into the dark sea, the deadlier it gets.

There’s another sea in arcane odyssey . I found this information from the criminal island where u can remove ur bounty , just talk to the npc next door to the bounty removing person
Yea nimbus sea, they talk about the seas a lot. Theres a guy(idk who) and he tells you that after the nimbus sea we have the sky sea so we have to spend more time at the annoying as hell sky
@@arandombee2442there is no "sky sea". You might've confused it with the "SkyHall" kingdom, which is in the nimbus sea and is in the sky

Even with a powerful boat and crew, the dark sea's insanity effect is close to instant death. we should just wait until they add the warding enchantment to the game. (warding decreases the effects of insanity)
Lost/Primordial magics arent the same as the curses mentioned in the story, I think lost magic is mentioned once by enizor

@@osamaqidwai7800 Ren has the inferno ancient magic bc if you finished the story at the end theres a cutscene where you can see blue fire next to him, Morden uses the death curse, King Calvus IV uses aether magic, General Julian uses the glass curse and Randal uses the growth curse
I wonder what it'll be like when it actually releases... (when insanity starts, new sea monsters etc.), maybe we'll even get a Kraken enemy (not sure how it would be added but it would be cool to have an actual kraken to fight)

I wonder how they will add the new seas, will we travel over a part of the dark sea to get to one? Will we need to do some sort of teleportation? Or will it just be an addition onto the base map with a large new portion unlocked

@@roninalpha1285 The fake story the sailor tells gives some hints what its like, and he may have actually been going insane when he was there, hence why the story he tells on how he got out makes no sense, it was probably all in his head.

i remember one time where i "went" to the dark sea while fighting off a marine boat close to sailors lodge, i nearly died from it before the game realized i was still close to sailors lodge as the marine ship had somehow climbed on top of my ketch (back when i used it lol) and made it start going down slowly
I once managed to stack 3 ships on one another with some random guy, I rammed a pirate ship on a coast of an island and it got on top of me, then the guy rammed me and my ship got on top of his, bizzare sight.

also, i hope this bug isn't patched by the time the dark sea gets content, so i can abuse insanity negation

Glitch that gives max bounty
exploiter targeted me in a server and gave npcs at silverhold max bounty so when i killed them it gave me max bounty (i was unaware)
Exploiters are having a time with this game, if something seems ridiculous like your bounty being wack or suddenly losing all your stuff it’s likely because of an exploiter so always record your stats and items before leaving just in case.

@@SiIIyLittleGoober a few days after release there was an exploit going around that let exploiters force trades to be accepted, making it so you lost anything you didn't have equipped, but it got patched within the same day so you don't have to worry about it
