Are there other arcanium parts? Like a magma ram or a shadow cannon? I've seen another person with the snow ram and you have the magma cannons.

how to infuse magic in a canon
Fell in love with this game after seeing how in-depth the ship customization and battles were, brings me back to good ol' black flag.

Both rams and cannons are affected by the magic's stats that they are infused with (so if you had light your cannons and rams wouldnt do much but would be very fast)
Magic speed stat doesn’t affect the speed of projectiles (since there’s no stat that affects projectile speed for canons), but their range. For example magma canons have half as much range.
So please stop spreading misinformation.

I never thought cannon thats shoots magic exist in this game. A pirate attacked me with a magic cannon and I thought they were using their magics while the captain is controlling the ship
Yeah magic cannons are op. When I first got the plasma cannon, I thought it was just a skin for the cannon, but then it literally started shooting purple stuff and did crazy damage

cant wait for the metal cannons with no range but like 3x damage multiplier unenchanted
i have them, the damage multiplier is not 3x, and a reg cannon ball does around 300-400 damage but has less range than a dense

i can oneshot sailboats with lesser metal ram with like no startup, also metal ram is like same speed as the other

Helpful note to make is that the magic of the cannons come from the owner when building them. For instance: a warrior who builds arcanium cannons will not benefit, but if a magma user builds the cannons the gifts them to thr warrior, the warrior can use the magma cannons
what if you build them as a warrior and gave them to a magic user? will it imbue magic or not

Is there a way for a Magma user to get a non-magma but still magic-infused cannon, or should I just maybe get a bronze carton add or a bronze culverin, since magma cannons are some of the worst cannons in range.
@@jessicaorisaaclaemmle6905 you can either ask another mage or magic-build to give you some or make an alt account and hunt them. As a non-magic user, i just get base arcanium and trade them to alts to get every cannon type
To get bronze sealed chest you have to sink any ship using your cannons , so many players are trying to sink ships with their magic or just kill the entire crew 😭
Yeah it's pretty annoying, especially near sailors Lodge. Kinda wish the servers were kept at 5 players now lol

Just don't stick near high traffic areas? All I do is farm ships and I've never had an issue with that
You don't even need to kill the crew. Either run away with the chests or one time I took too long killing the crew and the destroyed ship despawned leaving the floating chests behind
I have a feeling the type of magic you will get on a cannon or ram when you open sealed chests is completely based on your magic or magics.

I have lesser electric cannons and they actually have a FAT range buff! I can shoot heavy cannon balls and it will go as far as normal cannon balls will. Idk what the other effects do since I just pay attention to sinking them and getting cash! I did get a electric ram but sold it. I think I got some more stuff but I gtg check. I almost sunk 100 ships >:D

Ayyy, I have the same lesser Lightning cannons and I can range any ship coming for a ram
Same with light the range buff is insane. Though they don’t do as much damage with a 1.9 damage multiplier un enchanted so I used a strong enchant and now they are as powerful as heavy bronze cannons with 2 times damage multiplier.
I am 99% sure that when you get a magic canon or ram it will be what your magic is, I got multiple canon and ram blueprints and they were plasma (the magic I had for that save)

Does the drop for magic canons depend on sp in magic? Since I have done a lot of sealed chests and haven't gotten a single magic Canon only a lesser ram

worst part is if you got no magic you get lesser arcanium cannons which don't have any special effects, same with rams, at least they have good stats
So that's why I got those "lesser arcanium cannons/ram" and they didn't really use magic or do anything special... I had Poison Magic but chose a Berserker build because I wanted to try something new after lots of WoM playing and experimenting, and it turns out to have been a hella large mistake. If they could actually use magic, I'd be really strong in ship combat for once... I wonder if I can trade for other players arcanium ship weapons with magic types and have them work
@@OdinJrthesecond laddie, with a berserker build you don't even need ship cannons to be strong in ship combat: cannon fist makes *you* the cannon
@@ericraululyeetusdelyeetus5028 chests only spawn on ships if you sink them with your own ship, meaning destroying them with fighting styles, weapons, or magic wont spawn chests
@@womp47 true, true, doesn't mean you can't deal the bulk of damage with cannon fist, and finish them off with a well placed ram

OH I GOT EXPLOSION MAGIC CANNONS, the first arcanium weapons I've gotten. And even better is that I have explosion magic! I think explosion magic gives even more range too
heads up for that, you can only get magic cannons and rams of the element you have. this also works for awakening elements. for example i have explosion and ash, and ive gotten like 6 explosion cannons and 3 ash rams. you can use magic cannons of elements you dont have, but you will need to trade with someone who has the element to get them. from what ive seen people seem to want to trade for explosion magic cannons a lot

I thought all rams had magic infusion because i didn't notice that mine had arcanium because i got wood magic and it showed as a wood ram
i think your the only guy to actually get the wood magic i not once seen a wood player
On a side note while the weapons are technically rarer I find that at lvl 125 as long as you have a ram you could reallly just ram 3 ships to death open the sealed chests a and get more than a few lesser arcanium bps from my experience
There is a high risk high reward thing we’re if a magic type hits your cannons and maybe ram they get that magic type for a short period of time and it’s high risk because ya ship gets damaged (got hit by a fire magic pirate or assassin the cannon turned red and my next shot was like a fire ball from it)
BTW!! you can expand how much magic storage you have, and you can enchant the cannons to have more range (pretty sure its amplified or bursting not sure)
It’s amplified for more range and strong for more damage.
I have both and i dont like THAT much cuz of the range multiplier BUT i like it with the amplified enchant and it works pretty well
what does amplified enchant do? does it give it extra range because I would prefer the culverin cannons due to their longer range over the magic ones ngl
@@Joe-yb8ey amplified adds more range. Magic ones are typically stronger but it depends on the magic like light doesn’t deal as much damage but has really good range in enchanted so I used a strong enchant. You need to check the stats of the cannons and decide based on those. I wouldn’t recommend culverins though since although they have range they don’t deal as much damage. I would recommend getting a high damage cannon and just using an amplified enchant on it.

Some of you might not know this detail but arcanium cannon/ram blueprints can turn into the magic you have on a separate slot. So for example you have a light magic slot and still retain that magic on the said slot, you can build the arcanium ram/cannon and it will turn into a light ram/cannon.
Fighting with a Magic ship was wild, with the added circling and broadsides.
i hope vetex will add the crew feature to be more helpful in taking ships. Like they attack with you when you board a boat.
Exactly I’m tired of dying because you have to solo an entire crew and sometimes the captain is like level 119 and I almost kill him but die.

The tactic I use to fight those annoying level 200 navy captains is to hide under their boat spam aoe and if they still aren't dead climb up and kill them

i noticed that when you hit cannons with your magic, they glow the color. Unsure if it does anything
idk if its the same for all magics but when i hit the cannons with plasma and then shoot them while they glow pink the cannon balls fly really fast and far
@@kaisel_ it's a buff because of some element are able to do elemental reaction w metal. such as plasma, lightning , etc. they all give diff buff

I've gotten like 4+ lesser explosion rams yet no lesser explosion cannons
Edit: like 30 mins or an hour after commenting this i got lesser explosion cannons

You also only find arcanium enchanted things that are of your magic (or 2nd magic if you have one) the only way to get other magics is through trading
I wonder if a caravel with a good ram is better than ketch? Also, what happens to your 2 additional deckhands you have on ketch when you switch to caravel?
Everytime U switch ships all the stuff you had on it unequips. In terms of ketch vs ram caraval, they’re both viable but personally I do ram caraval because it’s funner and more manuverable. Also good rams do stupid amounts of damage (sometimes 1000+ in one hit).

my caravel has 5650 hp already so i use caravel over ketch
@@xpertrex5991 I know that, I'm talking about deckhands(the guys you need a lot of fame to recruit),you don't get them in the inventory, they just replace crew on your ship.
they get put in purgatory until you fire some others. I'm pretty sure they don't get to contribute to stats either.
My first ram was a lightning ram, and i got lightning cannons 3 chests later
I also got like 2 more lightning rams, and lightning cannons in 30 minutes
cannons and rams (i think) are depending on what magic you wield, i had 2 magic (explosive and lightning) and all i got were infused cannons with those 2
Correct you will only get what type of magic u have.
If you have 2 magics, you can get both variants of Arcanium ship parts, and the ones infused with your second magic are usually better than the ones with your 1st magic

Heavy bronze carronades outdo lesser magic cannons in terms of damage.
So if you’re looking for raw unstopping power, you could go for that.
Issue is they heavy. Too much speed loss for the dmg diff between the two
@@jusarson7237 that is true, although it is still very useful if you’re going for the higher damaging cannonballs, since the damage gap gets larger. So like, dense cannonballs or heavy/normal explosion cannonballs are very strong with it
Is your magic type magma? The wiki said you need magma magic to find magma cannons.

I got like 3 lighting cannons and 1 lighting ram I believe you get the element you pick for your character
type from chests are based on your magic when you find them I guess, gotten only ash so far. the stats also seem dependant on magic, my ash got 1.9 damage, .7 range, 2 delay, 5 reload. sadly ash clouds and petrify dont really contribute in ship battles

i made my ship fully battle ready and got into my first fight with a reinforced pirate ship, i had a ram and everything, and then a marine ship sailed its happy [rude word for donkey] to my ship and right infront of my ram

I found out about Magic Ships when running away from a bounty hunter who proceeded to ram my ship using lighting rams... rip my bounty
the magic type actually varies on your magic im pretty sure as I got lightning cannons and I've never seen someone without matching arcanium
i remember seeing someone with light cannons so those exist too
culverins have some cracked range and dont reduce your speed as much, even with bronze. you can snipe ships with a ketch and then be able to run away

i have lightning magic, i still didnt get arcanium cannons, but one day i shot one of my cannons with a lightning blast and it turned yellow and started making lightning effects, did i like charge it or smth?
i should mention you can only get arcanium equipment thats the same type as the magic you chose when starting off
(i.e if you chose plasma its only possible for you to get plasma rams or cannons)
its a "lesser" one theres normal good and greater versions

Yo Territory I have the magic magma ram and the lesser magma cannons like what you have but I don’t use the magma cannons because of the range but the magma ram does a tiny bit better than the snow ram

i never got another magic ship thing ever i litterally got more pulsars and axe slash things than magic cannons and rams
