Very nice videos, thanks for taking the time to make them. I have always wondered how transceivers work and how to troubleshoot them. My prior experience has been mainly in A/V equipment repair for last 20 years. I'm really enjoying the learning process from you. I can't wait to troubleshoot and repair a transceiver soon! The more I watch, the more I want to learn, you are an awesome teacher.

Great video again. Please make more.
technos123 thanks a lot
Hi Peter, excellent video. All your videos are excellent. Thank you very much for sharing your information and experience. If I could ask you a question Peter? I'm trying to purchase an R & S CMT 54. What options do you have installed on your tester? If I was to purchase the unit with options B1 (OCXO oscillator) B4 ( IEC 625/ IEEEE488) and B8 (HF Millivoltmeter) that would be sufficient for maintaining and service of CB and ham radio. The more options the greater the price. Advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Regards, Paul
+Lampmanpaul Hi ,Paul, thanks for feed-back! Regarding CMT. I have the OCXO and HF Millivoltmeter installed. OCXO is very important but I never used the HF Millivoltmeter as I have a separate one..
Hope that helps. 73
Thanks for the very informative video..
You are welcome
Thank you.
I laughed a lot at 25:45
Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks for watching
Nice class
Thanks Buddy
Excellent save. It seems a terrible waste to throw out stuff because of small alignment, error especially if we had a twiddler.
+Peter Walker Yeah that is right but if you see the prices for new cb radios... no way to fix those cheap electronic.
great tutorial but did you ever get it working right and was the owner pleased.
mike charette I didn't put to much effort in to it, as you can buy such radios for under 10€ at the bay. But it was welcome for tutorial purposes. In the earlier days when it was worth to repair this type it was usual to do such repairs and those radios works satisfying. By the way the owner has a brand new radio by now.
