So what about the beard. Sting was in the mood. Great performance by two legends particularly Stevie. Wish he had sung background some too. Maybe some scat at the end.
perfect love gone wrong - one example of the french lyrics he foists upon his songs out of egomania. his last album sacred love was pretty weak. true, sting has written some terrific songs, but mostly 20 years ago, ie fragile and the police stuff.
You'd figure that Stevie would have remembered some of the harmonica parts he originally recorded - or at least not hit so many wrong notes. Sting did great - Stevie not so much. Could've been great, but it's obvious Stevie didn't prepare - thought he could wing it. He finally remembered it towards the end.
