There are a couple of interesting more moments: - Alice's necklace. Jo grabs it at the beginning of her call with Alice in Ep 1 but later returns for it just before securing herself in Soyuz 1. - "Our" Alice always has braids with red hair ties, a red beanie, while the "other" Alice wears ponytails with blue hair ties, a blue beanie. The "other" dimension seems to have more blue hues in details in general. Also, it seems like the "other" Jo maybe still (alive?) on the ISS. I suggest listening with close captioning or audio description turned on. Sometimes information being seen visually is not as clear when described. Alice did not see Wendy throwing her rabbit in the puddle, that was the alternate Alice throwing the rabbit in the puddle. Also, there is quite a bit of cultural lore regarding wolves and twins from indigenous belief to the founding of Rome. I'm not sure if the tree was a memorial, but it is a tradition in star city to plant a tree in your name before you go to space, so Paul Lancaster planted that tree and his crewmates are visiting.

Dark is about different time periods.. if Netflix didnt stop 1899 (same creators as Dark), it could have been more like Constellation. Sadly we will never know :(
Well, having seen ep4, we can now clearly say that Constellation is all about quantum entanglement and the "observer effect". And I'm pissed, because, once again, the author had it all wrong about the signification of "observer effect". Observer effect is in fact, a misnomer. It has nothing do to with the observer (even less her/his mind, lol). It all revolves about what you need to "shine" on what you wanna "observe" or "look at". If you try to shine something on it, the very energy you're using to "light it up" will blast it away from the observed scene. That's the observer effect. "The very fact of observing it makes it impossible to observe". Because, at the sizes we're talking about, photons, e.g, are cannonballs.
I wonder if future Jo and present Jo are the same people. I do think they are but then what happened to the other Jo. I believe we haven't seen her yet. She could be dead though since we saw Paul in another dimension at a grave site with flowers. I also believe Paul was the one who opened the hatch. There's a lot of flaws in my theory beaus it seems like Alice, Jo, Bud, Henry and Irene are the only ones who can cross/see both dimensions so how would Paul be able to do that. Unless in that dimension he can.
My theory within a theory is it requires direct touch, Jo touched hands with Paul and later holds her daughter’s hand. This is creating a connection between all three, and since Jo and Bud have shaken hands now, I’m curious if they’ll begin to interact more. But yeah I definitely believe Jo didn’t survive in her own universe, I would lean more towards Paul helping her escape as she was already seeing instances were he seemed to be alive though it’s possible it could be her alternate self.
Exactly. You have a good point here. "What happened to the other Jo" Is she still alive and on the ISS? Is the real Jo ended up in the wrong place or the other way round. I checked the figure on the soyus port window who did help Jo to unlock the capsule, and I'm sure it's her other her. Not Commander Lancaster. I noticed in any trailer that she says that she has to go back to her.
@@ChrisHeep Using terminology like “real” doesn’t fit well into what is happening in this series. BOTH are “real” from their own perspective. BOTH are variations from the opposite perspective. In reality ALL versions of events are as real as each other and as unreal as each other, that’s the point.
To me, none of it reminds me of Interstellar. That was pretty straight forward. Time dilation was the key. What it does remind me of is the Colverfield Paradox. They had a science experiment in space to find a subatomic particle and in doing so it caused a transdimensional transit. Henry and Irene must have passed through dimensions. It could be that it has to do with the sub atomic particle that Henry is looking for, exists only in the Van Allen belt of radiation (I saw that conversation as a hint). The two of them interacted with the particle through natural means but Jo was exposed to it because the device attracted the particle and it passed through her and was trapped in the device. The only reason that Henry is the one that can see the particle's interaction is because he is from the dimension where it is happening. To use his example: The phone is seeing the particle as white, but he is seeing the particle as black. BTW, if you check out IMDB you can see that they did something smart and cast the role for Alice with twins! If they are fraternal twins instead of identical, that would make it even smarter because there would be very subtle differences between the two. Maybe that explains the scar?
I did see a post from someone who knows the twins playing Alice and said they were switching them out randomly so that it’s not the case that one is playing Alice A and the other Alice B
And an Astronaut doesn't know what an Allen Wrench is, to put together some Ikea Furniture🙄. She should have just grabbed it and said "Here you go" and not "Is this it?" That being said, I don't think "Shift/Print Screen" would have mattered, because the point was, only he was able to observe it. So if anyone else observed it, they would only see the single particle. So in a sense, the phone was a different observer and didn't see it, only he did. It's the observation concept but in reverse.
The scene with the bunny that gets stopped. Both Alice. Look at the pants and the brown boots. They are the same. Alice saw herself (bottom half of body) step on the bunny. The friend was not wearing boots. For some reason Alice can exist in both dimensions/realities. I think. Lol

There are def two Jo’s. They swapped realities. In one reality, Jo and her family are together and Alice doesn’t speak Swedish. In the other reality, Jo and the dad are separated and Jo was either having an affair, or her and the husband already separated.
That scene at Paul’s grave was nuts. It means that she was able to swap realities and see the other reality where Paul survived and where the other version of herself was dead. This kind of makes me think there might actually be three Jo’s & three realities. Two Jo’s that swapped realities/daughters. And then a third Jo that died.
Could be, but I reckon she rational (the trailer proves that). She wants to go to the bottom of all that. Maybe Paul gave her the best advice on the grave by saying that.

I believe that people from both dimensions or several dimensions are getting intertwined with each others especially those close to the device
Why I say several it’s because even when a version or Irene and Henry are said and have been seen to be dead some other version of themselves are still popping up
And either there’s some who understand how to continue living as if nothing happened like Henry and Irene does living in both or several dimensions at the same time
Either they have difficulties doing so like our main characters and her daughter currently
It’s most likely that Irene and Henry are conducting this same experiment again either to fix themselves to stop crossing dimensions or continue to explore more on the effect on our main character first before to do it themselves
It’s likely that the other spaceship crew members will slowly starting to experience the same things but it’s probably depends on the time spent close to the device I guess

@@ObsessiveGeek Entanglement!
All VERY good points. Appreciate your thoughts!
I did see a post from someone who knows the twins playing Alice and said they were switching them out randomly so that it’s not the case that one is playing Alice A and the other Alice B
They went to space and came back to an alternate reality
So a scientist doesnt know a PC has screenshot function and has to use his phone to take a photo.
there will always be those kind of things. same as how is it that an International Space Station cant have unlimited solar power.
It's the observation concept but in reverse.
this give me more of "DARK" vibes, rather than interstellar
who hits the bytton?
The other Jo
The scene with the bunny that gets stopped. Both Alice. Look at the pants and the brown boots. They are the same. Alice saw herself (bottom half of body) step on the bunny. The friend was not wearing boots. For some reason Alice can exist in both dimensions/realities. I think. Lol
Yeah, a couple others have pointed this out and I think you’re right.
@@TheorySmack When the season ends I'm gonna have to rewatch it. I know I missed a lot of little details. 😫
This is basically Returnal the show.
If I find out that all this is a simulation or coma or other crap like that game, i'm gonna be pissed af
@@damiresq I am pretty sure it will be some kind of psychosis tbh. The pills they all get... Kinda sus to me.

If one has any experience with how tv/movies are dealt with in post, I do not believe the dates are errors. They are so obvious someone could loose their job over that many of the same type of boo boos. If they are errors then I couldn’t possibly continue with a show with that level of sloppiness. This show is based in different time lines, time here matters. Three mistakes, not sure I can accept that. Not anxious to see a second season at this point.
This is a weird mix of Interstellar and Dark
Hi! Thank‘s a lot for your Video. I appreciate and agree with you on all things so far. And the
person left behind on the window who releases the clamps is female. You have been noticed many things I haven’t. yet. l'm already watching it for the third time and just noticed that
even BEFORE the accident when Jo speaks to her daughter Alice via the Ipads (at the very beginning) that
Alice is wearing different clothes. Why is that??
How can you tell they are female?
@@ObsessiveGeek I have the latest 4K equipment and l'm sure that it is (most likely) a female person. I'll check it again now.
@@ChrisHeep 4K or not, they’re still shrouded in shadow.
The fact you need to check again tells me it wasn’t really all that clear it was a female shape.
@@ObsessiveGeek I just checked again and I'm sure now. It is a female shape. Definitely not Commander Lancaster. Even without 4k. Check out the hair.
@@ChrisHeep You stated you already were sure yet had to check for a fourth time.
To me that’s not sure at all.
The shape is not clear enough to make out any details, I feel you’re just convincing yourself of something that’s not there.
I’m open to the possibility it is her alternative self though for now it is a mystery and that’s fine.
I don't see the scar. Wish it's more noticeable.
I don’t think the scar is relevant. Alice is played by a set of twins so I think they just use the interchangeably
I can’t imagine it’s insignificant. But, we’ll see
It is relevant. There are two different Alice’s.
I did think the alternative version of Alice looks slightly different, I was seriously impressed with her acting ability to manage to hold herself in a manner that made her “other Alice”
Though definitely makes sense if they just cast twins lol
agree Karla... just a continuity error... because the 'right' Alice keeps alternating in the same scene
@@lyricallarrikinone is a ghost, a memory = the one that also has paranoid delusions its the alice personification.
Jo is dead in one uni and alive in another, but she is dead in the wrong one and Lancaster is alive in the wrong one and she is alive in the wrong one and both unis are mushed up and there is no secret anymore besides how the hell they will continue the series for the next episodes or seasons.

I think you pretty much have it down. Interstellar vibes.
In my experiences, there is never a right alice. Lol
.
Old and good book. Alice doesn't live here anymore.

Mama and Mommy
Why did they make the show so complicated/confusing, no one knows what the hell is going on?
I kind of like it honestly. Audiences/the internet have just gotten so good at figuring things out quickly, so this complexity is welcome on my part.
Yeah you kind of missed the whole concept of the show it is not wait and see
Care to enlighten me, then?
Maybe Paul gave her the best advice on the
grave by saying that.
[spoiler] bruh, I'm watching the 4th episode right now and wowwowo I was right about the 3 Jo's and 3 realities. lmao
Everything is better with a male actor from Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul. The women actirs in both, but more in Breaking Bad were really annoying.
the daughter pissed me off... and emotions getting in the way of great success its frustrating. science prevails. interesting how people just get the superficial !
I’m getting pretty sick of having to look up the intention behind every show nowadays because their all so scant garde abstract and edited to be a confused cluster fuck. It better get better soon.
I am so tired of parallel universe/multiverse whatever garbage, its so used and it always always end up getting really dumb
