Oh Jill....my heart goes out to you! The first 13 minutes of your video could’ve been ME talking. Even my husband who overheard it said “wow you guys could be sisters!” because we literally have the same exact symptoms, anxieties, and phobia of vomit. Plus since I had my daughter 5 years ago, my physical and mental health has been CRAZY!! When you said that you haven’t been the mom, wife, or person that you want to be I almost cried....that’s been me for years. My daughter has only seen me sick and broken😞 I started seeing a naturopathic doctor but I can’t afford to keep up with her. I really do need to get back with her and redo my gut kit! I’m so very glad that you’ve found some answers! Yes, you will definitely feel worse before you get better, and I had bumps all over my thighs and upper arms for years...turns out that was from gluten. That should clear up quick! I’ve been gf for a few years, and it did calm my IBS but I’m still battling so many other things. Lately fatigue was added to the list😩 I wish I could talk with you and hug you! I know EXACTLY how you feel and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone! I told my husband I feel like a zombie...I’m just a shell of the person I used to be. I’ll be praying for you! Please keep my healing in your prayers as well. Hugs💕💕💕 Connie
I will keep you in my prayers Connie!!!! I can’t believe how many of you have such a similar story as me!!!! That’s how I feel that my kids don’t even know the real me! They just know my lame tired self not my previous bubbly personality self.
I really hope you feel better, unfortunately regular doctors only give you medication cause the more medication they prescribed they more money they get from pharma
Thanks so much for all this info. I remember watching it when you first posted it and now that my sister has been back and forth in the hospital with nonstop vomiting and nausea, I have rewatched this to get a better idea of h pylori which she might have and other things. She also suffers from anxiety so I appreciate what you said about the gut being our second brain. So thank you so much for posting this. She is seeing a natural doctor when she’s out of the hospital but I’m trying to see what to expect and what other changes she can make. Please post an update of your health if you can.
I came to your video as I am going through digestive issues also, however I want to comment on your fear of vomiting! I thought when you were talking about anxiety on your long drives because your child might throw up, Oh know here is another person like me that is terrified of vomiting! You have my sympathies' regarding this matter. I am 65 and have lived with it all my life! However, I have learned to put vomiting into perspective and manage it much better now, and the thing that helped me was I thought I was alone in this fear, but then I found out that there are many of us out there. It may help you a little to buy a couple of vomit bags and keep them in your car in case your children get sick. At least you won't have to see it, or clean it up! Thank you for this video!
Wow! Our stories are very similar. I lost my baby weight and was in pretty good shape after having my twins who are now 8. Then I had my youngest who is now 4.5 and it's been downhill from there. Weight gain, fatigue, depression/apathy, hot flashes, brain fog, not feeling like a good wife/mother/best version of me like you said. I saw my regular doctor and was mortified by my weight(35-40 lbs up!). She put me on thyroid medication and that was that. I saw her a year later to say I still wasn't feeling great and she said exact words "I think most women your age who are working with children feel like you do." WTF?!?! I need a new doctor. I do not want to feel like this for another 14 years at least. Finally saw a naturopathic NP and we did a TON of blood work and the stool map. I have gluten/dairy intolerances and bacteria/yeast overgrowth. So I started this journey the last week of September. No dairy/gluten/sugar/yeast. I just finished up 8 weeks of supplements to heal things and now I just started the herbs to kill off bacteria yesterday. I'll do 8 weeks of that then 6 weeks to kill the Candida. I've lost 22 lbs! I am not so tired/the brain fog is better. I do not feel much better depression/apathy wise but she said I need to kill off all this junk and hopefully it will get better. This is the hardest thing I've ever done with a restrictive diet and so many pills but it was so overdue. Solidarity! Looking forward to your updates :)
Praying for you!!!! I feel general practioners just work to get you out the door - never truly diagnosing anything. So I understand completely & so glad you found someone to help you!!!! My son has ulcerative colitis- so gut issues I GET!
@@AtHomeWithJill he's doing extremely well!!!! Found a great GI doctor, correct meds & he's doing great! Getting a CORRECT diagnosis & treatment is half the battle!!!!!
Hey love I'm definitely sending prayers your way and I'm so glad you get to find out what was wrong and what was going on inside your body.like you said sometimes you don't know what's going on inside your body and I'm glad you're feeling better and may God place is ever loving hands on you and just know everything is going to be okay he got you
My heart goes out to you for feeling so bad in so many ways for so long!! I hope this new way of ha ing to eat will help you to feel normal again. Praying for your return to health!
It's a lot to handle!!! I have Hashimoto, Sibo, IBD. Finally seeing a functional medical DR. Waiting for GIMap results, LOw Fodmap is not helping, traditional doc really sucks. There is so much to heal and uncover but I'm on my way. Im usually vegan but with all this going on I feel like I can't eat anything. Its really rough but I'm motivated for optimal health. Thanks for your story!!!
Great Video, I have the same hashimotos, SIBO and gut health problems too, good luck, I am on the SIBO protocol as well, boy its so rough! keep the videos coming, great to watch and learn! wish you all the best in your recovery!
Oh girl. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm in the same boat, doctor says is ibs but I'm just bloated all the freaking time, even morning before any meal. I'm desperate, have tested for h pylori but cone negative. I'm going to test for sibo and see. Thanks for sharing your story. Wishing you the best.
I feel you. I have celiac disease which is a severe case of gluten intolerance. I have IBS, vitamin D deficiency, I have had h pylori twice and having higher anxiety, depression and mood swings trying to figure out what's wrong with me
Hi Jill - I’m glad you are getting to the bottom of your issues. I was wondering if you are able to share the doctor who is treating you. I don’t know what state you are in or if your doctor does virtual meetings. Im interested to see what your treatment looks like too. I have my own struggles and can relate to you in many ways. I hope you feel better soon :)
Functional Medicine are the best for these issue and for your hormones, you need to see endocrinologist to get better answer instead start doing keeto or vegan diet you feel a lot better believe me
So much of what you said is my story. Never lost the baby weight from my second child, yet I lost all my baby weight and some by my 5 day post parting check up with my first. I even suffered for so so many years with emetophobia just like you! Seeing a functional health care provider has been huge for me also. I’m currently having vitamin D injections to try and help get my levels within normal range. My endocrinologist (I do have hashi and also parathyroid issues) just kept increasing my D3 dosage and I was taking 90,000iu once a week and still no improvement. And yes the enteric nervous system is HUGE and often overlooked. Many people don’t understand that those GI symptoms, which feel totally real and are really happening, can be caused by anxiety/depression but when this is explained to them they feel like they are being told “it’s all in your head” and that those symptoms are imagined. Not the case at all but they can still be linked. My phobia fear got worse the more time that passed from me actually vomiting.it had been almost 20 years and then I got sick a couple of years ago and it wasn’t as bad as I had built it up to be. Suddenly I wasn’t scared anymore of getting sick or others around me getting sick.
Hi! I’m currently in therapy for my vomit phobia and just learned the name of it! I couldn’t help but notice in your comment. Everything you said is so true!! I’ve had “general anxiety” and undiagnosed GI symptoms for years!!! I’m so glad I’m not alone, but at the same time I’m sad anyone else has to deal with it. I’m also a firm believer that the food we are provided with now is making everyone sick!! Thanks for sharing your story!!💕
there are so many of us going through exact same thing. I've told this to my doctor, but it's like talking to a wall. they are either ignorant or hiding the fact that it takes only natural healing to cure
Totally grateful for the input! My heart goes out to you... I can relate to the restrictions somewhat, I learned garlic and sugar cause me horrible migraines... and its depressing grocery shopping I can't even have fruit because natural sugar still gives me migraines and garlic is in everything else. Can you put all the tests you took in the description?
B12 guys, Check ur b12, it solved alot of problems for me, still have H Pylori and probably SIBO. But B12 supplement got rid of my anxiety, dizziness, weakness
You have chronic fatigue syndrome. I have had for 23 years . I did everything you mention 10 years ago. You have candida for sure . Healing that solves the problems. I am writing a book. Contact me if you want to know the answer.
I have hypothyroid,I get blood tests and see my Dr. every three months.I also have clinical depression and generaized anxiety disorder, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I have cognitive issues, horrible pains, and the worst fatigue, I can't explain the pain and fatigue. I understand. Gassy as well! LOL I hope you find the answer for your health.
Wow, that's a whole lot of information to take in. I think I told you that I am working with a GI doctor to figure out my gut issues. Can I ask, was that a blood test or an allergy test done with the needles to check for intolerances? This video was so informative. I have anxiety as well but mine is driving over bridges. I live in the Houston, TX area and we have super high overpasses. ( LIke 5 stories high) I have started to re route my trips to stay off bridges and because my kids are 18 and 21, I go nuts when they have to drive long distances. My daughter is in college and whenever she drives the 9 hours home from Arkansas, I'm a basket case until she gets home. My son is going to go to college there as well and I'm terrified of them driving home together. It's my quirk, I guess. I feel blessed with my life and I'm a happy, positive easy going person but every once in awhile, I'll have these moments. I think it's interesting that we both have "driving" issues. I believe you when you say it's probably a gut issue. I thank you for sharing your journey to feel better and heal. I have so many of the same symptoms and I look forward to joining you and praying that we both get better soon. I'm starting to think that God brought me to your channel. I became a loyal subscriber because I loved watching your minimalism journey and enjoy seeing all the progress you've made and of course your adorable family. There really aren't coincidences, it's always a sign from God. Hang in there. It sounds like your on the road to recovery.
Omgosh I don’t know how I missed this comment!!!!!! Wow!!! I will be praying for your anxiety about bridges and your children driving!!!! It’s crazy right ? How we can KNOW that the fear is irrational and that we have no control and GOD is in control but yet we still can’t make the fear go away! Only God can! I’ll be praying for you! Keep me updated!
Bless your heart 💖 my son is on a strict diet . I have also done vegan diets. Can you have rice or oat milk? Also the bean pasta is good . We love quinoa instead of rice . I slow cook great northern white beans and blend . I use in any recipe that calls for milk. Like soups etc. Great recipes out there have fun trying new things . ❤️🙏
What where your thyroid antibodies? Mine is 45 and i got them dow to 34. Is this still to high? and I also have low thyroid. My doctor said u dont have hashimotos just hypothyroidism. I was so confused, they never explain anything. I found another naturopat and I tested posetive for sibo. So low in nutrient ,hair loss, constant fatigue, brain fog, depression, cold hands and feet...its been horrible last years....
I would love to hear the full list of what you are intolerant to!!!! I have a gluten free daughter and a daughter with an egg allergy and she has some lactose issues too and acid reflux.
This is me! I have anxiety, depression, mood svings, bloating, headaches, body pain, hair loss, nutrient deficency.and yes i got horrible anxiety attack. Have u tested for ebv also? I tested high on.mercury, sibo, ebv hypothyroidism
I definitely I think I have some gut issues/ stuff that mimics thyroid issues I wouldn't be surprised if I'd like a bacteria thing too. I also definitely get inflammation issues I did go dairy-free and gluten-free for a year because of rest pain I was having it and it definitely helped me. I did end up eating those foods again though. I've been doing an elimination type diet is definitely something that will help you! Even if you slowly add certain foods back in will be able to see if it causes an issue.
Yes I probably will eventually I want to cut back on sugar as well I'm not as concerned about dairy I might just limit it. I LIKE COFFEE CREAMER. 😂 Actually did find a dairy free card that I like but it's more pricey and I do drink coffee. Believe me it's needed for my brain to function. Financially it's a lot.... And even mentally I just don't feel like I'm in the right frame of mind or position right now to be doing it then again it would improve my health and maybe would put me in a better position. 🤷♀️ I think I will try to cut back on things a little bit though in the new year. Do more protein vegetable based meals... Eat more potatoes instead. I don't think I do great on low carb.
A lot of the mental stuff you have us a lot of ADHD stuff I deal with. And hormones make it worse... So like before my period it gets way worse. Unfocused, tired, moody, irritable. Sensory issues are a real thing too like the noise thing.
This is the exact same thing that happened to me. Its torture. I got diagnosed with a thyroid problem and took a thyroid med. It led to a breakdown and uprooted my life.
I see a naturopathic doctor too! They actually look into the root cause, and WHY your body reacts certain ways! When I got my initial report back from a gut kit, she talked me through it and everything she mentioned I was like “aha!” It was so eye opening!!!
@@AtHomeWithJill thank you! I just found one close to me, I may have to look into it. Both my son and I have those bumps on our arms and for a while now I’ve wondered if it was a gluten issue.
Did you find you had irregular periods and felt dizzy with your issues?? I had h pylori when i was 15, (20 now) and was put on antibiotics and 2 days later i got my cycle! I know i have candida right now, but im waiting for my h pylori test to come back which i'm positive is +
So I have heard when you take antibiotics that it’s likely to keep returning. But healing it with herbal medicine is supposed to keep it away. I’m not sure if it will help with the sugars but that’s definitely a good assumption!!!! So I can actually already tell that my gut is healing and I’m Starting to feel better my face is looking less swollen and I’m not having any gas or tummy aches anymore and I’m craving SUGAR SO MUCH LESSSSSSS which I never knew was possible!!! Healing the gut does help the cravings to go away
Yes!!my blood sugar is all over the place..crawing sugar and carbs all the time!H pylori lowers stomach acid so candida and parasites and bad bacteria can overgrow
Too much external stimuli I’d like nails on a chalk board; physical or emotional stress makes me pass out. H Pylori +, appt with functional medicine doctor next week.
I did the whole 30 before and it cut out all kinds of sugars and grains. I had a really bad headache for like 2 days and then I started feeling better and then they say usually a couple weeks into it you start having gastro issues which I did not have.
I didn’t take any antibiotic!! I only did LOW FODMAP diet for 8 weeks and that got rid of it and in continuing to stay off gluten and coffee and trying to limit sugar. Google low fodmap diet
Yes mate I was having frequent shortness of breath and ended up in ER twice in a month. Ended with kinda of anxiety or lots of sweating and inregular heart beats which i ended up getting heart stress test with hospital. I had HP many years ago so these symptoms were different than b4. I’m a golfer so it got to the stage where I couldn’t do 18 holes and that was driving a buggy as well so I wasn’t lasting fatigue bad. And just in general was feeling fatigue all the time. Doctors would look at me like I was going crazy to the stage he wa becoming a pawn instead of helping so I couldn’t use him. So I went to another doctor in the clinic by off chance to get him to HP check me so few days later came back positive . I made my partner go check she thought I was going crazy and then she was positive as well she was shocked I wasn’t lol. She had no symptoms what so ever but maybe symptoms she didn’t realise. So yea u can pass this onto ur partner easily where awaiting my son to get checked this HP in contagious it’s like a STD for real
I didn’t go back for labs to see if my H pyLori went away and so I’m sorry I can’t give an update. I plan to prioritize my health again sometime this summer and get checked out again
@@AtHomeWithJill Hey. I totally get it. I was diagnosed with Pylori and 2 gastric ulcers 2 months ago. I went to a GI doc. Albeit turns out a crappy one. But at least I got insurance to pay for one. I feel absolutely no better and i finished treatment a month and 3/4 ago. I finally go on 28th to get another endoscopy done to see if it's gone. And as sure as I was that I had it to begin with BUT STOOL WAS FALSE NEGATIVE....I am as certain it's still here. I asked my pcp for the stool and what her incompetent butt didn't know were certain parameters for testing like u can't be on a PPI within 2 weeks of testing or can produce false negative. So I just kept getting sicker and finally got the gi appt where I was "scoped." But it's ridiculous that treatment is 2 weeks yet he offers no support during and makes u wait 2.5 months for retest. Anyways I want him to test for SIBO. I paid very close attention to you and it sounds like we have same things. I also have been having symptoms of what was passed off as fibromyalgia by pcp and finally got referral to rheumatologist where I've now been diagnosed with hashimotos. I friggin hate pcps. Cant seem to get anyone decent. But my insurance at least pays. Anyways I want to try and remember to have gi doc test for SIBO. All my docs have to have their hands be held and led to do things. I'm only getting answers bc of myself pushing and asking. I did find out online that there are 2 particular illnesses that cause Hashimotos. 1 is epstein barr and the other is.....PYLORI! I believe it bc I've tracked my autoimmune symptoms to when my hi symptoms started like friken forever ago and it would jive. I 100% believe I've had pylori for a long time and to cause 2 gastric ulcers I'd say I'm right. The gi doc said the infection caused them. Makes sense. But I have a strong feeling that just being on synthroid (only last week) won't be enough. I need the heavy metal tests and hormone adrenals cortisol etc. A full battery of tests. Far beyond what my insurance will pay. I actually have an Endocrinologist who only tests my cholesterol and A1c. Again....insurance carrier. I want to know something. DO these providers KNOW they are terrible? I would think on some level they do to accept my insurance and to be working at these cattle call clinics I go to, instead of their own practice of any sort. I dont know. Anyways...I want a doctor like the one u went to but I noticed something concerning that u said. U said they charge for individual tests!? I'm worried I'm going to pay 300 bux to get in the door and then have them tell me each test will be it's own price. I could call and ask. Its just that it's 4 am here and they aren't open lol. I just feel I need a lot more and there is a lot more going on that "here u go. Here's a pill." *sigh*

Oh and yes they used a needle for the bloodwork. But the gut tests were actually a breath test and a stool sample. No needle.
I can’t hve rice or quinoa or oats lol super restrictive!
Hey, great vid. keep up the good work there. xoxo
I would love to hear the full list of what you are intolerant to!!!! I have a gluten free daughter and a daughter with an egg allergy and she has some lactose issues too and acid reflux.
I’ll do that on the next video!
Thank you for this Jill. I think this is what I have. I have a naturopath appointment upcoming...
Oh man!!! Let me know what happens at your appt.
Thank you!!! Are you gonna try going Gluten free again?
@@AtHomeWithJill Also I'm always very bloated and look pregnant. whatever I did do the gluten-free dairy free That lessend
What is the name of probiotic you are on.
Hi, quick question. Did you feel good a dar or so than hell? Because me 1 day I'm flat stomach than the whole week pretty bloated. Thanks!
the LOW FODMAP diet really helped me tremendously
A lot of the mental stuff you have us a lot of ADHD stuff I deal with. And hormones make it worse... So like before my period it gets way worse. Unfocused, tired, moody, irritable. Sensory issues are a real thing too like the noise thing.
Yes I’ve always been ADD too!!! My whole life! And my kids totally are! I’ve never told them they are though
@@AtHomeWithJill Yeah my three kids are too I believe... we are all undiagnosed in this house.
What herbs are you taking for h. Pylori?
This is the exact same thing that happened to me. Its torture. I got diagnosed with a thyroid problem and took a thyroid med. It led to a breakdown and uprooted my life.
Ughhh I am so sorry!!!! How are you doing now
@@AtHomeWithJill still dealing with the hard anxieties. These spells stick around for a while
What supplements are you taking for H pylori?
I also have severe anxiety and have h pylori with no prior history to anxiety I don’t know what to do
I have most of those symptoms! What kind of doctor did you see??
He is a naturopath endocrinologist. I think you could see any natural or integrative or holistic doctor 💗💗💗
I hope you can go see that doctor and get answers!!!!
Anyone suffering from h pylori and candida also suffer from hypoglycaemia ? (Low sugar)
I believe it’s because the bacteria’s feed on sugar so they make your body need it
At Home With Jill do you think if i get my gut in check, my low sugars will sort themselves out?
H Pylori +, appt with functional medicine doctor next week.
did your doctor tell you what was the cause of the burping?
Can we be friends! I’ve been dealing with hashimotos for two years, just diagnosed with h pylori. Can’t find you on IG. Any updates on your health?
I did the whole 30 before and it cut out all kinds of sugars and grains. I had a really bad headache for like 2 days and then I started feeling better and then they say usually a couple weeks into it you start having gastro issues which I did not have.
I’m already feeling so much better 1 week in
What doctor exactly do I look for that you got?
A naturopathic endocrinologist 💗
Soo what do you eat friend?
POTS after pregnancy? Also, I just want to say you're an amazing mother! I can't imagining dealing with my health issues AND kids. WOW. Hats off.
How is your health now?
So how is your sibo and hashimoto now
SIBO is gone!!!!!
@@AtHomeWithJill
How your sibo is gone ,did you take your antibiotic ,my doctor want me to take xifixin
I didn’t take any antibiotic!! I only did LOW FODMAP diet for 8 weeks and that got rid of it and in continuing to stay off gluten and coffee and trying to limit sugar. Google low fodmap diet
@@AtHomeWithJill wow you are sooo lucky ,my hashimoto bothers me a lot don't know what do I take to feel better beside I am on vegan diet
I'm an excessive burper and have severe anxiety that I'm medicated for... hmmm
Oh mannnnn well!!!! Gut check time?
Anyone have vision issues and breathing problems with h pylori
How are you doing??
@@vincentvega3747 bad bro I have h pylori c diffcle hartal hernia and concussion
@@ToffiTube M a n !!
@@ToffiTube Are you getting "better" at least?
What ever happened with this???? How are you feeling?
I’m really sorry
