One thing I didn’t like about this game is that a lot of its story quests are just hidden, so by the time you get to the final stretch of fighting the dragon to the end you have no idea what’s going on. I will say that fighting the dragon and everything after are some of the best moments I’ve had in a game.
Describe your craziest adventure in this game.
When I was still new, I was exploring that eastern area just after the Witchwood. I recalled having trouble with a number of bandits on the main road, so I took to the forests, only to be attacked by like 20 Saurians. After a long battle, we continued through, only to be attacked by goblins and a chimera. Having enough, I exited the forest and discovered the Tomb of the Unknown Traveler, and unfortunately, the golem. I messed up with the fight, and was stuck trying to get the gem under his foot last. So the fight went on until sundown. Low on health, I decided to just flee in the open fields. To my horror, a griffin attacked. We escaped it and were on our way back to the encampment. Sadly, I completely forgot about the bandits, and we were pretty much destroyed. I didn't save before getting beaten up. XD
I used to play this game but it was just too plain hard for me (never finished it) I might come back to it one day though...
So I just escaped Helgen and got done goofing off in Riverwood, so I set out for Whiterun to meet the Jarl. Just as I got there Ornstein and Smough hop down to defend the illusionary Gwynevere, so I pulled out the super shotty, fucked up the Spider Mastermind and glory killed it on Ultra Nightmare, but as I was saying, can I eat your ass?

Game was dope, ending was O.O Literally unified the whole thing together with the beginning seemlessly. Well worth having played it to completion, had to rewatch my favorite parts :D thanks for uploading :D

It's very confusing. To add, before using the God's bane to kill your main character you get to sit on the throne which give the master the ability to roam Grand Soren as well as the main character's home town, Cassardis as a spirit as I like to call it, since the first characteristic is your character is cloaked or invisible. The character can still attack, so this would be a perfect time to go out and test out the new cloak against enemies, but then you will realize that after exiting through the city gate, you're taken back to the Senechal realm. So after sitting on the throne again and spawning on a renewed Grand Soren (like nothing ever happened to the city) I noticed the character walks through NPCs, can't speak to other characters, can't access the equipment menu while roaming and doesn't have access to pawns in addition to not being able to kill anything. It's a rather useless moment where your only choice to continue the story is to use the God's bane. Once you do, your pawn somehow takes control of your master's body for some mysterious reason but it gives the story-line continuity nonetheless. The part I still don't understand is after you play through the game a second time with a new character, you meet your old character again at the Seneschal's chamber along with its respective pawn. This doesn't make sense at all. How would the former pawn even exist if it took control of the master's body in the first place? Did the pawn possessing the master's body somehow make a clone of its former self in the Rift? What if the master you encounter with its pawn is the game simply not taking into account the fact that the master was possessed by the pawn? How does that make sense? Also, another thing that is ambiguous is the fact that your pawn possessed main character walks away with the ol' king's widow to live happily ever after in the end. What? How does that create the necessary circle that the story says there is and that the story needs ? The circle of unending battles to take the title of Senechal, one master killing the former time and time again. The game is supposed to end with your master and its pawn in the Seneschal chamber watching over the world until another Arisen challenges them and takes their place. Too much is left ambiguous. I can't think of an ending that makes sense that will tie the story together like it should. The scene of the pawn entering the Arisen's body and then walking off simply dismantles any logic. I could argue that the pawn now lives a normal human life since it is in the Arisens' former body assuming that it is now mortal and therefore allowing the pawn to rest in peace when the time comes considering the fact that before the pawn hit the water, it seemed all of the pawn's identities from the different worlds were merged into that one moment and thus sealing the fate of that pawn to the mortal body its master. The new Seneschal probably just creates a copy of the pawn, although not the original, to fight by his side when the next Arisen challenges him. This is the only way I can make sense out of that ending.
2 years late, but I think it implies that your player character watches from beyond as their pawn lives out their life, then recreates the world as it once was after their pawn dies and is reunited with them.

I like this game, but I'm just a bit confused on how the ending works. Does the Arisen still hold the throne as god, letting their pawn gain free will? Or does he break the cycle of continuously choosing an Arisen, but at the cost of their own life?
Long time to answer but you take your own life to end the cycle and your pawn gains a soul like Selene and essentially is a human in your place, life for life, great and sad way to end the game

Wasnt the worst game ever ,but i expected so much more when i played....They should have did a sequel and made a real rpg out of it..
It was supposed to have 60% more stuff that was cut due to time, like the shadow fort was supposed to lead to a whole different area,
I do wish they would either make the full game they planned or a sequel that could be the same map mostly but expanded where they wanted

I wish Capcom realized the market sucess that the online game could have in the west, i still play this game from time to time, hope they make a second one, but this time putting a big load of cash to the project.

It's not about the graphics. This game uses a weird colour palette that is just not for everyone. Thanks god I love that colour palette.
