Would love to be in Croatia right now. Loved Rovinj 6 years ago. Will need to return in the near future.

That gas station lunch looked pretty good! Nice accommodation for the price, and the area seemed great. Loved that LOTR themed pub - so cool! That traditional dinner looked incredible - very hearty and comforting for a cold day.

I’m intrigued by the bottle cap as well. I’ve never seen that before. I’m not a Lord of the Rings fan but that bar was great. And yes wine and cheese together is a must!

Zagreb is a very beautiful city and I often pass through it when traveling to Western Europe. The food is similar to the neighboring countries of Bosnia and Serbia, of course very diverse and delicious.

Nice ride to get there. Great place to stay.
That flowermarket must be worth a visit.
The Tolkien Café looked fun. i also think that when you travel alone, it's easier to meet other people. And have some unexpected great moments.
    Good food, of course...
    Cheers!

I hadn't included Zagreb in my previous visit to Croatia, but I plan to visit it in the future. As for the bottle caps on beverages, the main purpose is ecological, as they fall off and end up everywhere. The only inconvenient is that it can be annoying when it touches your nose while drinking :), but the idea is not bad.

Yeah I did find that a bit annoying. It would be running up in most and mustache 😂

    Hi !,
Dolac , the main farmers market in Zagreh , is working till 2p.m. , Sundays till 1.p.m.
Fruits, vegetables , herb teas ect. are up. In the open. Fisherie beside in a hall=" Ribarnica". Also woodware, folk clothes. In the back : flowers and veggies in the pots.
Meat all sorts , nuts, sauerkraut & similar are below. Beside this are :dairy products, eggs, mushrooms, honey, pastry , breads... On the street, in front of the main entrance : flowers.
The market is diminishing because of three factors : 1. new ugly shops in peripheries with free parkings, 2. corona panic- when it was closed= prices in shops had skyrocketed , 3. earthquake- when a lot of inhabitants of city center = those who are buying on central market , were moving out from their ruined houses , permanently .
