Marjan forest park is so beautiful!! I would definitely want to explore there. But the medieval town area and Republic Square are amazing too. So much beautiful scenery and historic architecture there.
This place is really nature's gem. One of the places where you enjoy amazing food, beautiful views and the architecture. Love the croissant in the start and the sunset. We would definitely explore The Split in future.
This is a seaside gem. The palace is beautiful. Yes, please start at the beginning with a chocolate croissant and coffee. I also get a cool history lesson with the great sites.
Start the day with a croissant and a bit of history! 😊 The market looked nice and I bet a lot more crowded in the saison! 😊 The Castle looked really big ! As you say a city in a city!😊
What a gem of a location. I love that the ruins are being maintained. Well I guess that doesn’t even make them ruins if they are being maintained. Omg not an entire Game of Thrones shopping area. They knew what they were doing!
it looks amazing Ben definitely a bucket list destination! Did not know about the palace - the views at the end are breath taking. Sorry it was so hard to find a feed!
I appreciate hidden gems and some of the less famous places around the world because I feel like to get a much deeper experience when it isn't packed wall to wall with tourists! Looks like Split Croatia fits that bill!
That palace was huge! I am still trying to wrap my head around that a (current) city is located inside. The rooms underground where huge and empty and I wonder how it was furnished/decorated at the time of the emperor.
A true gem of the Adriatic Sea! Split became my favorite city to explore along my journey.
Been there,great place!
My favorite city on this last trip to stay.
SPLIT is my hometown...❤
Split is definitely my favorite city in Croatia. I also loved the promenade; the energy and charm that this coastal city exudes are unmatched.
It's such a great place isn't it?

Forest Park View looks lovely We love nature too.
Top sunset
One of the best sunsets I've seen.
Came back to enjoy the scenery again and take notes this time! Hoping 2025 is the year for Croatia for me.
Oh I'm excited for y'all to do that
Nice quiet city a def gem to visit
Oh it's so amazing
quiet in January*. During the summer it's probably the busiest city in Croatia.
Split looks so beautiful and historic! I need to visit! 😄
It's so worth it.

I love Split
What a beautiful city filled with great history and beauty. I love how you search out nature even in big cities. We try to do that also.
I always try to find a peaceful nature spot in every city I go to.
Good editing...nice mood

Marketing at its finest
Looks a little like winter there.
It was when I filmed it.

The woes of off season travel
Hey roomie!! Love your videos 💜
Thanks Michelle! You doing good?!

During the off season it definitely does. During summer I've heard it's bananas
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon correct. In summer it's PACKED.
Good video

It must've been very extravagant
Hi are you in Bosnia now?
Not anymore I filmed everything this past winter
We ate at The Green Olive I had Brodetto and I got food poisoning. I was so very, very sick for 36 hours. I’ll never eat there again.
I'm sorry to hear about that. Food poisoning on a trip always sucks. Thanks for sharing your experience for others.
Not the Balkans!!!
Would you consider Split as Dalmatian? Croatian? Both? I've been learning a lot after the trip that I didn't during.
YES ! SPLIT is DALMACIJA.!...The name comes from DELMATI tribes who lived there at 1st century..
