  • Fixing a Hunched Back with a Sidelying Massage Technique
We all tend to slouch. Massage therapy can be a beneficial complementary approach to improving posture and relieving muscle tension associated with a hunched back. While massage alone may not permanently fix a hunched back, it can provide relief and contribute to overall posture improvement when combined with other measures. Here is a massage technique used by Master Myoskeletal Therapist, Erik Dalton, to mobilize the thoracic spine in a sidelying position to improve mobility in the back and improve a hunched over posture.
This technique is part of a broader approach to treating postural disorders called Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, an approach developed by Erik Dalton, PhD, a recognized pioneer in the bodywork community for more than 30 years.

That's great for some practices, but I'm on a strict 55-minute schedule and I don't like having a visible clock in my office. Trying to help as many people as possible so I must stay on time....thanks!

In Germany physios work without a watch on their wrist.

I was going to ask if the German physios also wear watches while doing educational demo videos but I guess I just learned a new tip from Dr Dalton's reply. Thanks everyone🙏🏾

They also don’t cut pizza into slices unless you ask. Not everything makes sense in the world.
