  • An Awesome Carpal Tunnel Massage Routine
In this week’s video, Erik demonstrates a routine for carpal tunnel syndrome. He likes to use general massage routines to address an entire region. Only then does he get more specific and do the orthopedic testing. Using a memorized routine like this is a holistic approach. Getting familiar with a routine so that it is almost automatic ensures that you don’t miss performing techniques even if you are distracted. You touch your client’s body with a great deal of confidence because you know exactly what you are going to do. And this assuredness makes your client feel more confident in your skills and your ability to help them. This belief in the practitioner and the efficacy of the massage treatment is an important psychosocial factor that improves client outcomes.

I can't give recommendations without seeing you in person. I would suggest finding a Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques practitioner near you. You'll find a therapist directory on my site at erikdalton.com
