Another great video. We went there not long after it opened and they had a massive drainage problem and half the site was unusable. Even our hard standing was under 2inches of water. So pleased it is now looking a lot better. Enjoy the rest of your trip
Joan Spriggs We saw the site being built and we were going to stay here in May 2006 but the opening was delayed due to the drainage problem. We came back in December 2006 when it finally opened.
Hi Bob, I'm one of your new subscribers, I picked up your vlog because of this video, we hired a motorhome to see if it's what we would like to start doing, loved the Burrs the walks and went on the steam train, theres a new dog friendly cafe opened up it's called "The Lampost Cafe" where the adventure place was, they have a face book page, we have two Welsh Terriers! They do doggie cakes! My husband is from Bury and father-in-law is still there. We took the plunge and will be picking our campervan up next Friday can't wait for the adventures to begin, looking forward to more of your trips, have a great time around Europe. Regards Jan Bell
Bob, Last time we went to Burrs park, the access road was full of parked cars, event on the park was very popular, could only just squeeze through to the caravan park. Does the wardens now have a list of events, so if you so wish you could avoid those dates ?
The shower cubicles were cold the last time we visited (it was January though). Don’t know what it was about this site but me & hubby sadly gave it a ‘thumbs down’
Mike James thanks for your question. We went to both sites at Sandringham some years ago. Nice sites in the middle of the forest and a shop there. Remember getting told off for putting a tent on the grass. Lol. Have a look at Herman the Hymer's video. He went there more recently.

Colin Humphries we went last time when the "Big Grill" was on. It was near chaos!
Don't think the CMC would want to tell you when not to come! Probably best place to find out would be the council website - amzn.to/2DIwBqU
Thanks Bob love your site tour's
Where do the trains run to
we usually tour round the south
And midlands
The East Lancashire Railway goes from Bury and Heywood up to Rawtenstall. Usually steam or heritage diesel. www.eastlancsrailway.org.uk

Maybe the heating was having an off day. It does get cold there though. I know I was born in Bury!

Everything looks like it needs a good power washing.
Hope you cleaned up after your dog did it's business.
Rob Clague we always do 🙂
Rob Clague we always do. And we often pick up other dog's too! Besides, that was a wee by the pub.
