Brilliant & beautiful! I initially learned a vastly different (and fun!) rock painting technique from Birgit O'Connor, but yours is so much easier in execution as I see it. I've forgotten how to create divots & dings, so your tutorial is a marvelous reminder, so thank you, Ken! Fanna Turano Denver, CO
Thank you so much - I'm attempting Pebbles in Photoshop but the tips here are just what I needed, especially the way you did the Scars on the rock - Brilliant !
Very Nice. I am new to water color and doing a similar kind of painting. What color you have used for darker background? What Technique you ahve used. Wet on dry or wet on wet?
very helpful! Thanks. Makes painting rocks a little less intimidating. What about slate walls like in mountains? The only way I can figure that out is using saran wrap. Is there a better way? Thanks again!
Beautiful sample tutorial but I wish you would have done the whole painting you showed at the beginning. I painted along and made my three rocks and was sad that you ended it there!
