I think that MK Legacy could’ve been an impressive show if they actually based it more on lore. Kenshi would work perfect with the swordsman being introduced as anxious and arrogant with this being his very downfall with the old man actually being presented as Shang Tsung and leading Kenshi down a dark path would find the well of souls leading to Kenshi releasing thousands of his ancestors and the old man would reveal himself as Shang Tsung. This would give a more profound reason for Kenshi to be brought into the MK Tournament with Kenshi swearing vengeance against Shang Tsung for blinding him. Liu Kang story was interesting but didn’t feel right a story that would’ve worked perfectly is by having his character be introduced as an orphan who was taken in by Raiden into the White Lotus Society.
Who made this?? Are any of these people actually fans or mortal kombat?? There is so much lore that it should be easy to peice this all together and just give us a live action visual. How hard is that??

I would assume another job came along that he wanted more, because right after he walked away from this, he did several episodes for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" and then "The Flash". The series focuses on introducing each character/s by giving them their own episodes before making it to the MK tournament.
Season 2 was absolutely horrible. It's cinematography was below the lowest budgeted sci-fi channel movie and the choreography was worse than Xena: warrior princess. Mortak Kombat: Legacy season 1 as low budget as it is, is 10x better in all areas

It would have been nice if they respected the lore/canon and had him lose his eyes by looking into the well of souls via Shang Tsung's deception
So in this universe, Kenshi is a fool who takes him at his word and walks right into what he was warned to be a trap.
Well he definitely needs Virgil's Motivation on power.
And then his Trauma turns into a Motivation to steal his son's arm and grow a massive tree to evade Taxes.
He is not motivated that's why he lost his eyes
