They expanded on these nicely, I liked some of the Christmas videos they did after this. This one, however, was certainly THE turning point in boring, old briefings!
Oh yeah. Used to fly three times a year Tokyo - NYC. She was a favorite. I had no idea she became famous or well known. I thought I was the only one who found her extra special. ;)
Been 10 years from this month I haven't flown Delta. I guess it's time to fly them again real soon. This safety video was my childhood from 3rd/4th grade
I like this safety video more than others because it's sleek and focused. It's always best to have just one flight attendant giving the safety instructions, while other people act as supporting characters.
Allen Chang yes this exactly. The new ones are too all over the place and lack focus. They also feel pretentious and lack the sense of humor that delta has always had as a brand.
One of the early good examples that made airlines to consider how boring video instructions to be paid attention. Good job, Delta! Although we don't use that flip phones anymore nor walkie-talkies
This is the video that we had to watch so many times going back and forth from LAX to MCO, that we included a tribute to it in the new Star Tours preshow.
I just had an opportunity to review a new inflight video from one of the major airlines as part of a survey. Sure, it was creative, but (like so many today) not actually produced in an airplane! It was an attempt at some comedy which in the end just felt cringy, dorky. So, I was reminded of this old Delta video -- produced on the cheap, when Delta was in bankruptcy, and still the best. Professional, friendly, and that finger wag -- just that little thing -- makes it memorable, 16 years later!

To all who think they know the aircraft type... It was a 757 parked on the ramp behind the TOC draped in white plastic to diffuse the outside light. All video monitoring was done from underneath the aircraft. The aircraft specific info is inserted in post production. Yes, I work for Delta at the TOC. Yes, I know Kat. Yes, I saw it being filmed. Yes, I know several of the passengers. Yes, it is a 757. Not a 767 or 737-800. It's a 757. Let the flaming commence!
For the guy that said Delta was cheap for just using the 737 one and tweaking it, you should compare the US Airways ones, they use the same video every time... and for the new "post merger", it has the new music but it is really the same video from like 95 when they flew in USAir colors.
I do not care for Delta's new safety videos. I understand that Delta is changing the way they do business but I think the in-flight safety videos could have been left alone. Also I'm guessing that they'll be another video for the 767-3P6ER and 324ER's as they have different door configs.
this video is freaking funny and she reminds me of angelina jolie and why most male flight attendants are gay im not homophobic but its like every1 i have seen are gay or old and tired old men and that flight attendant who is showing u how to use a life vest is freaking funny
And can recover with no ill effects if given his mask promptly. If junior gets his mask before dad, dad will likely be the one who passes out, and because junior can't reach the masks, dad won't recover
Love the finger wag. I took some business trips where this was the highlight of the whole day.
1:50 is the part you are looking for.

I thought i was the only one who got this stuck in my head. What great memories 😂
Simple, and straight to the point! This is hands down the best video they’ve had
They expanded on these nicely, I liked some of the Christmas videos they did after this. This one, however, was certainly THE turning point in boring, old briefings!
I hope they put it in rotation again for another year. They been on the woke video train lately. Let's get back to deltalina!
The famous finger wave. This is the most memorable video in my opinion and I worked at DL long enough to recall several.
They should do a revival of this version - this video was so straightforward and flowed well.

This is better than current safety video on Delta.

Delta needs to upload the master copy for better viewing pleasure. :)
That’s probably the most iconic Safety video ever

They could still show this video today and nobody would know the difference. Even the screens are still the same on many flights! 😂
Yeah until they show flip phones and iPods. 😂

achually according to the video, the title is wrong, its a 767-300
This is the same safety announcement from Infinite Pax.
I've seen this video 4 times in the past 3 months. MSP-ATL, ATL-JNB, CDG-MSP and MSP-SFO.

Is this the real cabin safety announcement?????
