This feels like the epilogue to the High School Musical franchise that we never got.

No but seriously. Dont ignore them. What if the plane is crashing and because you didnt see the safety video, you dont know what is the brace position or how to evacuate. Seriously. You can get seriously injured

@@MOMAZOSPATO If the plane is going down, the brace position isn't stopping you from dying. They assume nobody watches it, and planes can empty the whole cabin in 90 seconds.
Also, the odds of ever being in a situation like this are very low. Planes don't crash on US airlines. The last commercial plane crash in US airspace was ten years ago.
This should be the new standard for plane safety videos.

Book an Alaska Airlines flight on their A320, A321neo or A319. They're still playing it. I have been on 3 Virgin America flights and two of them were with this video but modified (TSA rules changed).

SEGASister, Virgin Airlines was truly progressive and positively responsive to consumers. Well worth the added costs. Stepping onboard was a Zen experience with mood lighting blue and magenta. No cramp seating and great service. And sponsored many years the SF Pride Parade. So warming. But now gone with Alaska Airlines being business cold.
