Bowers is an A pick. Guy gave a C lol. wasn’t any QB’s left who they taken. Rattler at pick 13? 😂 bowers was best available player and he was ranked the 7th best prospect. Huge steal at 13.
If Troy Fataunu is the 'perfect Steelers pick' and was a top-15 ranked guy, according to Pete, how is it only a B? Fills an immediate need at RT & allows Broderick Jones to move back to LT, with Dan Moore as tackle depth. Its an A- pick at the least.
Falcons - G. Worse than an F.
I like penix look at Jordan Love he developed and sat for awhile

@@miketokles9451 Cousins will never make it 4 years here. His total guarantees are fully 2 years front loaded. So we can cut him after his 2nd season and be completely free of his cap hit. Penix sits for 2 years then takes over and we have 3 years of rookie cheap cap at 6 mil a year to keep adding talent. I think colin cowherd (who i hate usually) broke this down best. Kirk is a regular season monster and you should win the division or be picking near 15 or later. You would have to get a QB in a year or 2 anyways to replace Kirk. You would then have to trade up form 15 to 25 all the way to top 5 or 8 to get a QB of this talent level again. Thats going to cost an absolute fortune to move up that far and cost you way more in the long run than just 1 #8 pick right now does. Im talking like multiple 1sts like it did Panthers for Young. It really sucks now for this year to not grab a good edge at 8. But in a year or 2 from now it's going to save a ton of picks for other players. Plus it allows Penix to learn from a very intelligent QB and for the Falcons not to slow day or go back to sucking like we did after ryan. Would i much rather taken Latu there 100% yes but do i hate the pick no.
@killadajuiceman7634 completely different situations... GB was coming off NFC championship performances & had a solid team, so they set themselves up for continued success when Rodgers is gone.. not to mention he was pick #26... the Falcons haven't sniffed success since 28-3, have holes all across the roster, and spent the #8 overall pick on a luxury rather than a need.. after getting Cousins on a 4yr/$180mill w/$100mill+ gauranteed... Penix is the most NFL ready QB, he doesn't need to sit. If the Falcons pick top-10 next year, that GM is gone.
Man Pete doesn't shy away from his opinions and like to go against the grain. Dude.... the fact you aren't giving any A+ outside of your favorite player in the draft.

I loved the Worthy pick for the Chiefs. The Bills will never learn. And with Rashee's new life of crime, apparently, Worthy becomes an instant impact player. If/when Rice comes back, Hollywood, Rashee, and Xavier might be the scariest WR trio in recent memory. Mot because they're all the best in their roles, but because they complement each other perfectly and, along with Travis, give Pat not just a lot of weapons, but a wide VARIETY of weapons at every level.
Oh, and we have Pacheco, so...

Brock Bowers is a weapon playmaker so we’ll see what happens. He is going to help the QB’s out a lot with easy short passes and yards after the catch!
i think the comparison vick to penix has to be a race thing. they are 2 completly diff style qbs.

Pete Prisco is a 🤡. You're not passing on a generational TE who shouldn't have even been on the board at 13. Guess this guy has never heard of double TE sets. The Raiders can still get a great cb that's still available Kool aid or Cooper D etc... they're are still great O line players available also but a TE of this caliber we haven't seen for a long time. If anything we're one of the smartest teams for not reaching on a qb like Atlanta, Minnesota and Denver did. There are also good qbs available like Jordan Travis, Spencer Rattler & Joe Melton. So I think the Raiders will be fine 🤦🏼♂️

I really don't understand the criticism of the Penix pick. A healthy Kirk is a top 10 QB who deserves to be paid, but the reality is it'll be his 13th season & he's still rehabbing that torn achilles. Everyone one 'hopes' he'll be ready to play. What happens if he isn't ready? What happens mid season if the leg gives again? You'll have a QB ready to go that's what!
RAIDERS get an Grade of A! New OC in Getsy so we know now its a 2TE formations. thats 7 on the Line. they will be to Big & too hard to defend. Garner been believing something gonna be happening GOOD in Vegas
At least with mock drafts, you find out whether you mock draft sucked, moderately sucked, or really sucked.
Draft grades literally make no sense. You're grading something with no actual results accompanying it.
They grade based on team needs
Old dude is a contrarian just for the sake of it. Caleb Williams is def an A+. Pats biggest need was QB, and they got a guy who would be QB1 in 85-90% of draft classes who can sit a year and start next year with a better oline and a good WR corps since the Pats will likely have a top 10 pick and a bunch of money in FA, and it's just a "B". Meanwhile Atlanta gets a B- for Penix after guaranteeing Cousins $100mil in the next 3 years. MHJ is a B+ while Nabers is an A+? Idc about how explosive Nabers is, MHJ is the best prospect in the whole class or at least a 1B to Caleb.
The only reason I'd care if you rate a pick a B is if you also tell me what you think would be an A+

The redzone contested catches were amon ra and reynolds before, but jamo doesn't fit that kinda skillset. DPJ was always meant to come in and fill those shoes as well as potentially stepping up in special teams kick returns
