Yes, everyone realizes their 1st dozen years of school were a complete waste of time at some point. Along with electing only commissioned corporate PR people to regulate corporations, it's one of those evils Americans keep perpetuating because they don't know what else to do.
Love to see Graham Barton at 1! He's a beast in the trenches and it feels like people are over looking the value of being able to slot in anywhere on the line.
Good stuff. Knew I could count on you to get AJ Barner in your TE list. Zinter broke his leg so he should have a full recovery. Curious what your thoughts are on Trevor Keegan. He tested better than I expected and was a really solid starter for three years.
Its nice to see someone talk about Eric All. He definitely has some big potential, and as an Iowa fan, his injury was the thing that really destroyed out offense.
I think it would be a good idea if everyone in the draft community started talking about (and ranking) "TE" prospects as either (1) F-TE / H-back prospects or (2) Y-TEs. I think we are doing a disservice to each category's prospects by lumping them all together.
Him saying Barner "held off Loveland at Michigan" is just wrong. Very different skill sets. Loveland is Bowers light and Barner is your in line blocking TE
@@darkokat right which is why he’s the move TE not the in line guy. I just mean Barner was there and he was a nfl prospect so he’s gonna be on the field too. Hence Loveland’s production could’ve been higher
I would make Jaheim Bell a quasi fullback, use him on wheels from a split set, and Texas routes. using a lot of split back shotgun, formations to get him out in space. Definitely not a great run blocker, but when we’re under center, all I need him to do is run into someone with a Headstart and throw them off their flow to the gap. You can just also motion him out to the slot from there, or to a sniffer. Kind of how Juszczyk gets used.
I respect hearing someone say ‘I’m lower on JD, he’s my QB3,’ understanding that that is, in fact, towards the bottom of the acceptable range to have him. Having JJ > JD isn’t a football take, it’s just saying an incorrect thing.
Ben Sinnott interests me. He looks like he could be a prototypical professional tight end. In that sense he might have a rather high ceiling. He does have a lot to learn though.
TE: 1. Brock Bowers 2. Ja’Tavion Sanders 3. Ben Sinnott 4. A. J. Barner 5. Erick All 6. Tip Reiman 7. Cade Stover 8. Jaheim Bell 9. Tanner McLachlan 10. Theo Johnson
I’m so glad I found you on here. Your analysis of players is outstanding. Being a Cowboys fan, I’m super interested in the Centers, Guards & OTs in this Draft. No matter who they take, I hope he has a nasty attitude when he plays; I want a man who run blocks with the look of someone who wants to bury the opposition. I want him to engage the opposition with violence, with heavy hands, quick feet and the power and strength to take his opponent wherever he wants to. And I hope he wants to destroy the motherf**ker on every snap! Have you done RBs yet?
The Commanders fan in me sure hopes that you are wrong on Jayden Daniels. I was a Drake Maye proponent myself, but I am willing to give the new regime the benefit of the doubt. Also Ben Sinnott as TE2 doesn't seem that out there now that it actually happened.
If you haven't, check out TE Luke Benson (Syracuse / Georgia Tech). Watch his tape from Syracuse. I feel like GT completely misunderstood what they had in Benson.
Yooo let's go... Mccormick as you iOL#6 and Beaux Limmer as high as having the same grade as Zach Frazier! I feel the exact same way on both of those dudes. Mccormick especially... every time I watch that dude I feel like a coward for not having him higher haha.
Its very hard to have really long legs look big. Most pro bodybuilders are 5ft9 or shorter. You have to gain about 3x the amount of muscle of an average person to get the same look. Size doesnt equal strength though. Hypertrophy training doesnt inherently make you strong. Strength training will make you strong but youll gain a lot less size.
It's crazy to me how similar Drake Maye is to Jordan Love. I'm just afraid if he goes to Washington he will bust because he will have to start right away and they have a defensive head coach. That's why I'd take Daniels at 2. I think you can project he will get better at his weaknesses like he has in college every year. Maye needs to sit and he needs coaching just like Love. NE might not have the coaching but they can afford to sit Maye because they have Brissett so I think that's a better fit for him
@@Jamar-lg9ob It's a running joke that Marcus "hates" on the lions given what he said about them last off-season. I don't think he actually does, but it's fun to poke the bear
Just wanted to comment and say, keep the ties in ratings. It's absolutely not a cop out. It's nice to know when an evaluator thinks that players are roughly equivalent, too many videos on other channels waste a lot of time splitting hairs to justify arbitrary rankings. Sometimes it's just a case that you like both guys just as much.
Burrow had an amazing oline and even better wrs. Maybe not as good as Daniels oline but he had multiple drafted players on his oline. Ed ingram, damien lewis, sahdiq charles, Lloyd cushenberry, and austin decules (idk who he is). Multiple of these guys are good nfl players on big second contracts and or decently high draft picks.
Those players were drafted but they did not play well for LSU. Every single one of those guys were poor upon entering the league and the ones that are good developed in the league.
Watch Will Campbell at OT for LSU, that man is a top-10 pick next year. Those lineman you named all came in raw as pass protectors, and that’s what caused some of the pass pro issues when Burrow was at LSU
@@fullyinflatedfootballpodca2373 I'm not saying burrows oline was as good as JD's just that it was also pretty good. Even with a lot of these guys being raw that's more than you can say for the vast majority of olines in the cfb.
I fear that Bowers will fall and that for the 3rd year in a row Cincinnati will make a garbage 1st round pick that everyone will insist is a "steal" even though the dude turns out to be useless for years to come. Just like Dax Hill and Myles Murphy.
You lowkey have one of the best intro songs 😂
I’ve learned more about football from listening to this podcast for a year than I learned in my entire k-12 education

Perfect timing just sat down for lunch
The Psycho inside of me wants the Falcons to take Bowers and have the most talented offense in the league.

Zak Zinter’s injury was his leg snapping. No tears. Apparently it’s clean break and he should be ready for training camp.

The way you described Sanders sounds a lot like Isaiah Likely, I think that could be a good pro comp as well. Thoughts?

Theo Johnson that low? Thats new, i think he was massively underutilised in Penn St. offense, with more production, he would be TE2 imo

Brock Bowers the best tight end prospect I’ve ever seen. I don’t know when it’ll be the next time we see a tight end prospect as great as he is.
