I think the bears drafted a punter because Gill just wasn't getting the ball far enough last season. He didn't get it inside the 20 too much and when he did, it was probably a touch back. He just struggled a bit and hopefully some competition gets him to try a bit harder. Granted, most of drives ended with 3 plays but that's besides the point
What people don’t remember is that the colts secondary was hurt and young last year. Our number one corner who was playing top 16 (Flowers) got hurt early in the year, and our FS and SS were in and out all year. Our secondary actually looks like this: a top 3 slot corner, a top 16 outside corner, a third CB who’s coming off of a super promising rookie season, a backup who also had a good rookie season, a borderline pro-bowl SS, and admittedly a question mark at FS (but there are still a bunch of answers we could grab in FA)
I'm a little sick of the narrative that the Falcons didn't do anything to address the pass rush in the draft because they took Penix at 8. The Falcons should have a much stronger rotation on the DLine which help with creating consistent pressure even if they still don't have 1 Alpha pass rusher in their room.
Also, we have no idea what Dallas Turner will be in the NFL as a pass rusher. Though pass rush is important, I never hear stats on pass rushers touting how many playoff wins they have or how many superbowls they have won or lost.....i do hear that about QBs though. The Ravens were 1st in sacks last year. The Chiefs were 2nd. The Ravens weren't in the Superbowl. And the credit for winning the Superbowl is not attributed the the chiefs' pass rush...as good as it was. That crown is laid up on the head of QB Patrick Mahomes. Liking how the Dolphins addressed their DE injury issue with Chop. The defense feel off the ledge when both starting DE came down with significant injuries. Hopefully by end of the year they will be healthy and the defense can have 3 good Edge rushers to rotate.
Cooper Beebe was the highest graded center in the entire nfl in week one against the best defense in the nfl oh and he had never played a single snap at center before in his entire career
5:00 i think in the raiders defense they’re trying to run a lot of heavy two tight end/ fullback sets. It’s honestly a good strategy considering the qb room
I honestly loved the Bengals draft. Mims will be a stud. The IDL is looking much better along with finally adding some TE depth. Burton could be the steal of the draft if he finally grows up, which i think he will with Burrow in his ear. A++
I never thought I would say this but Tory Taylor was an absolute STEAL for my bears. This man is making generational punts that puts our top 3 defense in amazing positions.
You give me a Detroit Lions v Buffalo Bills Super Bowl and I’ll be happy. The entirety of Lake Erie might catch on fire, but it’ll still be fun to see a new franchise finally win their first Super Bowl.
I'm not a Falcons fan, but I'm starting to like the Penix pick because it is super Maddenesque. Falcons haven't had a winning season since 2017. Green Bay has clearly demonstrated that making first round QBs sit for a few years can be a winning strategy. Kirk is coming off an injury, and having a solid backup QB is important to every franchise. I think they didn't think they could trade down very far and still get him because of other QB needy teams, like the Raiders. Penix himself has a little bit of an injury history and could use some time to solidify an NFL body. They also already have quite the group of offensive skill players, and drafted heavily to improve a weak defense. I don't hate it.
Agreed. Especially if you look at it like this: "We know we're taking Penix this year. We want to have him sit for at least one season. Which available QB would be the best guy to lead him? Pay that guy whatever it takes to have him train your new franchise QB.
You totally miss the point. If you're trying to win now (and you should because 1) you signed Cousins for humongous money and 2) Arthus Blank needs to see a winner before he dies) you can't pass up on picking the top defensive player in the draft with the #8 pick! Need I remind you of how many Super Bowls Cousins has when he had bad defenses? Cousins is an excellent QB but you gotta give him some help! Come on, man!
@@SportsBossMan there are as no defensive player worth taking at 8 though this was obvious because the top 20 picks were offensive that should tell you something and also what would you if Kirk got hurt? Say your season is over? Cause Taylor Heineke is not getting you through the playoffs. Kirk literally has an injury that in the past was career ending
As a lions fan i woke up this morning realising that im going into next season expecting to win a lot of games and possibly make the superbowl. I dont know how to handle these emotions
as a giants fan picking Malik Nabers was a better choice… they tried to trade up and get Drake Maye he was the QB they liked in this draft and when they were unsuccessful they picked the next best player for their needs, had they picked a QB they weren’t 100% sure on they would have been in the same spot they are in now with DJ… this pick also allows no excuses for DJ since one thing he never truly had was a WR1 to throw to… would have loved for you to go in further depth of the other Giants players drafted though.
Feel the same way about the colts draft, thought they would go corner but pressure on qb will help corners. They could have done it later in draft but must see something in what they have
Jayden is definitely a human highlight reel. He may run for a 50 yard TD. Or run for a yard and get completely destroyed like you’ve never seen before 😂
@ yea he’s exactly what i said he’d be. Run for 50 and a TD or get his ribs cracked😭. But he’s a stud i can’t lie. But im also extremely happy with my QB cuz i wanted him since 2023 summer and he’s exactly what id thought he’d be and he’s only 22 (drake maye)
I honestly think the bears 4th round pick on another generational talent with the punter will actually be a bigger move than most think. Our special teams was absolutely horrid last year and having the best punter in draft fall to us will help Caleb and the offense from not putting so much pressure to constantly put up points. Plus it will give our defense great field position
The browns needed to draft depth pieces they have a good line can run the ball well, if chubb is healthy they have a top five ground and pound offensive. You put a half way decent qb out their that has a good play action guantred easy 30 touchdowns. With how this off is set up litteray next qb up. I was hoping joe would of had a crazy run.
As a raiders fan I liked taking not just bpa but a great offensive player, being able to do a two te set and have it be 50/50 wether it’s a run or pass play should help open things up. Plus our other picks like powers were what we needed to do for different positions
Low key, the first three picks for Pitt were great, but Pat Wilson in the 4th is a steal i feel, and the later picks were fricken solid too. Grabbing Beanie Bishop as a UFA from WVU I feel lowkey gonna be a contributor.
Yes that IS pretty remarkable. Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers and they only got two. And if Bill Parcells didn't have his head up his ass by kicking to the best returner in the game - Desmond Howard - they may not have won that Super Bowl against the Patriots.
Lets go!! I was waiting for this video. Keep up the great work bro Edit: also am i the only one who bursted out in laughter when he did the power rangers theme for the raiders?😂😂😂😂

Fr groper Cleveland and Jameis Winston is quite the class act qbs room
Liking how the Dolphins addressed their DE injury issue with Chop. The defense feel off the ledge when both starting DE came down with significant injuries. Hopefully by end of the year they will be healthy and the defense can have 3 good Edge rushers to rotate.
6:13 frfr uconn finally getting recognition
Cooper Beebe was the highest graded center in the entire nfl in week one against the best defense in the nfl oh and he had never played a single snap at center before in his entire career
0:27 Which is really odd coming from the city that had Dennis Rodman show up to town in a dress when he signed with the Bulls.
I completely forgot about that 😂
“Trying to form the deadliest receiving core in prison history” wow that was a good one 😂
As a Giants fan DJ isn't the problem. Regardless who the QB is we upgraded the team and whoever the QB is next year will have a better team next year
fax giants stacking up for the future
dont need to talk about taking a punter? you mean the best punter in college history? yea, dude is a stud.
fr Tory Taylor could 100% go down as the steal of the draft
I just love when Division 2 or lower players get drafted.
5:00 i think in the raiders defense they’re trying to run a lot of heavy two tight end/ fullback sets. It’s honestly a good strategy considering the qb room
Kyler running like a toddler is brilliant! Its true, you cant unsee it! Hahaha
Need more full nicely edited videos like these from you!!
The shorts got me wanting more.
Let’s goooo another full vid from bran!
You give me a Detroit Lions v Buffalo Bills Super Bowl and I’ll be happy. The entirety of Lake Erie might catch on fire, but it’ll still be fun to see a new franchise finally win their first Super Bowl.
Who’s here after Kirk got benched 3:14
4:47 your singing is impeccable
As a Dolphins fan, watching Wright be amazing but only get two touches a game is further proof we should just tune out for hockey.
man this is some of the best commentary I’ve listened to 😂
"Alright fine just the tip" I have liked and subscribed fucking hilarious😂😂😂
1:26 everyone’s favorite rambunctious toddler is finally healthy 😂😂😂
The one thing I think that's going super under the radar is the 49ers signing undrafted Cody Schrader from Mizzou
Agreed. Especially if you look at it like this:
"We know we're taking Penix this year. We want to have him sit for at least one season.
Which available QB would be the best guy to lead him?
Pay that guy whatever it takes to have him train your new franchise QB.
Thanks!
As a falcons fan if you think us getting an edge rusher would automatically make us Super Bowl contenders then I need what you are on
Thank you
You totally miss the point.
I'm obviously biased as a Falcons fan but we drafted an edge rusher in the third round and his highlights seem pretty great so I'm not too worried.
As a lions fan i woke up this morning realising that im going into next season expecting to win a lot of games and possibly make the superbowl. I dont know how to handle these emotions
Pigmentally challenged!!! Hilarious!!
Love it!
Tbf to the raiders: bowers is described as more of a hybrid TE/WR than a pure TE. Maybe they want to use him as a WR
YO the wording is hillarious 😂😂
as a giants fan picking Malik Nabers was a better choice… they tried to trade up and get Drake Maye he was the QB they liked in this draft and when they were unsuccessful they picked the next best player for their needs, had they picked a QB they weren’t 100% sure on they would have been in the same spot they are in now with DJ… this pick also allows no excuses for DJ since one thing he never truly had was a WR1 to throw to… would have loved for you to go in further depth of the other Giants players drafted though.
Feel the same way about the colts draft, thought they would go corner but pressure on qb will help corners. They could have done it later in draft but must see something in what they have
Jayden is definitely a human highlight reel. He may run for a 50 yard TD. Or run for a yard and get completely destroyed like you’ve never seen before 😂
@@ghettosuperstar.__9315 I'd rather have Jayden as QB than a lot of those other rookies. #HTTC ❤💛🏈
1:06 that joke was SUPER EFFECTIVE 😂
Henry Ruggs and Rashi rice about to form the third installment of the longest yard
Of course this is engaging and Whitty, but for me this is exactly what I wanted to know in a format I can follow. Great job as always 🖖
Findlay Oilers mentioned!
People saying things about Caleb Williams nails/phone case must remember Joe Namath wore pantyhose at a time where it was ridiculously taboo.
Just met Keon at the rookie premiere. He is indeed a nice guy, granted I only met him for 15 minutes but dude was really nice
It's a little weird that Green Bay has found its 3rd good QB, but only won 2 superbowls with their QB's
Yes that IS pretty remarkable. Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers and they only got two. And if Bill Parcells didn't have his head up his ass by kicking to the best returner in the game - Desmond Howard - they may not have won that Super Bowl against the Patriots.
@@SportsBossMan I'll agree to that 👍
love you shouting out achane and anias and you're right they're gonna be some guys
The Raiders taking Bowers was lowkey smart. He’s on fire this year. By far the top receiver on his team
That Hernandez shot was diabolical 😅
I like the players Minnesota drafted, but I am concerned that they gave up too much for Dallas Turner. We'll see how it goes.
Lets go!! I was waiting for this video. Keep up the great work bro
Edit: also am i the only one who bursted out in laughter when he did the power rangers theme for the raiders?😂😂😂😂
1. Colts secondary last year outside of Kenny Moore was basically 3rd string and practice squad, so them getting healthy and drafting some mid round secondary help is already an improvement
2. WHY DIDNT THE COLTS TAKE THAT TACKLE FROM SOUTH DAKOTA STATE IN THE 3RD
4:05 No mention of the Jets taking Braelon Allen from Wisconsin???
5:05 There's also something to be said about running two tight ends at the same time.
I love the Brock Bowers pick. The Jets should have taken him before the Raiders did.
