I’m surprised at how fast this reached Brett Favre level “I don’t care” for me. I’m bordering on rooting against Rodgers (as I did against Favre) just on principal.
@@Galva26 Nah. At this point the Jets’ ineptness is kind of endearing. Rodgers acting like he’s the best ever when he barely cracks the top ten is the rub.
Tom Brady trying to save his marriage/console his kids over an impending divorce is not the same as some dude going to do drugs in the desert. I legit feel bad for Robert Saleh!
So if the Cousins tampering is a common practice and not a big deal.. then please explain the Dolphins getting docked 1st and 3rd round picks for Brady tampering. And a 1.5M dollar fine
It wasn’t a big deal because Cousins was probably going to Atlanta regardless. But given that the Dolphins did not get Brady, it’s hard to see how they gained much of an advantage by tampering.
For one thing, what the Dolphins did was FAR worse. Twice they tried to lure Brady to Miami WEEKS before Brady’s contract with the New England Patriots was set to expire and not during the legal tampering period and not with those other teams’ consent. Ross (who was in the front office) even went so far as to set up an in-person meeting between Flores and Brady on a private yacht in the winter of 2020. They did it again when Brady was still with the Bucs. So the tampering happened while he was on a contract with two different teams over a period of two years. Kirk talked with the head athletic trainer (during the legal tampering period) who has nothing to do with contracts which is really what tampering (plus the no communication part) is all about. He wanted continuity in his treatment with rehabbing his injury and called the Falcons. And because the tampering had nothing to do with contract negotiations (it was a logistical matter), the punishment was far less. The Vikings had basically offered a one year deal and wouldn’t budge on offering a long term contract (which goes back to when the new Vikings GM got hired in 2022), but the Falcons did so Kirk wasn't gonna go back to the Vikings.
Rodgers missing OTA’s is not a big deal. They fined him because they have to be consistent with the expectation of being at camp. The media (as always) makes a big deal out of things that are not a big deal
AR does his spiritual retreat once a year, during the summer. He advised the Jets before workouts were scheduled. Rich is right about how this has been handed.
Oh Rich...😂 Don't let your Jets fandom cloud what you know to be true: A-A-Ron is only and always been about A-A-RON. I am so looking forward to the NY media tearing him apart this year after the Green Bay media kissing the ring for years 😁
That's his point. The Jets know that theres a magnifying glass on their team and QB, but they have handled it so poorly. Here we are, it's a big topic...
@@stevenkidd6761 his point is they wouldn't be making a big deal I'd the Jets had told them earlier and that is a blatant lie. They would still be talking about it nonstop, just like they did with Brady and his divorce.
It’s so stupid that the media is acting like their outrage is the jets and Aaron’s fault and that Aaron needs to answer for it… Like holy ceap are they delusional. No 1 cares
Horrible move Trevor couldn’t win a single game the final 5 games of the season all must win games and lost to the practice squad 3 win titans with division on the line why would you pay a guy with a 20-30 qb record with a horrible career 85 qb rating instead of waiting the year out
They’re gambling that he can get back to his 2022 form and the way the cap is growing and QB salaries are skyrocketing, this could prove to be a bargain in a few years. The alternative is to let it ride, in which case, the price to re-sign him will just go up and/or they could risk losing him to free agency in two years and have to start over in the draft.
As a vikings fan I am happy with the direction they are going in. So the Falcon thing is whatever. As a nfl I want to say other teams have been slammed for doing this what is the difference?
For a guy that’s conservative and contrarian, Aaron Rodgers sure does act like a snowflake. What other QB needs to “get his head right.” He’s a grown man, he’s had entire year to get his head right
It's hilarious hearing Rich saying if the Jets had said it was coming before there wouldn't be an issue...then straight to Breer saying the eaxct same thing!
So the 6 weeks coming up before training camp wasn't enough time for him to get his mind right? Lol. I can care less as I'm not a Jets fan but the excuse making is a little hilarious.
Can you imagine talking about a player struggling to overcome alchohol abuse like we do, passive agressively poking fun at Aaron's alternative methods of managing his mental health.
I think Mr. Breer would really benefit from adding that stupid useless right? At the end of darn near every other sentence because it's such an effective way to communicate
The funny thing is, at least to me, is that all the talk around AR, it actually says a helluva lot more about the people doing the talking, than it does about AR. If you have a negative view on AR, you have every right to say NOTHING. Try giving him no credibility, see how that works for once. What if the Jets knew perfectly well this whole uproar would happen, and everyone in that organization is sitting back laughing at the talking heads, seeing who says what, knowing they have the media wrapped around their finger.
It's so funny to see how Rich has totally changed how he covers Rodgers since he became a Jet
Missing mini-camp will have no impact on Rodgers. He WILL get his four snaps this season regardless.
Four more than four . Eight plays , doubling his contribution from last year .
Ngl rich saying the jets should’ve moved their entire camp a week or two because of one player is hilarious
Just an FYI: The Jets cancelled mandatory OTAs last year
“Spilling a little tea” was an excellent double entendre, and it totally wen over Breer’s head
That Tea line from Rich was nice
Breer is the man.

Nobody does High Register better than Rich apologizing for the ineptitude of the Jets.
I'll say it again. Everyone is talking about AR not being there. The attention is on AR and that's the way he likes it.
so it's okay to break the rules as long as the people breaking the rules are okay with it

It seems like most NFL insiders know where Aaron is and just won't say where. Why? Just say it, cowards! Who cares if Aaron gets mad, lol?
I have no idea why it is so cagey lmao just tell us what he’s up to
What difference does it make where he is? He’s not with the Jets. That’s all that matters.
AR may be a douchecanoe, but he is entitled to privacy.
