The best of the best. The only regret I have about listening to this is that I wasn't there to take part. The Irish are the best in the world at casual sit in sessions.
Thank you for send me lovely irish tunes. I'm so glad. I feel want to dancing all the time. With love, Daisy to all the Irish people. Hurray IRELAND. 😍😘😙😚💖🇮🇪👍☘
my old uncle taught me to play the fiddle when I was 6 I grew up in a family where at any given time there would be 15 people in The Parlor dancing drinking and playing Jigs and Reels God I miss it thank you for putting this up!
Happy, happy, happy music!!!! 6:00 am when I clicked on this, and with coffee cup in hand, I just had to get up and dance a little jig. Thanks for some great happiness this morning! LOVE LIFE.

Amazing session!!! This is the kind of video that makes me feel like playing... We have just started this socalled "Jam Session Culture" in our town this last sunday 25...it feels amazing to have some Irish Music here in Curitiba, Brazil.
Thanks again Mike for another gem!., was tracing my family on the online census and needing light relief, checked out the wonderful Bannerman and my laptop is just lepping!! What a great session.
Superb togetherness, but those boys should really SMILE a bit more, when they're enjoying the privilege of playing together so well. I'll put it down to concentration....! Thanks, Mr Bannerman

Fabulous music from top musicians. Thanks Bannerman.
Grand. Makes me want to forget my troubles and dance.
Great set of tunes here!
Absolutely magnificent music...
loving the bodhran playing here especially in the The Green Fields of Rossbeigh
Ringo probably remembers it from the very 1st De Dannan album back in the late 70's!
@@christaylor2070 I don’t know if he’d remember back that far! 😅
The Best piece of 'live 'recording' in my view !!!!!!! Neve r tired of watching it .
_I agree...Go hiontach ar fad_
Good flute player, not easy ta get volume with two fiddles a box a bouzouki and ringo on the bodhran.
Do you know anything about it .

I wish to be there sitting there Listening to all of you guys looks like fun
thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly what I needed to brighten my day!
The E flat tuning and combination of instruments is very reminiscent of De Danann. Almost thought I’d see Frankie Gavin when the video started!

Great session
Very nice set! Dang - all those pints sitting about, I had to put this on pause and add one of my own. :)

So much good energy here.
Great music
Mike, that was fantastic! Thanks for sharing this video.

Fabulous!
Bloody marvellous!
Class act there! Whistle gets a little frisky …. but still great!
I love hearing Johnny Mcdonagh, I think he is the sly Dunbar of bodhranplayers, keeps it simple keeps it tight and keeps it musical, no showing off
Devaney s goat , kerry man , dairy maid .but the second have several names
That's magic...
J irai bien en Irlande écouter cette belle musique j aime beaucoup sa
Excellent!!!!
Nice playing altogether.
For an inexpensive instrument Hora’s can really wail.

That's fantastic. However, how did you get everyone to tune up a half step?
Yeah, imagine playing the violin on that tuning, no open strings, fuck that shit lol. And what about that accordion? How does he play that?

I second the audience reaction.....can't get much better than that. But Brendan needs a 5th bass pair tuned to D!! (I make citterns).
Superb togetherness, but those boys should really SMILE a bit more, when they're enjoying the privilege of playing together so well. I'll put it down to concentration....! Thanks, Mr Bannerman
Lovely.
Well then, ya need ta go over to the Old Sod & bath in a few pints ... & soak in the music that way !!! (to jlowe 4 years ago)

In the pub Winkles in Kinvarra (Co Galway) where Johnny "Ringo" McDonagh (bodhran) lives.
