    What an amazing sight, a 48-hour old calf following for that long of a walk. Don't worry the sheep will come around. It may take them a couple of weeks to get used to human interaction. I'm glad I found someone with as many Amazon boxes as myself. 😅
    Thanks for sharing your farm with us,
    Jimmy

    I feel as if there should be a series of books about Mr. Brown & his shoes ✊🏾 Also, what’s the thought process behind getting the sheep to accept alfalfa pellets? It’s another great video Justin. You keep us loving that #FarmLife

    It is AWESOME to see kids use their imagination rather than using their thumbs stuck to a x box. Well done!
    Becky, could you tell us your recipe for your Apple cake? Almond and coconut flour is too expensive to experiment with using them.
    The Ewes, are they opportunistic breeders?
    One last Q. How are you doing with the colostrum milk Becky? What does it taste like? TMI alert! I got a lot of joy squirting mama milk at him. I was surprised at how sweet it is.

    Those chicks in the barn are growing quick. Pretty soon they will be out in the pasture!

    If you get in the habit putting raw garlic cloves, hot to the touch water, molasses, and apple cider vinegar and blend it up. Then you can give it to any animal at anytime to help with parasites. I started doing it to my sheep and goats after your issues with your sheep.

    You were disappointed that calf was a boy.. I'm thinking a female you'd keep and breed.. but how to breed with the male father? Do you plan on selling either male or female?.. or do you get a different bull? Obviously I just enjoy watching but have no clue.

    • @theJustinRhodesShow
      @theJustinRhodesShow  5 лет назад +2

      C Reinicke you can actually breed daughter and father in the cow world, however this ain’t studs calf. She was just bred when she got here by another bull. We weren’t planning on keeping a heifer but we could have sold her. But hey, I guess we’re gonna need the beef in a couple years anyway, so we’re thankful.

    You should spread out the corner in the pig port and make it all even

    • @theJustinRhodesShow
      @theJustinRhodesShow  5 лет назад +1

      Mark .o I see where you’re coming from on this but pigs like to poop in one area and live in another. So they poop and pee in that corner and we continue to cover it with mulch. As the pile grows in mass it becomes more effective as a compost pile, therefore knocking out any pathogens or parasites.

    I don't want to seem like a spoiler but if you don't want to bring virus into the house gloves would help you so you don't catch anything. So many on You tubers don't wear gloves when doing dirty jobs and it worries me. There is a virus you can get from cow manure. You need to teach the kids health and safety comes first.
