Jennifer Yang Taste even better! :-D
Hi am from India.,,. perfect recipe
wow seonkyoung unnie this looks amazing. i can't wait to try this out this weekend. i wanted to ask you if you have a recipe for jaenban guksu/mak guksu i am making bossam this week and i really want to have jaenban guksu with it like i see in the kdrama and the mukbangs. it looks so good the two together hope u can help me. i saw ur Jjolmyeon recipe and it look similar to jaenban guksu just different noodles but i was sure if that sauce would work or not. also at the end of the video saw u made fried rice i was wondering if u can add a raw egg before cooking that i have seen it done like that in dramas would it taste good here too?
jessierad16 Funny I was planing on making Jaengban Guksu soon! For now since you are making it this weekend, you can use my Jjolmyeon sauce recipe. The tip I can give you to make it better/more like Jaengban guksu, you can add 1/2 apple grated and add into the sauce. Garnish with roasted & chopped peanuts, some raisins, finishing touch of sesame oil are delicious in Jaengban Guksu as well! :-D
I personally not a fan of add egg into fried rice like that way, because it become too gooey for my taste. I prefer to add fried egg on top. But it's personal taste so if you want to try, you can definitely can! Everyone has different taste! :-)
pls do collab with maagchi u guy are my favorite chef♥♥♥ u are awsome♡♡♡
Yes please!
Yummy! 😄
I am a new subscriber, I love your videos! :)

killer321hitller321 Thank you! Love you!!❤️
Looks so good! What else can I use instead of perilla or seasame seed leaves?
+Na Lee Lor You can just omit. :-)

Great recipe! Hope I can find sesame leaves in my Asian market
***** I hope so too!
What can you use if you can't find any sesame seed leafs?
This looks amazing! I love bean sprouts and I love Bulgogi. Would this work in a dutch oven? I have exact one you have in the Korean Stock video.
+destenvise Yes, you that will work as fine. :-)
+Seonkyoung Longest Thank you so much, I will try this for sure.
+Seonkyoung Longest It was amazing dinner tonight! My husband loved it, and the dutch oven worked out perfectly. I'm so happy to have found your channel, you are right it is "easy and fun". Thank you, beautiful girl!
Seonkyoung, that looks really über yummy. You are so talented when it comes to cooking anything Asian. Maybe sometime, you should make General Tso's Chicken for me. I am deeply gratefully to have a talented RUclipsr like you. Byron. :)
Byron Chandler hahaha gheneral Tso will come at its time. :-)
Seonkyoung Longest Thanks, Seonkyoung.
Looks delicious! When tou cooked fried rice, what kind of rice did you use? & I love your kitchen! Can you make a house tour video?
Jennifer Xiong It's mixed grain rice (I think its like 12 different kinds of rice/grain in it.) I bought a bag of mixed grain from local Korean market. :-) I will make house tour video, I just need a bit more time! :-)
Seonkyoung Longest Okay. The rice look delicious. Of course, take your time on it. Love you & your videos. You have such a great personality.
Great video! It looks delicious! :)
Would love for you to do another bibimbap with fernbracken (gosari)
AshlynnOnYT I'm planing on making new video of Bibimbap :-)
where do you buy your thinly slice pork at? Looks sooo good!!!
+angel vang My local Korean grocery store! :-)

I really dont like Perilla leaves... can I skip them?
Awesome, awesome, awesome! You can do awesome! Also, anything! hehe
Hi Seonkyoung! Can I substitute Gochujang with Doenjang? My kids can't eat spicy food.
+Nanako Smith Yes, a bit of doenjang (since doenjang is more saltier then gochujang) will work as well! :-)
Would you please make a video about Spicy chicken feet?
I ate it in Korea about 2 years ago
I don't know what's it called but it was AWSOME!
Could you please make a video about it?
+SIBleueye {!¡}F{!¡} hahaha I haven't made yet, because I didn't know what kind of reaction to expect from you guys. lol But I've been thinking about sharing it though. Thank you for the request!! :-D
Thx!
It's SO delish!
But I don't know the name😵
But thx for replying!!
Love you
XOXOXO
Looks so good!! I had a question, how do you get the meat that thin?
Nikki Herrera I bought from local Asian/Korean store. Most of Asian/Korean/Japanese market sell this type cut of meat. The cut I used in this video is for shabushabu. Or you can cut with knife by yourself carefully, it might not perfect and take some time but it will work as well.
U can freeze a chunk of meat and then when it's a little defrosted u can cut it
Hi Seonkyoung, what's a good substitute for the sesame leaf?
Xtine M Other types of perila leaves, basil would work, but if you can find sesame leaf would be the best! :-D
+Seonkyoung Longest I have a question about it too.. If I wanted to grow the proper plant to harvest the perilla leaves from, what seed would I buy? It can be confusing and I want authentic Korean style leaves to use. Thanks for any help.
can do you a series on kids food, lunches, and baby food?
MsTokies I've made kids food only a very few times before and never made baby food. hahaha even though they were like bulgogi...
Will it take away from the flavor if you dont add the pepper flakes?
+Mizzycupcakes You can make it without it, but the color won't be as red as it is.
Hi, can we substitute the soy bean sprouts with mung bean sprouts instead? Mung bean sprouts are just easier to find. :P
+Gail Chan Of course!
+Seonkyoung Longest thank you for replying! I've just started watching your videos and I think you've got great screen presence. :) Your recipes are a clever and fresh spin on traditional dishes. ❤️✌🏻️
could you use sukjunamul instead of kongnamul?
+George TheOnion The texture and flavor will be slightly different, but yes you can use it. :-)
Can do 1 episode with maangchi plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz seongyoung
Maangchi lives in New-York😂
Hope they visit each other🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Marwan Ihsan I'm down for it, ask Manggchi. ;-)
That would be an Exited video!!!!
Maangchi Kim :)
Unsa tong dahon nga iyang gisagol ? Hagonoy ? 🥗🥩🍲🍱
A lot of work but very easy to eat.
The2are1 Why do you think its a lot of work?
+Seonkyoung Longest Because I have made Tteokbokki one time and it took a lot of time and a lot of work but when it was all done. It was very easy and joyful to eat.
yummy 😍😍
where do I get the green leaves
Korean grocery stores
I need to move next door to you so you can cook for me!
Is there an alternative to perilla leaves? They're not readily available where I live.
Perilla adds awesome flavor, but I would think any greens that would wilt like a handful of spinach would be just fine.
What can I use instead of meat for vegan substitute?
wheat gluten/tofu/whatever vegans eat.
wheat gluten/tofu/whatever vegans eat.
+Diana kara§ mushroom if you don;t want to use tofu
Diana kara§ Dolphin.
Diana kara§ different types of mushroom mixture would be beautiful in this dish! :-)
This is torture ; ; I"M SO HUNGRY!
Made this it came out really bland. Why?!
+Gggg You have to keep cooking until it's stewy cuz the sauce is not really strong. But if this recipe is too bland, you can make double amount of sauce for your taste. :-)
omg can you just come cook for me!!
Sister... I have to watched your video twice for sure... Love your cooking video.... But, my Military man doesn't know about a Korean food...I have to let him watch your video for a long time.....brain wash!.... for him that a Korean food is better than any other Asian food!!!! Kim75 75 Thank you for the love sis!! :-D I trained my hubby just serving him more Korean food every day and fix it as how he like it at that time.. hope this could help! Love you too!! ❤️
