Hi Stef! I just wanted to say your updates always make me happy because we started HRT around the same time, I was 7 months on T the 4th of July! It might sounds a little silly but I'm really happy to see us both getting opposite effects with HRT that both make us happier people!

Ugh I have lots of hair on my thighs and upper arms...
Bones do change. Look into osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Also, jaw squareness or softness is affected by muscle mass in that area. Hence athletes having chiselled jaws..
Also, there are ways to decrease muscle mass through exercise and nutritional parameters. It's called catabolic training. It's where your body utilises muscle as an energy source.
I think she meant like, the size of the whole bone you know, like the length? but yeah, the edges and the surface can definitely change. even the length too, but that takes time, just see how old people usually get smaller hehe
Length of bones doesn't normally really change, but the amount of fluid in joints does. When you get older there will be less fluid. This also causes joint pains.
She's saying estrogen supplements isn't going to shrink the bones
+Viktoria Drennen ... Yep, you're right. It's not the healthiest state to be in for a prolonged period. The results can be dramatic, however. I would imagine it being very useful for a trans woman, under careful guidance of a medical professional. Definitely wouldn't recommend it for people prone to eating disorders or depression. Just a warning to anyone considering it
I've given up shaving my legs because I'm lazy and it's annoying that people expect me to not have hair on my legs. So basically laziness and spite keeps me from shaving.

Stef I found your videos last year and i stop by every few weeks to see how you're doing. You mentioned you have a gofundme, well i just made one for myself so when you said that it really got my attention. I need help atm so i cannot really contribute to you, however if I get to a place soon where I can help you too I will do so. You are such a brave soul, I know your videos help others who are wanting to change to fit their souls just as you have. And also, i am a girl and plan to stay that way but I never feel comfortable in my own skin. But when i watch you in these videos it makes me try a little harder. I'd like to thank you for your transition videos, because I learn a lot through them. I'm a white heterosexual cisgender girl, but I feel like it's important to know what it can be like to transition or to come out or anything related to the LGBT community because I may need it one day to support a friend or member of my family. It's not because it won't happen to me that it won't happen to someone around me, and standing out for each other and supporting each other, whatever our gender, sexuality, or differences is SO important. So thanks a lot for sharing this with all of us!

I suffer from being the skinniest thing ever, and that is so hard. People say I don't eat, or think I am anorexic, and none of this is true. As a fan, it's overwhelming to see how happy you and how beautiful you are. When you watch someone on youtube so much it feels almost like you know them. I was in a really dark place a while ago and I didn't think I would live to see the day of me starting testosterone, but your videos have helped me through it and given me hope. I've been on it for a little over a month but a few days ago I already noticed growth of darker facial hair and it makes me so excited.
Can we all agree that the blue hair looks insanely gorgeous with her eyes? I think she pull off blue hair better than anyone else I've ever seen.

Hey Stef I just wanted to say that you're such a fantastically inspirational human being; even though in my life I cannot compare what I've been through/going through to what you have, the positivity and love you give off regardless is so contagious it makes me smile. It helps me forgive and move on from those who have done me wrong, more than anything it gives me hope that some when in the future I can be truly happy by myself. So I guess what I'm rambling on about is just wanting to say thank you because you helped remind me that I can love myself, even when I was completely lost in shame and self hate, you have helped me. I've just watched one of your older videos from around a year ago, where your explaining about the reasons behind your facial structure and all that lovely stuff, and I've got to say your voice has changed considerably, I noticed it straight away, I just wanted to mention this as you didn't mention it in your video, but I guess that's more to do with the how gradually the changes were happening, your are absolutely gorgeous and good luck to you, everyone deserves to be who they want to be❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think it is kinda cool that we started HRT around the same time, so it is helpful for me to compare our changes over that time.
for me my changes are as follows.
significantly softer skin, slight reduction in body hair, reduction in how quickly hair grows, significant breast tissue, very significant loss of strength, softening of overall features, and one big thing which seems to be rater uncommon but has really been a big change for me which is a change in my sexual preference. I know there is a lot of controversy over that, but for me it is very noticeable and clear, before hrt i liked and was attracted to women, but now i very clearly like am and attracted to men and not women at all.
I love these update videos! 😄 Thank you for always sharing! I can definitely see the changes in your face shape 😊 (What I LOVE even more though, is seeing how much happier/brighter you look in each update. Makes my heart happy ❤️)

I'm sure you meant well, but this commwnt comes off super derogatory. Telling a trans woman she "looks like a woman now" is insulting. She has always been a woman, and therefore has always looked like one. I think you may want to say something more alomg the lines of, "I have noticed a sagnificant feminization of your face," or something similar. All the love in the world to you, thanks for being positive and supportive.

Your videos touch me so deeply. You’ve been so helpful to transgender women like me. I feel when I watch you that you know how much potential there can be in people like me, women who so many people in a society as LGBTQIAPK-phobic as ours is don’t see potential in. I imagine that you have already saved lived doing this. I’m 26 now and would have loved for a channel like yours to have been around when I was younger. Keep inspiring transgender people to really go for it no matter what other people say. Best wishes :)

Love seeing your update videos! I just started back up on my HRT a few day ago. Had stop for almost 2 months because I had my Gender Surgery with Dr. Brassard in Montreal on June 15th. It hasn't been the most pleasent experience. However once I am all healed up and the pain is gone it will be so amazing. *Smiles* Can't wait to see how happy you will be after your surgeries.

Hey gorgeous- one thing. The sunburn actually is an issue with estrogen. Because your skin gets thinner and paler, it is more vulnerable to sun damage. Spf is your friend.

you should consider investing in an Epilator, stef! it's so much better than shaving. i use one by Braun, and basically what it is is this small handheld device that pulls out the hairs.. it's less scary than it sounds. but it's virtually painless and you only have to do it every three weeks or so ;)

I know this isn't from the estrogen it's voice training but I love the way it sounds in this video. You are doing an amazing job at changing it. It's a lot less nasally sounding more and more feminine in every video. 😀
