      And just a quick input (even though my opinion doesnt matter) you should keep your nose in your facial feminization surgery cuz its adorable and I love it haha

      +Megan C please don't tell trans people what to do with their body. Surgery has been proven to help trans people's mental health (for those who want it) and if that's what makes her happy then it's up to her.

      ***** i wasnt telling her what to do with her body. Im all for her getting surgery. I simply said one of her facial features is very pretty.

    Every time I see her wanna put a pair of fairy wings on her and watch her fly around a garden. She's just so pretty.
    This is the weirdest comment I've ever left. No regrets.

    I'm of a much older generation and, in my younger years, witnessed (and stood up against) almost immeasurable ignorance and hatred towards the LGBTQ+ community. It warms my heart to know that you are embraced by such a wonderful, supportive community. I know it can still be a very harsh, unforgiving world but you, your generation, and communities such as this, give me hope.

I wish I had your confidence and bravery to do things like this. I couldn't imagine putting something so personal on something so public and you have been helping me so much. you have taught me to accept myself for me and I'm getting out of my severe social anxiety. thank you so much for what you do and you look amazing btw. ♡♡♡

Equal rights means having potential for equality, and I am only attracted to my equals. Would you date an individual who was a completely dependant on you & had no confidence or tolerance, man or woman?

    I wish you weren't so negative about muscles. I mean, I understand it. But having muscles is by no means not feminine. Simone Biles is girly AF, cool AF, and cute AF.
    I think we need to remember that this is society telling us that, being a girl+big(strong)= bad, where as girl+tiny(weak)=good. Fuck society or culture or whatever. Being strong is awesome. Being athletic is awesome.

    • @mousysaint9143
      @mousysaint9143 8 лет назад +22

      I think you're misunderstanding.
      Men have a more muscular body structure. If you want to transition than you don't want to have the muscular body because that's a man's body.
      Even when women have muscles, they're quite different to men. A women's muscular body is something nobody complains about.

      She talked about that in a vudeo, saying she loves muscles on other girls and thinks its perfectly fine, and that enforcing such a binary is a wrong thing but unfortunately she associates her muscle with being male and thus it creates dysphoria. She's trying to accept it as part of her female body but getting to true acceptance of those things especially if they cause dysphoria is hard.

    I just discovered you and after watching some videos, you honestly seem like such a genuinely sweet and thoughtful person! I love that even when you find yourself speaking in ways we have all been taught to as we grew up (binarist, ableist, etc.) you acknowledge it! As an obviously very popular and influential person, I'm so so happy to see someone do that and let people know, hey, we all mess up! It's hard to find new words and ways of speaking, and that's okay. Just keep at it, everyone!
    Also seeing your transition really brings a tear to my eye because, as a person that experience dysphoria, I feel so so happy for you to be able to transition into a happier physical space.

    High reps, low weight, and cardio. :) That will keep you lean, but not bulky. Also, swimming. It's great exercise and doesn't put a shit ton of stress on your joints. :)

    • @NannaLaurie
      @NannaLaurie 8 лет назад

      I heard that high reps with low weight actually cause bulky musculature. Where as low reps with high weights cause strenght. I don't know why all these people say cardio doesn't build muscle. Because I've been a competitive swimmer (almost) all my life and I'm muscular. Swimming pretty much equals cardio.

    • @missmaddie8381
      @missmaddie8381 8 лет назад +2

      +NannaLaurie high reps with low weight creates strength while keeping muscles lean and low reps with high weight creates strength and bulky muscles. They both create strength, but they cause different shapes in your muscle.

    Hm. Question for you. As you're witnessing your body's changes, as they taper off, you may end up with a body you're not satisfied with in some way - most women do, I suspect. Is there a difference between your feminine body not looking how you want it to and your birth body not looking how you want it to?
    Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

      I know its not really the same and im not Stef or anything but I am a transgender guy and can provide some insight. im not on hormones or anything but I do little things to transition ie voice exercises and binding my chest. now, I am terrible dysphoric and hate my body most days for how it is. but I hate the feminine parts. that's why I hate it. i hate it because its something that limits everything I do, how people see me and interpret me as a person. all in all im disgusted by my own body. however, whenever I do have a binder on and masculine clothes and I get recognized as a guy, I still hate my body. but I don't hate it for the. same reasons. I just hate the bit of budge that I have, or my acne. my chest isn't as flat as I'd like it to be, but it looks natural for if I was cis and the same weight and body shape as I have now. tl;dr I hate my body as a females for every aspect and the femininity, but I hate my more masculine body for fixable more natural things. hope this gave some insight.

    Stef, can you please make a video addressing the hate on the youtuber Milo's video? It makes me so upset that the comment section on all his videos has basically become a homophobic cesspool, but I have no platform to speak on it. XXX

    • @1989ycymry
      @1989ycymry 8 лет назад +8

      'Can't' was the wrong word to use, I meant to say "Shouldn't". You shouldn't make statements like that. You can if you want to and RUclips is a lovely free platform that enables you to do so, but it's also a place for people to comment their opinions. When you post something up on this site you're opening yourself up to other people's commentary. If you don't want to hear them, don't be a part of something like this.

    • @candz1000
      @candz1000 8 лет назад +3

      +Ycymry I am fine with people disagreeing with Milo, but I am not fine with the disgusting homophobic hate he is receiving for a video that's not even that hateful.

    • @candz1000
      @candz1000 8 лет назад +1

      +Ycymry I think you should look at the comment section of his latest video before we continue any sort of discussion xx

    • @emmaversace4329
      @emmaversace4329 8 лет назад +20

      i agree the hate he gets is pretty overwhelming but you have to admit the shit he says is extremely stupid lmao. He's basically asking for trolls to drag him within an inch of his life.

    • @soupdragonuk
      @soupdragonuk 8 лет назад +4

      Agree the homophobic attacks are cruel and vile. However, Milo has made a rod for his own back. When he calls all white people racist and all cis people transphobic, it's obvious they are asking for trolling and personal attacks. You don't make blanket statements like that without repercussions. Milo makes too many bad comments, and then acts injured when people bite back. if you want to make statements at least have evidence to back up said statements. Milo really needs to learn to keep his mouth shut at times, simply because sadly people will attack based purely on Milo's gender. Sad but true.

    I just wanted to send you all my love and support! I wish you the best of luck on your way! I am so happy on your behalf that there are ways for you and other people that are going through the same process, to feel happy and well in their own body. It's so good to know that when people feel like they are stuck in a body that doesn't reflect the person they truly are inside, that they can get the help they need. Stay strong, kind and true to who you are. That's what really matters in the long run, people will always leave hateful messages, but what matters the most are messages like you put out. Again, i wish you the best of luck, i am so happy for you and wish i could give you the biggest hug. Lots of love from Norway❤️

      +Stef Sanjati Hi Stef, I'm wondering about something. Do you have to take the pills your taking for the rest of your life? If you get gender reassignment surgery do you still have to take the medication? I'm curious because we all have estrogen and testosterone at different levels in our bodies whether we are a man or a woman. I'm wondering if there is a way to do a complete sex change. I'm curious about how all of that works. Do you know?

    • @abbie-roseraeburn1267
      @abbie-roseraeburn1267 8 лет назад +3

      +Alex Jordan she will always have to take it because she was assigned male at birth- so she doesn't make her own estrogen. If she stopped taking it, it would slowly disappear and be replaced with testosterone. Xx

    • @AlehSandoval3212
      @AlehSandoval3212 8 лет назад

      +Abbie-Rose Raeburn She will only really have to take it for the rest of her life if she decides to go ahead and get Sexual Reassignment Surgery. It is at that point that her body won't really be making any type of hormone so she will need to keep on taking the medication to keep her body healthy as the body requires hormones. But if she doesn't go on to that route to get srs she's doesn't need to keep taking them because a lot of the changes are somewhat irreversible if taken for large extended periods of time. Breast tissue and the distribution of the fat are things that won't go back. But I believe that body hair and everything else does go back, I'm not too sure.

    • @KillAllTheFriends
      @KillAllTheFriends 8 лет назад

      +Trixiiicx it does. I know it's fictional but OITNB has a plot about a trans character having their hormones taken from them which is pretty accurate. genitals basically trigger/create hormones, so srs does cut down the need for them ( I mean if you're a women who doesn't care about body hair or a slightly cracked voice I guess you could stop taking them!)

    New here. I just went down the rabbit hole, watching through your transition. I have two immediate thoughts. First, thank you so much for sharing this process. It has been incredibly enlightening to see the physical/emotional/mental changes that happen with hormone treatment. Second, I just feel overwhelming gratitude that we live in a day and age when science can accomplish this! Helping someone become the person they're supposed to be with pills and cosmetic treatments- it's amazing. I'm not trans, yet I feel so incredibly grateful that these kind of treatments exist. You're awesome! Love

      Cassadi Megan Thank you Cassadi. My grand daughter contours, her friends contour, AND I see it everywhere!! I think it's up to the individual whether or not they want to do it.. or if they're in the mood to do it. I just did it myself today .. I had an appointment and wanted to look good. It's nothing to argue over, some people just don't know; they may have busy lifestyles and think they know. Could be it's more popular in some states rather than others.

    you're the best, stef. been watching for about a year now and have had such a great time watching your transition and how happy I can see you are. :) you also helped me a lot to realize that I am also trans and am genderfluid. once I was able to actually place what I was feeling, everything made so much sense from my entire life, including stealing the "boy's" puberty booklet in 5th grade and always feeling like the "girl's" one just wasn't complete for me. I hope things continue to go well with you and I look forward to seeing more updates💜
