I like knowing the smallest needle to use. I liked the more bobbin adjustment, and I knowing that the jellybean switch needs to be in jellybean mode to remove the stitch plate.

Great video. Please keep adding more user error videos. Maybe even a live chat with questions from users. Such as….when I use Glide thread with spool cap as shown it will often spool off and wrap around the thread spool holder. Usually occurs with new full spool. Again thank you.

Awesome Video, Thank you! I just got a notification from UPS that my brand NEW DX 2000 QVP will be delivered today, so this was the perfect tutorial for me to watch in preparation of setting up my new machine. I'm so excited to get my new Juki! Funny thing is, while you were giving the information on needle punctures to the bobbin plate, I was thinking, "you need to clean out that fuzz on the left" LoL. Had you not explained that is meant to be there, I would have definitely cleaned it up!

Including the comments about the needle penetrating the bobbin case was useful. I had that happen today for the first time while I was doing an overcasting stitch. The needle went through and broke off midway. I'd never seen that before. I still don't know what I did wrong to cause that. I've been using the machine a lot recently - it might need better cleaning than I can do at home.

Adjust the timing of the needle rod...if the tip of the bobbin hook is below the needle hole, adjust the rod to let the tip of the bobbin hook just at 1/16 mm above the needle hole.
Adjust the bobbin shaft if the tip of the the bobbin hook goes beyond the needle hole. These are the cause of the problem of skipping stitches or even not catch the bobbin thread.
