I mean, i prefer based on color, not friction. But if I had to choose, uhh welp maybe dark grey with friction. I mean, just think of the possibilities!! 😱
I got blue ones from a decade and a half ago from a Lego technic crane that are tight only time I've seen or heard of blue ones being tight talked to a few people and that set seems to be 1 of 2 tec sets with tight blues
@Wienerpoops oof. Many people say that they liked 8th grade, so don't be worried about my words, but 8th grade was a living hell for me (mainly because of bullies, harder work [that's the year I got AAC classes for the first time], friends moving, and just the school being crowded.
I remember discovering this. I was at first confused that some pins were tighter than others but then I realized it was made that way The red one is my favorite
I actually knew this. And I think it has something to do with the slits in the pins. A sand pin (16mm) has less friction and less slits. A black pin (16mm) has more friction and more slits. So the more slits a piece has, the harder they are to move, which is likely why pin are colour coded.
When I was a kid, I tried to make a ceiling fan out of lego It never worked, it was always stiff as fk I see why now I probably used a dark gray pin because I wanted it all to be in the same color
As a Bionicle owner this has to be BS. Bionicles came with dozens of these each in every color for joints. They didn't give the blue guy stiff joints or whatever he's trying to say lol
Tip: Though the blue one can swivel, it spins less freely than the white or grey ones
That is exactly what I was gonna say as it’s about in between
Yeah, the blue and black ones don’t move near as much
There is also a tan one that swivels easily
Yeah I was about to say this as well
_COOL_
Very interesting! I didn't even know they made red ones!
They are in like every Lego Star Wars set lol
Spongebob
Tapos bob lego please please please😊
Red ones are relatively new compared to the others, first appearance in 2022
Number 3
I mean, i prefer based on color, not friction. But if I had to choose, uhh welp maybe dark grey with friction. I mean, just think of the possibilities!! 😱
I think that one is my favorite too!!
Dark grey and red ones are cool
Lego is very clever on making these technic pins
black technic pins???
Thank you for this video
I figured these things out a few years ago the hard way…
Using grey is not great when making something structurally sound
It depends on what I’m making. I like the frictionless ones because i like making butterfly knives out of technic pieces
Yellow ones also have no friction
I started to suspect this when I experimented with legos
I always thought that blue was high friction, black was medium and white, gray, beige were low
“STUD OF THE BRICK”
My mom: what did he sayyy-
No grey is for movement, black is for stiffness.
I ussually use the tight friction ones but the open friction ones are great for wheels.
i prefer the ones that doesnt spin, cuz i really need ones that doesnt spin but they have useful shape, but they spin.
for blue gray and white are good if you wanna make a butter fly knife but the others are good to reinforce builds
As a kid I found this out on my own by experimenting
I always thought that the gray ones were loose the blue ones were in between and the red ones were tight
When I'm not with you I'm a white technic pin
But when I'm with you I'm a red one
stud of a brick is the best thing have heard all day 🤣🤣🤣
For me it depends on the situation so there both good
I actually knew this and it is very interesting I prefer the movable ones . Nice video 👍
Tf you mean "which one fo you prefer?" right after you explained they're meant for different tasks
I prefer it when it's tight
The blue one is inbetween, its not as easy to spin as the gray and white ones
I learned this via trial and error
Gray ones really like to fly of like fired bullet
I only knew about the blue and light grey ones lol
no friction we go spinning
No... It doesn't "reduce friction" It just has less friction
Black is spin with some friction
I got blue ones from a decade and a half ago from a Lego technic crane that are tight only time I've seen or heard of blue ones being tight talked to a few people and that set seems to be 1 of 2 tec sets with tight blues
the light grey
The blue one I ,
prefer
Light gray=loose black=tight
I've always wondered why some would be looser than others, just thought they were defective or something lmao.
i use white to make a balisong. it turns so well
Bro said oh shit
Tip: put two blue pins on one technic piece and put another one on top to produce a tight friction
I have grey ones that are also frictionless
I learn this in the republic fighter tank build
Very good to know!
Stud of a brick, lol ima use that from now on
Also black pin bro like red and dark grey
Dark grey all day
Thank you for the information
I know this but you forgot the yellow pins, used for speed
I have only seen light grey and blue ones
The movable ones
BIONICLE BLUE BABY
I have never seen the white red or dark gray ones
I didn't know this!
This is the voice of eco ATM I swear
I only used green in my life
I already knew that but thanks!
Red technic pins to me are shotgun shells
Can you make gibits for your crocs out of legos
Cool
Oh stud of a brick💀
And the black one
Bro he almost said a bad word😮
yeah i do wonder, that causes that tight friction?
I only have blue and light gray :(
You forgot the tan ones
I thought it was all aesthetic and I had just some worn and some not. I'm surprised and informed!
Your forgetting about the black technic pins
I though there was blue (no friction) and gray (friction)
And light tan
The black ones increase friction too and the skin colored one reduces friction. (This sounds so racist)
I only have blue ones
What about the light gray ones
What about the black ones just found out I don’t have any other ones except tan and blue
ALL
What about the black one
Ah but noone wanna belive it idk why
What about the tan and light gray?
Blue
So why bionicle came with blue and black ones?
I preffer blue
Yes I knew this
blue
Umm.. what about black and tan colour pins?
Yes i know all real lego fan know
Yes
Were you on lego masters you replaced the old guys
That “stud of a brick” really caught me off guard
Same
@@alexanim8orbooth
Same
It's actually good non curse word
or what about "*****"?
The blue ones have tight friction for me and there are tan ones that have next to 0 friction and are really good.
I used tan ones to make a Boeing 777. Or should I say bong 7,77
My guess is tans are older whites
@@Hyperaxe_realthey also used Lego to make the real Boeing 727
The tan ones are very loose. The blue is way tighter than them.
yes
@Wienerpoops fr. Back in my engineering class, we used Legos for some models, and we only had access to tan, blue, and black.
@Wienerpoops I did, but math was too complicated for me, so I'm choosing to take a business major in college.
@Wienerpoops lol. Opposite for me since 8th grade. I wish I could do math wellm
@Wienerpoops oof. Many people say that they liked 8th grade, so don't be worried about my words, but 8th grade was a living hell for me (mainly because of bullies, harder work [that's the year I got AAC classes for the first time], friends moving, and just the school being crowded.
The blue Ones can also be stiff
Wow 56 likes this is awesome
@@zachandrobvermaasanddeatha457delete that shit now lil bro
@@zachandrobvermaasanddeatha457 nah keep it up
That "stud of a brick" really fair
For me, blue has always been one of the tighter ones
I remember discovering this. I was at first confused that some pins were tighter than others but then I realized it was made that way
The red one is my favorite
Oh, that's very cool! Can you please do a complex rabbit?
I actually knew this. And I think it has something to do with the slits in the pins. A sand pin (16mm) has less friction and less slits. A black pin (16mm) has more friction and more slits. So the more slits a piece has, the harder they are to move, which is likely why pin are colour coded.
mine does the opposite, did i break it?
I prefer whichever one I need for a build, if it’s a build or something that has the spin for a blue one if not black
I’m sorry but is English your first language?
@@DeezNuts-ej6sr oh yeah I just used Siri
I put blue pins on most of my weapons to represent tape, I’ve only seen light grey and blue ones in person
When I was a kid,
I tried to make a ceiling fan out of lego
It never worked, it was always stiff as fk
I see why now
I probably used a dark gray pin because I wanted it all to be in the same color
Probably for the best they come in different colors, just a shame that sometimes conpromises a sets look.
