My Craftsman LT 2000 won't stop. I understand the problem may be an aftermarket drive belt. Have ordered a new one and will be installing as soon as it arrives., Have saved this excellent step by step video to use as a guide. Thanks!
Really appreciate this video... was able to understand the layout and then figured out where my belt jumped a questionable pulley. Back running again, just in time for the Spring cut.
What might be the problem why im going through drive belts on my Ryobi 190 riding mower..if you can throw a couple of possibilities i would appreciate it thank you
Hey I have a craftmans LT2000 and while I was mowing I lost drive power pedal just moved without any tension. I found the broken spring that gives you tension. It is about 6 inches long and about 1.5 width. I can't find were underneath it goes. I have lifted up mower and taken off deck but can't figure out were it hooks up too. I need picture of underneath with spring intact. It is the big spring that connects in the middle some where I believe..Can you help? Thanks.
Really appreciate the video and I know this was uploaded quite some time ago but can you confirm the belt length is 101”? Can’t seem to find that. Thanks again!
Nice video but I have a question my 2014 LT 2000 feels like its skipping and they drive belts looks good. What could be causing this skipping or bucking issue?
@@redneckcomputergeekThe idler pully is just for the mower blades correct? I'm having with the transmission slipping (I see I said skipping) where the tractor isn't moving.
You make it look so easy. Thanks for the pointers, too. I'm new to working on my lawn equipment.
I've done this belt a few years ago, but thanks for refreshing my memory. Need to do it once again.

Check for a bad idler pulley with failing bearings.

@@giovanigiorgos2955 the drive belt will have a clutch and normally at least 1 idler pulley. Those can go bad and cause what your talking about.
@@redneckcomputergeek Copy.....thanks again for your help I'll check it out!
Thanks, Man!
My lt2000 mower won’t move the top belt is tight the lower belt is busted what is that belt
This would be helpful if my LT2000 didn't look completely different than the one in the video. Must change with newer gens. Back to square one.
My bet is you have the rebranded Troy Built Bronco 2.
I have a craftsman LT2000 with a Honda engine and the gas tank is below the seat not the battery.
This is a very old video. You still around?
wish you was my neighbor
