This is a great perspective with the deck removed. Both of my brakes had broken springs and I had to replace a spindle. This helps to see how it all should look. I hae found that some belts for this mower seem to be 95 inches while others are 95.5, on my mower that half inch makes a difference in disengagement.
The mower deck belt I bought is 95 in Long. Can you install the mower deck belt while the deck has not been moved? Seems like the belt can't get around the drive shaft?

Thanks for making this video. Saved me a good bit of time standing around scratching my head trying to figure this out. Again, I really appreciate it!
Dang I was hoping I didn’t have to take off the mower deck but here we are
As you have probably found out you do not have to remove the deck. It's very easy to do just by reaching underneath. I have done it multiple times.

That's a pretty good video but it is not a serpentine belt it is simply a V belt. Also it is not a hairpin Cotter . It is called an R pin.
Great video! Would you happen to know the size of the belt?

That belt looks worn
