Damn bro you ain’t lying. I’ve gone thru almost every high gain amp out there. And nothing beats my 6505+ If it had a beautiful clean channel it would be the best amp ever all around
Yep. I think the Rockmaster pre amp rack unit is very similar to the preamp circuit in the Triumph series amps. No boost pedal needed to tighten them up.
This amp has a cool history and is certified awesome. i have a 6505+ combo that is best run out of a 4x12 like you have here. I've got a hankering for gt12-75 so i put one in the combo and my 4x12 is an x-pattern v30 / GT12-75 which is face melting loud. the only bummer with it is that there is a surface-mount pc board that is the chassis and it's prone to having contact lifts which cause it to fade in and out. i had mine fixed by a pro downtown but it was a pia. otherwise i love it. also the logo glows blue at least it does on the combo but mine kind of frizzes on and off randomly, the tech said just turn it off it's unfixable etc i keep it going bc it makes the amp look like its about to blow up '-)
I'll never forget going to warped tour and hearing nearly every band I loved use these. It really is that metal tone.
Yep. If you listen to metal 99% of your favorite bands either recorded with a 5150/6505 or a Mesa Rectifier.
originally made popular by Carcass on Heartwork
He’s pretty good to pick and fret while adjusting the knobs😂
U know what reamp is? Check It out! Pretty cool stuff!
Bros can go for many fancy boutique amps. In the end, this is the true sound that all high gainers are searching for. Change my mind...

6505 too thrashy for me, I prefer the stealth or slo100
Killer tone man , the peavey rockmaster preamp is also a monster with tighter distortion than 6505

5150 6505 evh 5150 Amps are freaking great for metal and hard rock. I’ve even seen in videos of country players using them. 😂❤
Огонь! Мое любимое сочетание Пивик и ректокаб
Love this amp! Killswitch is always great too 🤘🏽

Yes
Peavey Ultra was and still is the best amp
Had one back in 2000 and used it on an album. At that time I was in a brutal metal band and it definitely served our sound well!
@@ChannelForty2what was the name of the band any albums out there that can listen to
I still prefer 6505, but ultra shreds!
I would love to have that rig!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably not most brutal but most popular for core music
Kinda hard to get an idea of the sound without it being mic'd. up.
Loving the kse riffage. All these overpriced boutique amps are mostly status pieces imo, I'll take a 6505 or 5150 any day
This was a track from Lasse Lammert?
Killswitch Engage
What type speakers is the cab loaded with?
