oh my god, I didn't know that pals will collect those fruits for you. I have a base near your base 1, just so that I can battle Ryu Ultra and then travel there to collect skill fruits, but I did it manually! (by the way, the fruit tree is outside of the coverage of my base... plus I never built a chest there either)
1 Tree = 3 Fruits && 300 min
-> 1 Fruit / 100 min
So 1 Fruit every 1.6 hours

To min max and avoid CPU overload I assume it would be best to keep the bases to high level areas that provide better fruits?
So e.g. 4 Saku Island (4 Pals)
2 Astral Mountains (2P)
2 Mt Obsidian (2P)
2 Dessicated Desert (2P)
1 Main Base (20P)
1 Mining Base (12P)
1 Oil Base (8P)
1 Raid Base (20P Max)
1 Breeding Base (Variable 8 Max Pals @ Lv 1 (no workloads))
= 15 Bases in all (78 Pals max)

Thanks! I stick to the 4 sakurajima trees for now, since those skills are so much better than the regular trees.
There is one location at the northern Astral Mountain Skill Fruit Tree that can have the Tree + Pure Quartz nodes,
quite nice for Pure Quartz and old fruits. But that tree does not have Lightning Streak.

If only they loot junk piles in the future, and open chests... actually does Mimog open chests in your base if you're not there?
As far as I know you have to have one with you so you can ask it to open it when you approach the chest. They may have changed the QOL in the latest patch but I have to wait a bit to find out.
@@KoshTimeStepper Yeah for now I don't think pals open any chests (keyless ones in some of my bases never get opened)

I didn't now they respawned. On my world, the very first tree I harvested was near the mamorest alpha. I had a base nearby and It never regrew. I just went and checked it after seeing this and it is still empty. 600 in game days later.
An object must be near it or over its placement, even if you didn't put it there, something's blocking the collision. Try blasting a few rockets near that area and maybe it'll break the object overlapping the tree spawn.
Dammit. Now i need to make another base solely for the skill fruit.
That's weird, I never see any of those trees sprouting fruits, every time that I've visited the new island all of them are empty.
If u have taken fruit from them recently it would show empty , you have to wait for a long time (5 hours in game time) for the fruits to respawn
Or that it was still rendering when you reached there, just give it some time it might load.
@@Despair_8 I'm not sure if I ever was able to find any on the trees. Maybe rendering but I'm not sure.
guess what, if you set the day speed and night speed to max, then new skill fruits will spawn after 1 hour

Set speed to 5x for 1h instead of 5h.
so is there an Crude Oil place with Wisdom tree? Then I can set a base to do both
Sadly nothing like that, at best you can connect a wild egg spawn to the bases. I recommend using these for a while then moving again when you have a stock of fruits.
@@ProfessorPenking and then I thought I may have the crude oil needed for the next 2 months already, so I may abandon this base for now and use it also to farm skill fruits. Or maybe I can change the breeding base to be where a skill fruit tree is, but they usually is not near a large flat land
there are places like that. both in the desert, both on a plateau.
Not sure if anyone knows how to do this. I play on xbox and after about an hour or maybe 2. The game goes black and i am back at the home screen of xbox. Before it use to be ever 15-30 minutes but i've turned off my multiplayer and this seems to work. My nat type is open but it keeps going back to strict every so often. Another issue is that i just became lvl 50 today and i want to get Bellanoir Libero and Blaze Ryu but i can't enter dungeons because the same black screen happens about 2 mins into the dungeon. does anyone know how to fix this problem? I tried searching it up but only pc versions show up.
Maybe you could try going to their Discord to see if anyone has a solution? Might be due to the model of Xbox you play on and I know the Series S does have a bit of a struggle with some games. Hopefully the new patch will help iron out the problems. I have some hiccups on Series X sometimes it's the wifi just pooping out due to data being used by everyone or bad weather as this game is pretty much online.
@@KoshTimeStepper yeah, I have the series S. The new update just added new problems. At first I clicked continue my game and it tried making me make a new character and I cut it off and back on it and was back to my lvl 50. Then it sat lagging so hard for three minutes. Only for bases that I've had for months that my past worked on like ore and coal. It now says those pals can't reach their task so they stopped working. Luckily I have over 200k of ore, but I did have to make new bases just so I can move some stuff around and make it more proficient.
@@jeremiahyoung4617 The ai pathing can be a royal pain. I had to remodel my base (easier open plan with pillars) to remedy the pathing issues and that is before this latest patch drops. Hopefully whatever bugs are hampering the Series S can be sorted.

Higher level areas drop better fruit and the 4 Sakurajima Skill Fruit Trees drop the best fruits.
